住係WANCHAI有一段時間WC CAFE, CAKESHOP一向唔多.不過新開既 Ginger Bakery 值得一試BREAD 既CHOICE比POMME多~又FRESH~~~~CAKE款岩大眾口味~PRICE 比附近既POMME公道~味道都比POMME好~雖然大家走既STYLE唔同~但將POMME既$係GINGER BAKERY食絕對唔會失望.不過如果想有更高享受當然去SIFT OR ZOE!

星期六看到報紙介紹,剛順路便試一下啦。原來星期一至五才有set lunch,失望。所以點了7件餅帶走。芝士司空餅, 提子司空餅, 藍莓丹麥酥, 肉桂丹麥酥,蘋果金寶撻, 藍莓芝士蛋糕, 焦糖雪芳蛋糕。 司空:外脆內軟。 正丹麥酥: 一般, 沒驚喜。金寶撻:香甜, 不錯。芝士蛋糕:頂層滿藍莓,蛋糕也有藍莓,蛋糕有芝士味,又鬆軟,正。雪芳蛋糕:普通的鬆軟海棉蛋糕,加好脆的焦糖。一試無防。整體來說味道不錯。不過,請服務員哥哥你,唔再好用隻手真接取食物包給客人。好嚇人呀:huffyD蛋糕係有膠紙圍,我也是會用手拿起來吃。但你包蛋糕給客人時,請記緊用餅刀等用具?

所以點了7件餅帶走。
芝士司空餅, 提子司空餅, 藍莓丹麥酥, 肉桂丹麥酥,
蘋果金寶撻, 藍莓芝士蛋糕, 焦糖雪芳蛋糕。

司空:外脆內軟。


丹麥酥: 一般, 沒驚喜。

金寶撻:香甜, 不錯


芝士蛋糕:頂層滿藍莓,蛋糕也有藍莓,蛋糕有芝士味,又鬆軟,
正。

雪芳蛋糕:普通的鬆軟海棉蛋糕,加好脆的焦糖。一試無防。

整體來說味道不錯。

不過,請服務員哥哥你,唔再好用隻手真接取食物包給客人。好嚇人呀:huffy

D蛋糕係有膠紙圍,我也是會用手拿起來吃。但你包蛋糕給客人時,請記緊用餅刀等用具

This one is an exception. It is moist, not too sweet or heavy and very fresh - I really like the walnuts inside, it goods really well together with the carrots - very yummy. Then we tried the Apple Crumble, something I always like. I like the fact that the filling inside is made from layers of apples - really good stuff - too bad they didn't have any ice cream to go with it, else it would be perfect. If you like someting light - the Lemon Tart is a pretty good choice. The staff and service is very friendly and place is quite comfortable. The coffee is pretty good as well, not as bland as the stuff at Starbucks. I will definitely go back to try their croissants, scones, pastries and muffins. The staff told me that is made fresh daily from the kitchen inside.

從我印像中,我只記得我是從三四年前,在Dan Ryan’s Chicago食過之後,就深深愛上了那極甜及極重味道的Carrot Cake,雖然我每次只是嚐少許,但亦使我印象深刻。嚐過這裡的之後,發現店主很細心的調校了甜度,迎合香港人的口味,因為真正的味道只需一口,便使人覺得滯而不吃了。而下層的合核及蘿蔔絲則非常新鮮,整件蛋糕也有少少濕潤,絕對不會有乾巴巴的感覺,配上甜度恰到好處的牛油忌廉,實在美味。

另一件Crunch Cake就一般啦,因為海綿蛋糕質地唔夠軟熟,好硬身,食唔出那股軟淋淋的感覺,雖然海綿蛋糕本身唔夠好,但忌廉做得不錯,有好香的奶味,而且夠企身,當淋上焦糖脆粒之後,味道更好,而且在蛋糕中間的忌廉混有杏仁片,提高了蛋糕的口感,這點值得加分。

這裡除了賣蛋糕鬆餅外,還有set食,pasta或三文治set大約在45-66左右,味道就不太清楚了,下次有機會再去試下。店內都有幾張枱可以給客人坐下慢慢品嚐,環境不過不失啦,但辛勞的工作後,食番一件cake又真係幾寫意的。

由於要去灣仔找朋友,經過這店時,給它的簡單的裝修吸引,加上仲未吃午餐,所以就入去試試這新開的店~~!!!一入去的時候,店內坐位不算多,也不是很大的店~但簡樸的設計也另人十分舒服!!!坐位記得有大約14位左右.....點了一個通粉和一杯野飲~好簡單的通粉,沒有任何的特別,份量也很少,味道OK的,但不明白為何簡單到除了通粉就真係菜都沒有~之後就到飲品了,叫了一杯MOCHA,有拉花喎,而且拉得還不錯的~!!!入口朱古力味很濃和很香,咖啡味就比較輕,帶一點果酸,用來做MOCHA還不錯的~!!!可以想得到如果用來做ESPRESSO應該會有一點花香和果酸的...下次真的要試試~!!總結~~食物和飲品的味道不錯的~!!!但價錢就有點貴了~45元的一個這麼簡單的通粉

,而且拉得還不錯的~!!!
入口朱古力味很濃和很香,咖啡味就比較輕,帶一點果酸,用來做MOCHA還不錯的~!!!
可以想得到如果用來做ESPRESSO應該會有一點花香和果酸的...下次真的要試試~!!


