同朋友食LUNCH叫左1個X燒鵝肝飯,1個牛河,1隻乳鴿個飯就有6件X燒左右加塊鵝肝,X燒普通料味道正常,但鵝肝整得幾好,外脆內軟,也不過熟,內裡油分十足.但係D醬汁可以多D,因為個白飯係要多D野來撈下,雖然有隻蛋牛河就是瑞士汁牛河,炒得十分均勻,不油,味道帶甜,幾好,加埋少少辣醬更惹味乳鴿也是用番瑞士汁整吧,甜甜地,皮和肉也十分滑!質素幾好,COVER了雪味雖然貴左少少,但係質素幾好!

請不要誤會,六十年代我未出世的,我對六十年代的認知,都是由書本、圖片、電影及電視劇,再加父母的描述,王家衛的一系列電影如阿飛正傳、花樣年華及2046,也確實令我對這年代有更深刻印象。

看餐牌,發現有一個渣打/Manhattan 信用咭的$398五道菜之二人套餐,就選了這個。

幾軟滑,總算令套餐挽回一些分數

整體而言,食物質素只算中等,來佬其實是賣氣氛的,間中來感受一下懷舊風情,也是不錯的,下次或者考慮梳個蛋橽頭,約蘇麗珍去吃。

My friend and I webt to Central for a quick lunch and decided to try loyal dining for the first time. Surprisingly there was no wait at around 12:30. Like i always like to observe first is the restaurants' ambiance. Loyal Is more westernized old style hong kong feel. The tables were lay out pretty close to each other, but luckily the mouse level was bearable because the table next to us had one person. We opted for the lunch set, which range from $90-$110. My friend and I both decided to go with the dim sum sets. there are three different set choices for dim sum, so we each picked out a different set.

Each set came with 3 types of dim sum, a choice of noodle or rice and then a drink(coffee or tea)

For my set, I got noodles, spinach steamed dumpling, Siu mai, and shrimp dumplings (each came with 2 pieces) , and a milk tea. The dim sum was actually better than I expected. My favorite has to be the spinach dumpling. The spinach was flavored perfectly and the wrapping wasn't over cooked and soggy. As for the noodle, it wasn't anything extraordinary but it was good enough that I finished the big bowl. the worst out of everything was the milk tea. Defintely put way too much milk in it. Overall, I love the portion of the meal, it had enough variety to keep me satisdied. I think I will come back to try their other dishes( the baked dishes looked good). Also, for the quick service, I would come back when I crave for some dim sum for lunch.

The restaurant is expensive and charge additional HK$3 for a glass of iced tea !There is not much choice, the waiter asked you several times to order drink and it is annoying.We ordered a set for two HK$298, soups + swiss sauce chicken wing + baked pork chop rice + drinks.The baked pork chop is ok but the swiss sauce chicken wing not so attractive, i think the restaurant is good for tourist only.

深色仿雨花大理石的桌面免去油膩膩的苦惱,顯得乾淨舒服,點心放題平日裡$88一位加15蚊的茶錢以及加一,任食餐紙上的點新2小時,這個價錢絕對有競爭力;點心供應方面雖說以懷舊點心為賣點,但其實並無太多正宗的懷舊款,有的大多也是平日裡斯通見慣的品種,共有6大類別(來佬推薦,懷舊點心,湯,精美點心,粥麵飯,甜品)一共30多個選擇,餐紙中英印刷,也是在中環做生意必備的。

點上一壺茉莉,餐具與餐廳風格一樣充滿懷舊風卻不失禮,茉莉茶花香一般,帶著微微的甘,要價15一位的茶茗錢有些貴了;從前食點心從來沒試過點一碗湯,是次看到餐紙上的中式湯標明無味精便點上一小碗來墊墊胃;細細碗的分量可讓人淺嘗又不浪費,整晚湯色澤清潤,是普通的蘿蔔瘦肉湯,紅蘿蔔以及白蘿蔔都煮到幾乎化掉入口軟綿,瘦肉也燉到散落成小塊,入口倒不至於太過乾癟,個人建議只飲湯即可,湯汁不是濃稠的那種,無味精的健康湯飲起來有蘿蔔的甜味,口味頗清,是清怡之選。

