We ordered the Pollock Fish n Chips, Crab Linguini and Half Grilled Lobster. For dessert we didn’t have a choice since they ran out of the Matcha Green Tart so we had to get the Lemon Tart.
When the starters came it was placed in a very cute fish bowl going with the theme of the restaurant but it was for sure the smallest potion of soup I’ve ever seen; it was less than a third of the bowl. If it wasn’t because of the overwhelming taste of pepper, the soup would’ve tasted amazing. Onwards to the next starter, the salad was alright. It was a salad so I’m sure nothing could’ve gone wrong.
When the mains came they were disappointing. The Half Grilled Lobster was overly small almost the size of a crayfish or maybe literally that size. Anyways besides the size of it, it was overcooked and not fresh, the meat was stuck to the shell and the color of it was off. The plate were mostly fries too and a small salad. The 2nd main, Pollock Fish and Chips were alright, it was one piece of fish with half of the plate fries like the lobster one. For the least offensive dish, the Crab Linguini, it was in my opinion quite tasty but also have a rare almost unseeable amount of crab in it mostly just the tomatoes.
To end this disappointing meal with an even disappointing ending was the dessert. The Lemon Tart. Each of us got the smallest cut of tart imaginable. It was almost comical. Overall these dishes were not worth the $198 price tag. Would never come here again. Imagine a place called “Lobster Shack” serving unfresh overcooked lobster in the smallest size imaginable with the biggest price tag.
