I had been recommended this restaurant from my Indian mate, so obviously it must be good. I arranged our monthly work curry night on a Friday evening for 7 persons. In fact the restaurant is in the same group of restaurants as Woodlands which does massive delicious dosas. The great thing about having a large group here is that they have a massive table in the corner that caters for at least 8 persons. For starters we ordered the Samosa, Pani Puri, Tandoori Chicken and a Tandoori Mixed grill.
The great thing about having a large group here is that they have a massive table in the corner that caters for at least 8 persons.
For starters we ordered the Samosa, Pani Puri, Tandoori Chicken and a Tandoori Mixed grill. Each dish was absolutely spot on and delicious. The Samosa were crispy on the outside and the Pani puri which you pour in the sweet spicy sauce from shooter glass went well with the bottles of King Fisher beers we downed.
The Tandoori grilled meats were moist and packed full of flavour.
The curries were all good, we ordered a lamb vindaloo, butter chicken, lamb Rogan Josh, chicken saagwala, daal makhani.
Special mention to the lamb vindaloo which was spicy but not over powering so that we could still savour the taste of the lamb curry and there was no after burn like other vindaloos.
The garlic naan, onion kulcha and Lacha paratha breads were all awesome.
Great venue, spacious, good service and good number of toilets and great value for money!
