To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. Ordered shredded pork fried noodles, sweet and spicy pork neck fried instand noodles, roasted pork, kaya polo-bun, iced coffee and hot ribena with lemon.
To our surprise, after the drinks are being served, the kaya polo-bun was served first. Weird, because this is supposed to be the desserts (sweet). We didn't start eating but decided to wait for the mains to come. Minutes laters, all other food was served.
The sweet and spicy pork neck fried instant noodles was good (instant noodles always the safest choice), not spicy, overall was ok, just a little too salty and oily. But the shredded pork fried noodles was not good all. It was starch gravy with some shredded pork and veges poured over oil-fried noodles. The gravy was plain and little, not enough to cover the noodles. Luckily, they provide some chilli sauce to go with it. Otherwise, the whole dish was pretty much tasteless. I didn't finish the dish because it was plain and dry.
The roasted pork was fine - average, not bad but nothing fanstatic to be mentioned. As for the kaya polo-bun, I didn't taste any kaya in it but found some pineapples cubes. Felt weird too, based on my understanding of polo-bun, it actually doesn't have any pineapple ingredients. It was called polo-bun aka pineapple bun in chinese (菠蘿包) for its golden yellow, bumped surface which looks like pineapple. Thus, I am not too sure if this restaurant is trying to be different by adding pineapple cubes in it.
As a whole, it was quite a pricey lunch for such kind of food standard. We didn't enjoy the food especially the shredded pork fried noodles which was pretty much tasteless. Other than that, environment was alright and its service was just fine (they are not charging service charges/tax, so, can't complain much).

服務不殷勤不周到,目無表情無笑容,食都食得唔開胃啦,有待改善,再培訓 ﹗
午餐肉唔夠熱既,只微暖,所以特別咸囉,雖則預左係煎定。太陽蛋屬靚貨,深橙黃色蛋黃,香濃蛋黃味,正。牛油餐包,夠軟墊,ok 啦,不過牛油少啲囉,咪咁孤寒啦。
琴日朝、前日朝都係係度食同一個沙嗲牛出前一丁跟太陽蛋,只係塊肉轉一轉啫。今日超水準既沙嗲牛肉出前一丁,為之驚嘆 ﹗一食落口就知道牛肉係新鮮製造,唔係乾增增有死屍味既隔夜貨、唔係鞋烚烚黑蚊蚊既罐頭貨,嫰滑味鮮。沙嗲汁打得濃厚適中,味道香甜,不咸不膩,色澤鮮明吸引。價錢貴少少,但絕對物有所值,讚 ﹗令我想起尖咀家家樂即叫即製沙嗲滑牛,當然依度唔係家家樂嗰皮啦,還差百倍 ﹗
都算是吃勻香港很多好吃的乾炒牛河,也專誠來試試這裡的。一人來,只點一味,吃完就走,簡單快捷。
牛河是即炒的,熱辣辣。但看河粉疊在一起的,明顯炒得不夠透,火侯很一般。牛肉非常非常滑身,其口感適合老人家。但吃完碟底有攤油,後生仔才會頂得住。
如果大家樂即炒的有50分,這裡的有60分,但何洪記的是88分。
非常明顯。
不記得確實價錢,好似是四十幾蚊。

*原本食物,環境及價錢都係中中地,可以說是一個「ok面」。但是日服務真的差到無倫,我一個人搞了好幾轉都未安排到坐得底,叫落單又越叫越走。服務一欄比平常差,咁就一個唔該拿了個「凄涼面」。

There was a great flow of people flushing in and out of the expo at 2pm, so there was a short queue in front of the restaurant. Upon arriving the restaurant, I immediately spotted the pastry window display and had my time in choosing between Pineapple Bun and Chicken Pie.....Chicken Pie won at last. The Chicken Pie had the perfect look - golden brown crust. I hold no resistance in golden brown pastry, they are simply a work of art. The pie crust was slightly sweet in taste and was quite light on the palette. The chicken cream filling wasn't that tasteful as I thought it would be. I haven't had Chicken Pie for a while so I could not make any comparison. I need to try the famous one in golden fung and several other Chaa Chan Tengs before I could draw any valid conclusion.