來佬推薦的蟹籽鳳眼餃、來佬菠菜餃,前者十分出色,晶瑩蒸餃皮雖有些厚了但卻煙韌軟糯,上層的橘色蟹籽配著幾絲蘿蔔絲顏色清新,整個造型也有鳳眼的影子,蟹籽味不濃但鮮蝦卻極為彈牙,爽彈蝦肉于口中不斷彈跳間不覺一點粘膩的油感;後者綠油油餃子皮更帶有半透明的餃子邊很是好看,餃皮也算是煙韌可惜咬開后裏面蒸到軟化的菠菜葉不但沒什麼菠菜味“藕斷絲連”的口感也讓人吃的不舒暢,自己對於煮爛的蔬菜一向都不太有好感。

蠔皇叉燒包、奶黃包以件來記很適合一人來食的顧客,但包子個頭卻不小!很喜歡蠔皇叉燒包,以深紅蠔油醬來蜜汁的叉燒餡與出面常吃到的叉燒包有些不同,深醬色的叉燒汁甜度大大降低,帶有濃濃的鮮咸蠔油味,更贊的是叉燒塊塊精瘦不帶肥膩,且每一塊都有木有樣一點不含糊,每一口都吃得到一兩片稍有厚度的叉燒肉片,肉質緊實啖啖,叉燒餡的量也算不少勾芡也適中,不過濕也不過稠,叉燒包的麵皮甜度亦不高,蒸的軟綿,那日好似encore了幾次!奶黃包則表現平平,個頭稍小的包子麵皮稍有些厚,趁熱吃奶黃香滑,甜度適中,若是?了吃裏面的奶黃餡就會結成幹幹的一團,口味大大影響。

飲口茶,四處“打打樣”,便開始第二輪較為密集的掃蕩~

脆皮鮮蝦春捲,春捲不是我的菜(總覺得春捲很油),是日也點來試,一件春捲切成兩段細細份很細心,外皮薄且炸得外脆內軟,油分少內層吸收少少肉汁,店家會配送兩款不同醬汁(那日不知為何,店家沒給我醬汁,我也稀裡糊塗的吃完才想起來~)原味鮮蝦春捲口味偏淡(所以需要點醬啊!)秉承先前印象頗好的鳳眼餃,以爽彈鮮甜的鮮蝦來填充,可一試。

生煎鍋貼,點一份上海特色點心,本以為是一隻生煎包配一隻鍋貼餃子的組合,不料上桌?只有一隻鍋貼有些意外;鮮肉鍋貼麻麻地,外皮不夠薄且缺少水分,餃底又煎的不夠焦,口味有些似台灣或是日式煎餃,偏軟嫩而非上海鍋貼的那種焦氣重,鮮肉大大粒調味一般,稍有些汁。

沖著懷舊點心而來的我卻被告知鵪鶉蛋燒賣沒得吃,好失望!只能點傳統點心拍檔,蝦籽燒賣皇以及水晶鮮蝦餃;兩款點心都不是現點現蒸,上桌時已?了半截外皮也皺縮乾癟,蝦餃皮太厚,粘粘的不夠晶瑩,鮮蝦挽回不少分數,可見來佬的鮮蝦品質keep得不錯;燒賣,大彈特彈!蝦籽顏色怪怪地,整個燒賣看上去就不新鮮,豬肉肥膩口感乾硬,缺乏啖啖彈性。

古法蒸馬拉糕,看不出有什?古法的特色,水準也在普通之下,馬拉糕奶香欠缺,蒸的時間也控制的不好,水氣滲透到糕身中,面層吃起來過分濕軟彈性大打折扣,而中心蜂窩狀的糕身又太乾,令人再次失望。

