在大埔求其食LUNCH,都無咩要求.見到有間酒吧,就入去碰碰運$58蚊就有扒食,相信會係港式風格吧,但一場來到就試一試,加$20仲有半PINT 生啤南瓜湯既南瓜味中等,帶少少忌簾味,都算滑.起馬唔太咸,最怕飲到茶記風味餐湯雖然價錢便宜,但食物就份量好足,約6安士既牛扒,加粗粗薯條和沙律菜,一定食得夠飽.牛扒既質素當然不高,略為硬一點,但化學感不算強,加上薯肉充足既粗粗薯,食得滿足.沙律菜用甜紅酒醋伴食,開胃.加上凍冰冰啤酒,埋單78蚊加1,都幾寫意

係附近停車落到黎就見到 kings belly 開左,那就來個西式早午餐吧。同夜晚比明顯少好多人,感覺更自在。本身想叫 egg Benedict 但今日冇,所以點左成日食既 fish n chips fish 略油,落刀啲油出晒黎,好彩叫左檸茶中和下油膩感,薯條炸得好脆同干身。banger and dash, 腸同薯蓉配個似黑椒汁冇左黑椒既汁,not bad, 起碼腸好食過 simply life 個啲。周末出黎食下野順便減壓,做其他野都順利啲。

咁快兩年無黎過喇,夜深探訪,雖然只係零晨點半鐘,但我已經好醉喇,飲埋依杯就歸家休息,Strawberry magarita,依杯 magarita 堅好飲喎,味道好清香噃。細問之下,原來係用新鮮士多啤梨打成砂冰做架,所以跟用糖水、果汁完全唔同味,非常 fresh!又唔會太甜,再帶點酒香,賣相唔洗講啦,火紅鮮艷,very good!

總括今次黎,野飲同野食都一讚,特別係個女仔整既cocktail,值得再試!!飲到咁上下,個女仔仲問我們岩唔岩口味,叫我地比返d意見佢,好nice.....但係waiter 既服務有待改善.有時叫幾次都聽唔到.,可以個個都做到個女仔咁細心就好...

個粉到的時候..咦?條魚柳呢?

跟住侍應就同我講,提提我啡啡地個條叫魚的東西好鹹,唔好一啖就食左佢。講完佢見我個樣仲有D唔明,就同我講,其實呢條啡啡地色的物體就係叫做銀魚柳,係西人的鹹魚咁話。

坐我對面個同事搭嘴話,你唔知咩?原來只係我見識少。

個粉味道唔錯,蕃茄係新鮮蕃茄!最後杯凍朱古力仲好鬼正。

唯一係個湯鹹左少少。

侍應講MENU每個星期都會轉,而且仲有FB,等我下個星期點睇下先!

總結:食物中上,員工有禮,仲學到野。

這個星期天,我再次回到這個我以前寫過地方。我是不檢查他們的改進,但我只是大雨卡住了。所以我勉強地再走入去。這打開了我另一個食物死亡體驗。OK,談食品,我選擇了Sunday roast菜單。當然是沒有,有牛排,肋Sunday roast的。我從菜單選擇了豆湯,安格斯牛排,新鮮水果加酸奶和咖啡。豆湯 - 味道合理,感覺就像添加太多豆粉/澱粉在湯安格斯牛排 - 完全不medium rare,有近1/ 3的脂肪在牛排裡面,同時又乾又冇味,都吾知食緊什麼肉。水果與酸奶 - 太甜蜜和酸奶嚐到粒狀咖啡 - 這是全餐最好的上述食品加一杯白酒謝謝 HKD$180大元

前身為 After 5 第二舖,依家都轉左手同改名為 King's Belly ~ 原來其中個新老闆係小學同學,世界真係細 ~ 轉手後,內籠略略執過,但都無咩大改動 ~ 食物、環境同服務大致上還可以啦 ~廚師朋友仔誠要我到訪試菜,我當然義不容遲到喇 ~ 但不幸地昨晚生意太好,大部份食材已沽清,所以今次由廚師朋友發牌,有咩好野就攞出黎啦 ~香辣蜆肉炒意粉,另外有香草及洋蔥調味。意粉煮得剛好,乾身無過腍,唔錯。個人偏好食意粉類八成熟,會更嚥靭及更有口感。蜆肉無煮過火,仍有水份及彈牙感,都唔錯。味道微辣、洋蔥亦煮得夠熟,帶出甜味,配起黎夠醒胃,good。安格斯西冷配紅酒汁跟薯菜,脆肉瓜略烤還可以,但係茄子烤既時間要耐好多,真係太生喇,唔夠熟,又乾又實又有草青味,不合格,再切薄一點會更易處理。西冷既厚度比我開既厚,會唔會係廚師哥哥特意加碼比我呢?邊位既脂肪煎得香脆,已帶出濃郁既香味同味道,先係中間切開,見到原來廚師哥哥發牌給我食八成熟,沒問題,就試一試,我一般食三成熟。肉質算鮮嫰,仍有點點肉汁,有好濃郁牛味,加個味道剛好既紅酒汁,不會太咸而蓋過牛本身既肉味,配合得宜,滿意。
