I was a bit hungry and then it started to rain! As I was in the middle of Sheung Wan, I ducked into this small shop called Fruit Day and decided to get a bite to eat.The place served salads and sandwiches, smoothies and tea. Healthy light meals. I ordered an avocado with garlic and egg toastie set for $38. It said it came with a homemade fruit tea.
Well, when it appeared the toastie was actually more like two slices of toasted bread with a very minimal smear of egg mixed with a bit of avocado. It was ok but I guess I was hoping for more avocado. The homemade fruit tea? That was the most surprising of all. It was yuzu tea. Yes, that stuff from a jar where you scoop out a spoonful and mix it with water. "Homemade" is a bit stretching it. The only thing is it was super cheap so I guess I can't say it was so overpriced I felt robbed. I guess I hoped too much as the photo looked completely different. At least the service was friendly. I still won't be back.
