Booked a table for friday night and was quite surprised with there is no line up when we get there. Got seated after a 10 min wait and we ordered quite a bit:
-Fried Tofu-Eel - keeping the standard, came out hot and crispy. The bold taste of eel balanced out the the mild taste of tofu.
-Pumpkin Salad - usually my fave but it arrived late, so I was very full and got no more appetite to enjoy it.
-Soft Shell Crab Sushi - sushi is not their best category on their menu, average only.
-Ox Tongue Skewer - YUM!
-Fish Pot Soup w/ Udon - for people like me who like fresh vegie taste this dish is superb, but if you are meat lover, this is a very very mild tasteless dish
-Fried "Wai Shan" - which again if you are vegie lover like me, I can finish the dish myself; if not, you might not like the Chinese medicine tatste of it.
In general, the dishes have remained their standards from their old location. However, there is something missing when it's not sited at this new one. I believe it's the coziness, the croweded seatings, the staircases that made me looked more forwarding to their food. Yet I will enjoy dining @ Koheitsu, a true delight at CWB.