豉油皇煎腸粉,以碟計算的煎腸粉分量不少,吃了一口便後悔萬分,那日免不了要浪費的一道食物;腸粉根本就沒入味吃不到點點豉油醬香,淡淡無味,上桌亦是微涼的溫度,腸粉本身也不夠滑且麵皮過厚有些滯,總總使得腸粉難以入口。

懷舊點心中可算是真正懷舊的除了吃不到的鵪鶉蛋燒賣之外只有雞球大包,大小猶如一個小拳頭一般撐滿一竹籠,大包麵皮用上微甜麵粉,蒸的軟綿,甜度比起先前叉燒包的麵皮高一些;雞球(雞丁)、蘑菇、蝦肉、菜絲以一比一的比例組合成豐富包餡,蝦肉爽彈雞肉滑嫩,蘑菇更是多汁鮮甜,與外面甜甜的包子對比明顯,一咸一甜很是好味!只是分量太大,只能吃一個啦~

荷香珍珠雞,大彈特彈第二彈!感覺餐廳沒有用心做這道點心,揭開氾黃破爛的荷葉是一團鬆散的糯米白飯團,荷葉香談不上,珍珠雞更是談不上,用筷子將糯米飯從中間分開本是?了拍照,沒想到竟然“攔腰截斷”都不見雞肉蹤影,無奈再多分幾段最終只在接近兩頭的位置找到小到連尾指都不及的雞肉絲!!!這哪是珍珠雞啊,這明明就是荷葉包飯么!也罷,嘗一口糯米,無味、油膩、軟爛無嚼勁。。。我又要浪費食物了(罪惡)

蜜味叉燒腸粉(3件),後悔自己沒有特別注明1/3,上桌真是大大大三條腸粉,腸粉皮晶瑩薄透,有拉腸的糯與粘,不過個人還是喜歡滑溜溜的齋腸多一些,包著片片真實叉燒與先前叉燒包如出一轍,另有少量菜絲夾入,蜜汁相信也是用蠔油醬的加入,有淡淡鮮咸的蠔味,可惜醬汁過咸了,有些接受唔道。

陳皮鮮竹牛肉球,大個牛肉球看得人彈眼落睛,再次後悔沒有寫上1/2的特別標注!牛肉球吃起來口感豐富,除了牛肉餡的不過分散軟有彈性亦有粒粒爽脆的馬蹄粒增添爽爽之感,陳皮味與牛肉味就欠缺了,調味有些淡,幸好不算太油膩。

豉汁花生鳳爪,傳統鳳爪來佬的水準可算中上;剛剛蒸出的鳳爪熱辣辣的入味十分,鳳爪蒸的軟熟輕輕一允充滿膠質的鳳爪肉便與骨分離,豉汁略粘稠,調味較甜;花生煮的酥軟,雖沒了花生味但也沾上些淡淡豉汁醬香,是不錯的小食。

甜品除了奶黃包之外還有桂花糕以及兩款糖水,個人覺得甜品水準都算OK;陳皮紅豆沙雖是細細碗,卻是滿滿一碗紅豆,質地較稀的紅豆沙甜度不小,陳皮味濃,起沙不夠,但紅豆多到讓人吃到飽!桂花糕,涼涼的十分清新,每一啖滑嘟嘟的桂花糕桂花香濃伴著甜滋滋的口味,更吃得到絲絲桂花花瓣以及杞子,用料十足。精美糖水,是日提供的是椰汁西米露,熱騰騰的西米露椰香豐富,質地潤滑不稠不膩,甜度適中,唯一缺點就是西米露沒了該有的粒粒口感,含在嘴裡瞬間就化開,相信是煮的時間過長的緣故。

食足兩個鐘的點心下午茶,從白天做到天色漸暗,餐廳服務不錯,既不會太過熱情也不會對客人置之不理,收碟加水都及時;點心放題的總體水準不能算是達到我起初的期望,其中能夠推薦的只有帶有鮮蝦、叉燒食材的點心寥寥幾款而已,打著懷舊廣告的放題,卻只有用餐環境懷舊而已,四款懷舊點心中,雞球大包合我心意之外別的都不做推薦,最後只剩甜品以及鳳爪可贊幾句而已;來佬的點心放題若是想要做的成功還需要多下功夫,至少香港人愛吃常吃的幾款點心水準要保證到,而重點推廣的懷舊點心也要給足心機去做;質素不能因為價格不太高而隨隨便便的來,更何況加上高達15蚊的茶茗錢最後消費也不算太低了!

