今天陪Honey面試,面試後,放鬆心情,竟然不想大吃大喝,想吃清淡的,所以,到廣記吃粥。已不是第一次光顧廣記,喜歡這裡的「純淨」,沒有新花款粥品,只有碎牛肉、艇仔、魚片……最傳統的,我喜歡!白粥,不是有味粥底。腸粉很滑。油炸鬼非常脆,新鮮炸,不油膩。(形容好「行」……正正就是傳統)雖然是舊式粥店,但地方乾淨,老闆和老闆娘友善,很有人情味。自1949開業,仍舊經營著,真難得!

因為流感嚟到大埔睇中醫,睇完食清啲所以揾間粥店食吓,見到搭車位對面有間粥店,於是入去試吓,外面睇門面係間老店舖,入到去地方大,人唔太多,餐牌上有粥有飯有炒麵等,都幾多元化,我雖然想食清啲,但見到有炒河,忍唔住就叫咗叉燒炒河,跟杯嘢飲都係$40,另外再叫咗碗 芋頭南瓜 排骨粥 同埋豬膶腸粉,直得一讚就係豬膶腸粉,整得相當好食,由於太心急食所以唔記得影相。而其他就一般,而炒河都幾油吓,食完都好濟吓。

這間粥店是老字號,歷史悠久,雖然門面不太起眼,進去卻是另一世界。一踏入店舖,就已經感受到濃厚嘅人情味,餐廳不斷播放懷舊金曲。場內佈置一點都不現代化,尤其是周圍的經典海報。當中有海報十分有趣,反映店主嘅幽默感。店員都是老街坊,感覺好親切。有點意外係,水吧是自助的,如果要飲冷、熱水,要自己搞掂,感覺好有街坊feel。食物方面,食物種類及味道十分簡單,沒有花巧,價錢十分親民。這間餐廳不是米之蓮食府,所以不適合追求味道高層次的食客。

早上約了在附近的客戶,時辰未到,前一晚又睡的不好,肚子特別空虛,腦海就想著食食食……厭棄又是茶記的豬牛雞扒早餐,乾脆來個中式的吧。叫了很多飽肚之選:有裹蒸粽、炒米粉和煎蘿蔔糕。裹蒸粽內有不少的餡,豬肉很腍很入味,是一絲絲的,粽子甜糯,淋上一些豉油極其美味。炒米粉不是很多料,卻亦乾身,有咬口。煎蘿蔔糕裡是吃到蘿蔔絲的,入口並非只有齋粉,而且煎得微焦的兩面特別香口。全部食物都是熱騰騰的,配以一杯凍豆漿,完全是絕襯。這就是小人的早晨全餐。
