今日Happy Friday,晏晝就食好少少,經過呢度,見到以前既Flame轉左形,自從上次路過見到佢個Lunch Set有我最鐘意既Clam Pasta同Fish & Chips,今次見到又仲有呢2味,就即刻舉手話要食呢度。入到去,同以前有少少唔同,但格局幾乎冇變過,我同比較友好既同事仔,2個1人叫1款share一齊食,事關我地2個都鐘意Clam Pasta同埋Fish & Chips呢2味餸。首先黎左個蕃茄湯,佢個湯超強勁,真係每一啖都有蕃茄蓉係入面,好重香料味,味道好濃郁,好可惜,我並唔係a fan of tomato所以我飲左1/3碗就棄權比左另一位同事了,哈哈哈哈。之後等左都好一陣(其實都有啲耐)我地既野食終於到喇。先黎同事仔既Clam Pasta,味道唔錯,只係嫌佢酒味有點點重,蜆既數量都夠多,但好可惜,佢12萬個油!勁油!最後我地要long起隻碟等佢啲油聚住一邊先食另一邊,真係好鬼誇張。我個個炸魚薯條黎喇!個樣好靚,好吸引,佢呢度係用肥薯條(粗個隻),另外舊魚都算大件。即刻拎條薯條試下,熱辣辣,外脆內軟,仲好有薯味,非常好!再黎試下個魚,好脆身,入面塊魚都算幾好,唔dry,幾juicy,肉質又唔會好散,比起出面啲餐廳,呢度已經做得好好!總括黎講,呢度野食唔差,service好好,唯一唔好既係個pasta好鬼油膩,其他真係唔差。 continue reading

放lunch時間到!去到呢間細細地嘅restaurant 個feel幾好,仲有bar檯,應該for夜晚飲酒嘅!坐低睇咗個menu就叫咗carbonara,diet coke,同salad(全部都係一個餐),夾埋都係$88,無加一服務費,我覺得係超值咖!個carbonara上面有啲煙肉同青瓜,好重芝士味,不過都唔算太濃味,最唔好係個底啲汁太油,整體幾好味,麵條適中軟硬度。個侍應服務幾好,不過食salad之後等main dish有少少耐,可能我太肚餓啦😓😓😓下次會再食咖! continue reading

Previously this restaurant used to do roast chicken but then they closed for a while and now they serve pies instead of roast chicken.The restaurant has now been converted into a small pub.Here is the new menu and it's nice to see that they still have piri piri chicken burger on the menu.I ordered two pies which were not available so I had to choose from the list she showed me, so in the end I had chicken and mushroom and the beef curry pie.★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★Chicken and mushroom:Evidently this pie was made in Hong Kong because it had the Asian shitaake mushroom.The taste was ok but nothing spectacular because it was piping hot outside and slightly cold in the middle.★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★Beef curry pie:It was crammed with lots of minced beef but again it was cold in the middle despite the hot steam coming off it.The beef was a bit too gamey for my liking.★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★ continue reading

從食友 SSG 口中得知這裡有家不錯的烤雞店, 於是便一起前來拜訪一下。店內環境來說, 其實不錯的, 燈光帶點暗, 心境倍添寧靜。點選了四份一只 Piri Piri, 是一款辣的烤雞, 靈感來自非洲, 以新鮮紅椒和多款配料調製, 賣相對辦, 從表皮看來烤得帶少許微焦, 火路剛好。剛剛出爐的烤雞, 拿上手時還是熱辣辣的, 沒有不好吃的理由, 加上不少肉汁保留在內, 肉質亦見嫩滑, 其實是一件質素上佳的烤雞。可是, 或許店子位置實在有點偏僻, 人流始終不多, 只是開業了不久, 現在卻已經關門大吉。或許, 只能夠說: 「搵食艱難啊!」 continue reading

Knew the place is small so went out for early lunch. Fortunately got the last table.Herb chicken is juicy and tender, got potato wedges as side dish. Their salad bar looks tempting so will give it a try next time.Funny that while I was waiting, trying to figure out whether piri piri is spicy. Guy behind the counter didn't really answer me but the ones standing in line do. continue reading