來佬餐館有點似太平館,但裝修及座位都較舒適,又加入中式小炒,進餐感覺既親切又有趣,像Fashion一樣玩Mix and Match!小吃點了蝦多士,配泰式雞醬及雜果沙律醬,人人都搶着吃雜果沙律醬,一陣便沾清光!第二個小吃是焗田螺配薯蓉,惹味香濃。接續而來,是招牌菜之一,鴛鴦乳鴿,有兩只乳鴿,紅燒的看上去較香脆,故較搶手,但嘗真點,鹵水豉油那只,鴿肉較嫩,連骨頭也入味,鹵水豉油不會過甜或過咸,口腔亦留有豉油汁料的餘韻,比較出色。我們也叫了些小炒如咕嚕肉及西蘭花班片,咕嚕肉皮脆肉香,色澤,調味上乘,菠蘿粒數量也不少。炒班片肉質實淨,魚肉鮮味。魚籽海鮮炒飯及來佬汁炒牛河都值得推介。必須留肚吃甜品,香蕉船賣相經典漂亮,小時候會為了那把裝飾小紙傘而嚷着要叫茶樓甜品車的啫喱糖,它必能鈎起很多人兒時幸福的回憶,三色雪糕球份量也大,就是那種味道,情懷令人念念不忘。我更鍾愛這兒的焗梳乎里,表面金黄,內裡蛋白清香,又鬆又輕,吃畢沒有絲毫罪惡感!

Came here because of the all you can eat dim sum promotion.

After I tried this place I also dined at Loong Toh Yuen which also did the All you can eat dim sum as well but at a higher price.

Compared to Loong Toh Yuen, it is more expensive at LTY but there are more choices there which are traditional dim sum items that you would find in dim sum restaurants but at a better quality.

I liked the concept of Loyal Dining and their website is pretty good too as they have the menu online.
I was surprised with their Christmas dinner menu which had christmas pudding and their deluxe item foie gras and BBQ pork from their takeaway menu.

They offer Western food which is properly Western!
The waitors there wear the nostalgic bow ties and burgandy suits.

In general the food comes quite fast after ordering but the dim sum quality is slightly inconsistent for some items.
The good thing about the ordering here is that for some items such as dumplings and buns you can order the number of pieces you want and not by portion.

飯的一邊是白汁, 汁多而且不會乾成一舊舊, 吃下去很CREAMY; 另一邊不是一般的茄汁, 而是用龍蝦汁焗成的. 味道有點似很杰的龍蝦湯, 用來送飯的確十分惹味. 底下的配料也十分多, 有魚塊, 有墨魚圈, 有蝦等, 更有2舊龍蝦肉, 不過肉質有點鞋的. 還好底下是蛋炒飯, 不會很乾身也炒得香口. 整體來說是不錯的一個焗飯, 不過如果你問我, 百多元又好像有點太貴了.

看餐牌時看到雪糕紅豆冰居然要$42大元! 我還差點以為自己看錯. 雖然是說身在中環, 但一杯雪糕紅豆冰真的可以收$42嗎? 不過, 雪糕紅豆冰就沒點, 但點了杯$30的紅豆冰來試試.
老實說, 近年巳經很少飲紅豆冰了, 不是怕肥, 而是很難可以找到一杯好飲的紅豆冰. 本人更是飲過一杯未煲熟的紅豆就放進杯內而且還是沒味道的奶水一樣. 自此出街吃飯時真的很怕再點這個飲品.

