We had a hard time finding the location of this place. The staff from a few shops down told us that it shut down!!!! But in the end we found it. It was a Sunday arvo but it was no crowded as some of you described. We went in and saw many staff standing around. They served us cold tea and gave us the menu.My bf's first reaction was the price!! Very expensive as some of you described! The drinks were not listed on the menu and we ordered a shio butter ramen, and a gyoza ramen set. And also 1 sprit
My bf's first reaction was the price!! Very expensive as some of you described! The drinks were not listed on the menu and we ordered a shio butter ramen, and a gyoza ramen set. And also 1 sprite. The sprite came in a beer mug with alot of ice....not happy....
With the food, yes it did look good..but the taste is only so so. The soup base is quite salty..both the shio and the miso. We had to drink heaps of water afterwards. The chashu was not tender or juicy...I dunno y so many thinks it's like the best ramen in Hk. Seriously you have to go the ramen place in yaumatei.
Serving size was ok but is not worth the price. We ended up paying $176 for 2 ppl for lunch....the drink full was ice was $16 or $20?? I cant remember...but it is quite expensive. I don't think we would purposely drive there again as I've tasted better ramen in Japan and elsewhere.
