I have just tried this Hachiban Ramen recently. I think the soup is quite sweet which matches quite well with the sweet corns and sea weeds. The pork is also quite good. I would say this ramen is normal and in expectaction. Nothing surprising I would say. This dish is not expensive and worth for filling full your stomach.However, I do quite appreciate the helpful waiters which serve us with big smiles on their faces, I would say this is very important for diners to enjoy a meal. continue reading

We went to this place for a quick lunch, so went for two set lunch with drinks provided. My drink is a lemon water, which does come as sliced lemon + hot water and this charged $5 on top of the set lunch. What more ridiculous is my friend was charged $5 on top as he ordered a 7up instead of a pepsi Otherwise, the noodle is so so, a bit better than instant noodle, soup is salty, with loads vegie but only one paper thin cha-sew... Very disappointed, no wonder there is few people even on a bank holiday. continue reading

一個人, 很多時都會食拉面, 因為拉面店單人一排的位置很好, 不會感到寂寞.今天去了這間拉面店, 沒有一排對拉面師傅的位, 有點驚訝.吃了lunch set, $65 有八番拉面和餃子. 我沒有點飲品, 他們給了熱茶, 很好!面的硬度剛好, 湯是豚骨的, 不是太濃, 沒有膠狀的感覺. 不錯! 這款拉面只有一塊豚肉, 半肥瘦的, 剛合我口味, 而且有咸的味, 不錯!面有很多配菜, 很健康! 吃完也不是太油膩. 餃子也是我喜愛的大阪王將味道, 十分好! continue reading

香港的日本拉麵文化, 不知道甚麼時候開始被化? 要濃濃的膠質湯底才能稱稱霸, 個個都趨之若鶩, 是真心好味? 這裡的麵沒有軟硬選擇, 沒有膠質湯底. 只有它本身應有的味道. 我要了一客8番拉面, 我點的是鹽味湯底, 為的就是不想這麼油, 但今天寫食評才發現是吃了 難怪那天的湯底那麼油膩, 我當天還一直納悶著. 麵是寬條的, 不硬不軟, 剛好合適, 我這碗拉麵配著一大堆菜, 菜很新鮮, 這個很不錯, 吃到椰菜是脆中帶甜, 好吃. 但相信是炒過才放在麵上的, 所以還是有不少的油. 而我一向對日本的叉燒都沒有好感, 給我老公吃了, 所以不評論了. 溏心蛋$10 , 價格算是公道的溏心蛋, 蛋黃香, 蛋液黏, 稍為有點涼了, 只是味帶酸甜, 好奇怪.泡菜: 沒有泡菜應有的發酵酸味, 是一點酸味都沒有, 也不辣, 也不鹹, 是自家製的嘛? 8番極黑醬油野菜拉面, 老公說一般, 他是不是給豚化了呢? continue reading