聽見知心食友來過後的評價說只是一般, 真的有點可惜: 攪到再過兩日再想來 HOFEX 時到仿這間的興致立刻大減了. 當然上次來食的時候其實正正係去 Openrice 滿福樓的同一天, 因為餓到等唔到開飯.

這次的乾炒牛河, 評價如下. 但店方以後, 真的再做不到這水準麻?
- 河粉是比較透明同薄身的那種, 同何洪記及正斗系, 或香港大牌檔是同一樣. 今次如看相般, 抄得條條分明, 沒有很多地方癡埋一 pat 的弊端.
- 再看河粉, 明顯地顏色是靚的也有 Caramelised 豉油味道, 但不怕炒燶咗時才有的苦. 看相也見到比較起其他地方食的乾炒牛河確是少油. (但食友說, 他的那碟多了些油. )
- 牛肉也輕易地看得出同食得到, 不怕梳打到發了脹變到白白的那種. 算有水準, 但還不及 '何洪'系. (但食友食的好像是有點太過 sodarized?).
-鑊氣也很夠, 聞也聞得到!

下次黎的時候, 也希望店舖盡可能 keep 到在一個高點的水平. $48, 話平唔平, 話貴唔算貴. 好食的我付多點也沒所謂. 去何洪系, 都最少要 $67 - $75 or $85. 我也照去了, 無辦法. 其他人不能次次做到這高水平.

由入去至到自己搵位,都無服務員招呼,D服務員好似唔想做咁...
仲有响茶餐廳內也沒有多少客人,但招手多次才有人幫我哋落單...
Take order & 送嘢食到埋枱的兩個服務員都黑口黑面,其實果刻大部服務員都黑口黑面 ,唔知仲以為佢幫緊老板趕客添...
講返嘢食,我同朋友叫了兩個芫茜鯇魚片魚湯米線餐 + 油菜
D嘢食都幾令人失望,個湯底好淡;仲有好少量芫茜就咁放在湯面,所以一D芫茜味都無,但係連鯇魚片都無味,米線又淋過頭...
仲有,餐廳環境本來OK,但係越坐越熱(無冷氣),令人流汗 , 唔知會唔會係息細冷氣幫老板趕客...
總括,食品唔得,服務更失望至極,好似要受氣咁...
餐廳老板啞 ! 客人係要俾錢架食嘢! 咁既樣! 好難有下次...
咖哩雞飯: 雞無骨, 好滑, 雖未至於入味, 但至少無雪味~ 咖喱汁好濃郁, 偏重椰汁味, 濃稠度剛剛好, 食到d一絲絲的洋蔥, 唯一缺點就係無薯仔, 如果可以加d薯仔就好了!
牛尾羅宋通粉: 名不虛傳~ 好足料, 牛尾蕃茄洋蔥西芹紅蘿蔔...通粉滑嘟嘟, 蕃茄湯味道幾鮮甜~很多蕃茄肉~!
白灼芥蘭: 加了蠔油, 質素不俗, 翠綠新鮮無渣~
奶茶: 凍熱都不俗, 但我還是喜歡熱奶茶多D~ 幾香滑~
侍應服務態度也不俗, 笑咪咪的, 偶然會掛住傾計見唔到客人揮手叫佢哋~ 不過總括來說都幾滿意~

沒有期望過會很好吃,湯底當然不是很香濃的冬蔭功湯,但味道尚可,但明顯兩碗湯底的濃度有差別,一碗較淡,一碗較辣,內裡有三四片豬頸肉,我覺得ok,但有同事說很大陣雪藏味。
侍應沒甚麼精神,木口木面,很機械化,果然是茶餐廳!
