想吃西貢咖哩,幾款之中如何選擇好呢?心大心細,最後還是揀了牛腩,因為總覺兩者最夾。咖哩牛腩鍋($88)明火送上,店員表示如此安排只為保溫,其實菜式早已煮熟,因此無需等候便可即時品嚐。咖哩菜式可配法式麵包($30)、蒜蓉包($35)、薄餅($35)或白飯($15),小妹就點了蒜蓉包。

牛腩肉質鬆化,只需輕嚼便散開;連著筋膜的位置有咬口,特別美味。鍋內有數片牛筋,炆得腍軟,入口即化,啖啖都是骨膠原。咖哩沒有調得太杰,散發濃郁的椰子香,完全不辣。除了肉類,洋蔥薯仔同樣吸收了咖哩精華,又能為菜式添滋味。利用脆卜卜的蒜蓉包索盡咖哩,何其盡興。

作為一名海鮮粉絲,看見餐牌上的湄公河大頭蝦($158),不禁兩眼發光。細問之下,得知餐廳會以蒜蓉牛油焗製,啱晒何車。成品以小鐵鑊盛載,並配以少許沙律菜大頭蝦經開邊處理,件頭十足,只要用叉㓤著一邊,便能輕易起肉。潔白的蝦肉沒預期般結實,連帶的蝦膏挺香,只嫌蒜頭味偏重。

餐廳供應的飲品五花八門,除了店家推介的新鮮椰青($38)及越南滴漏咖啡($35),還有各式沙冰特飲酒類等。不過今天落雨濕濕,還是點杯熱飲較為妥當。杞子龍眼蜜($28)用料豐富,味道自然,甜度適中,具明目安神的作用。至於雪梨蘆薈蜜($28)入口順喉,生津滋養,相信女生特別喜愛。

晚上七點去到都算幾早,所以唔使等位。環境都尚算闊絡,侍應態度好好,好好笑容,仲好識氹小朋友XD。言歸正傳,講返食物質素方面,大致上都唔錯,整體味道唔會太搶,太重口味。叫咗個軟殼蟹米紙卷做前菜,米紙卷非常足料,軟殼蟹加埋青瓜口感鬆脆,味道不錯。芝麻雞份量都多,口感鮮滑,不過略嫌未夠熟,入面仲係有少少紅。串燒有雞、牛、豬頸肉,全部都好入味,不過豬頸肉有些少韌。至於青口椰香飯嚟講,青口味道正正常常,唔會太鹹,椰香汁同炒飯好夾,味道好好,甜而不膩。甜品叫咗芒果椰汁黑糯米,份量適中,酸酸甜甜味道不錯。龍眼茶清甜暖胃。總括嚟講,菜式價格稍高,不過有良好嘅環境,食物質素同服務搭救,值得一試。

主菜點了品越燒乳豬 ($188),乳豬用木砧板盛上,分量不大,只有 1/4 隻,三個人 Share 來吃啱啱好。叉起一件試試,乳豬外皮很薄,入口脆卜卜,脆皮下是薄薄一層脂肪,下層則是肉質纖維幼細的豬肉。乳豬件不太肥亦不太瘦,入口肉汁豐盈,有豬肉的甘香。

腐乳豬頸肉炒芥蘭 ($82),芥蘭用砂鍋呈上,色澤油亮碧綠。廚師手勢唔錯,芥蘭炒得好夠鑊氣,食落既爽口又唔硬身,清甜不苦澀。豬頸肉亦很有水準,肉質爽脆有口感,唯一就是稍嫌整道菜略欠腐乳那股沉鬱的霉香,否則食味更佳。

又到甜品時間,本來以為越南餐廳,甜品一定離不開椰漿類,估唔到餐牌上竟然有精選蛋糕、法式焦糖燉蛋同即製窩夫等供應。見即製窩夫 ($48)  賣相非常特別,外形好似一個 Donut,所以決定點來一試。窩夫一客 2 件,配有雪糕,另外客人亦可以自選兩款配料,包括有紅豆、煉奶同忌廉可供選擇。如果想加多一球雪糕,就要另 +$15。窩夫上桌時仍熱辣辣,面頭灑上糖霜及朱古力漿,香味撲鼻,賣相可人,又的確幾討人歡心。切開一試,窩夫外層非常脆身,內裡鬆軟綿密,帶微微蛋香。窩夫配有蜜糖雪糕,另外亦追加咗一份乳酪雪糕 (+$15),雪糕味道比一般乳酪甜,質感幼滑又清香,夾埋紅豆、忌廉同窩夫一起吃,非常飽足,大家記得一定要留肚品嘗。

極品牛小排湯河粉($108)

薄切生牛肉片另上,先放在河粉上面,然後服務員再澆上牛肉滾湯,灼熟牛肉片,而客人亦可按喜好加入洋蔥絲、蔥花或九層塔,一碗河粉足以分成4碗,都不過$110左右,很划算,河粉泡浸過牛肉湯後,味道更豐富,真心推介。