總結~~
食物和飲品的味道不錯的~!!!
但價錢就有點貴了~

I was lookin for food after running some errands today at wanchai. While walking down johnson road, I first got attracted to the super sharp blue arch of this shop and then i got attracted to the cakes. I love cakes and so walkws in to have a try. A very friendly welcome from the pretty owner and was served with sincere attitude. not too pushy, which is good. I ordered my favorite apple crumble and a cup of latte to stop my stomach growling. I ordered my favorite apple crumble and a cup of latte to stop my stomach growling. PRETTY GOOD stuff! I've tried many apple crumbles but this one is really awesome! The latte was ok. haha..

The apple crumble there started me to blogging on openrice. haha.. well, I'll definitely go back to try other cakes from this place.

老闆娘係一位孕婦,另有兩、三位男店員。店員問我要唔要飲品,我唔需要,佢便遞上一杯暖水,服務貼心!


其實,呢度上星期五開,平日以外賣客居多,放工時段亦不失一批堂食食客;反而週末比較多堂食食客。

蛋糕:大致上由 $26 ~ $30 ,另有雲呢拿 cup cake 賣相精美,但要 $22 唔係咁平!

金筍合桃蛋糕 $28
以金筍、合桃、果仁、提子乾為材。頗有新鮮感!而且食得健康!
加入合桃粒 & 果仁粒,增添口感!蛋糕食落軟硬適中,表面用上淡忌廉,減少餾膩感!成件蛋糕唔係好甜,甜味點到即止。

香蕉忌廉撻 $26
其他撻款:檸檬撻及蘋果金寶撻;我覺得賣相最吸引我,非香蕉忌廉撻莫屬!
並非混入香蕉味粉,而係用新鮮香蕉切片,一層香蕉片,一層香蕉忌廉;如是者,共三層香蕉忌廉中夾住兩層香蕉片。最後,師傅小心翼翼唧上忌廉,灑上朱古力片。用咗不少香蕉,真材實料!份量十足!
香蕉味不用多說必定濃郁!香蕉在空氣中,會變黑!難免影響一點賣相。忌廉甜得嚟有點餾!可惜,撻底硬咗些少,而且淡味如麥餅!
我覺得賣相最吸引我,非香蕉忌廉撻莫屬!

無意發現這間新開的小小咖啡店,被玻璃餅櫃內的疍糕所吸引,正當看那貌似新鮮美味的檸檬批時,有位笑容親切的年青人上前招呼及熱情介紹,哦們便進內點了兩杯咖啡及一件檸檬雪芳批,當年青人送來檸檬雪芳批時,很容易看到它的賣相與剛才在餅櫃的很不同,相信是數天前的出品,再用叉惦惦它的忌廉已很硬,批內的雪芳餡也下陷了, 再看看餅櫃內的雪芳批,就肯定它不是出自同一個批,另一碟的香蕉忌廉批,香蕉已便得黑黑了,仍放在櫃內售賣,哦告知年青人,他有點不好意思並即時從餅櫃內送來一件雪芳批,這次滿意了,味道及批底都做得不錯,要知道第一次印象是很重要,價錢還是次要,保持品質及味道是很重要,希望多加注意

今日途經修頓見到間新的咖啡餅店,面門簡約吸引,先看餅櫃~有我喜歡的檸檬撻及蘋果金寶.但看不到有賣咖啡與否;按下自動門鍵.看到一部sanremo 的capri 看來和Bespoke那部一樣.選了件撻,要多杯doppio 靜靜坐下來...不一會,帶小小青檸香的檸檬撻端來慕絲造的幼滑餅底鬆脆.但是調味上...過甜了.等的還是杯咖啡,.......隻杯咁大隻........心中打了個突.啡脂呈現出小小啡紅色有張力簡單的巧克力味帶苦甘大路味道....22蚊,合理價錢. 一問之下原來又是Glory 炒的豆難免似曾相識. 佩服她們在這年頭又開一間店,但熱情可以但生存也不大易....好夠薑喎. 小小不專業提醒: 換咗隻杯佢啦...隻細杯唔夠高搵嘢''浪''高佢啦. 除非真係好平,唔好用隻又假又稀的印尼奶;維記十字好佢好多我都知pura好煩 開張期間好似九折