這裡的紅豆冰十分大杯, 紅豆之多巳是佔去了杯的二分一, 攪拌後味道很濃郁, 有著奶香之餘也有陣陣的紅豆味. 而且用的是十分碎的冰, 碎冰溶得快但沒有因為溶掉而溝淡了味道. 紅豆也煲得十分粉淋又香軟. 確實是一杯很有水準的紅豆冰!

一碟有半打田螺. 田螺不是很大隻肥美, 不過內裡塞了不少牛油來焗, 出來的味道非常甘香又豐腴, 弄得滿口都是牛油香. 底下的薯蓉也不可以忽視, 焗得外皮相當脆口, 內裡質感幼滑味濃, 不一會巳被我倆清光光.

2個女生點得不多, 但吃得飽.
埋單要HKD$370左右, 其實以午餐來說算是有點貴,
不過食物雖未致水準高超, 但整體仍是不錯的.
始終在中環老外地方, 價格就是比較高的了.

宵夜時分,到來佬餐廳,見到有喇沙可以吃,就來一碗。剛剛來到的時候很香,賣相也不錯。但到吃下去時候才知道,原來只是普通米粉。而且粉的本身也較硬,味道一般。最意想不到的是那些豆卜不知何解浸在湯裏一段時間後仍是很硬,很難入口。今次都可算是敗筆!然而在離開時看到有垃圾蟲的大型公仔,心情又不同了。

點心放題好吸引呀!所以同朋友來試。食物款式尚算多款,我地用了一個多小時巳吃到好飽。菠菜餃很特別,皮是綠色的,吃起來滿口菠菜味,感覺也不錯。懷舊馬拉糕,小時候很喜歡吃的,現在很少地方有得吃,見到都開心,而且很鬆軟。鵪鶉蛋燒賣,我第一次食,我都係鍾意蝦籽燒賣多啲。我地可以一邊食,食完再落單,待應說點心全部即叫即蒸,保持新鮮。服務質素好好,當時滿場坐滿了客人,但我地要求的,也能很快速的滿足我地。下次一定會再來吃點心放題。

We visited the restaurant earlier this month for their so called dim sum buffet and we were not happy with a number of things.

1. we paid our bill with credit card and when the credit card statement came in, the amount did not agree with the credit card receipt we have on hand. Some one at the restaurant had changed the original amount on the credit card slip. INTEGRITY PROBLEMS here.

2. The service was bad. we were seated on the second floor. It took a long time for the ordered dim sum to arrive. When we asked the male server to look up our orders, he either ignored us (and concentrated on his cell phone) or he gave us black face.

3. The food was ok. But since the food took a long time to come or they were never served, so even though it says dim sum buffet, you do not get to eat all you can eat, or whatever you want to eat.

4. The air-conditioning was minimal, almost like not working.

I will strongly advise that you do not go to this restaurant. At that price, the kind of service, AND BEING CHEATED A $70 TIP WHICH WE DID NOT AUTHORIZE, i am sure you find better places to go.

今日放假走出中環接朋友收工 諗住係附近睇下有咩食 路經來佬 朋友話有見過FB上有朋友食過 重賣相都唔錯 把心一畫 就鍾左入去拉 入面既設計得懷舊 又帶D外國風情 有好多6 -70年代既相係店入面 感覺係一間中港西合壁餐廳feel店內除左茶餐廳有既野之外 重有紅白酒 礦泉水飲 同點心TIM 薈萃埋咁多野都幾得意我地二人叫左威靈頓66鐵板套餐 同 鴛鴦汁焗龍蝦海鮮飯威靈頓66 -- 感覺都幾得意 係SO皮包住塊牛柳 幾有新意 牛味好重 SO 皮唔會太厚 可以吸埋D 黑椒汁連埋一齊食 更加入味 套餐重有湯同餐包 重有甜品既 ! 今日既甜品係馬提露 普普通通LO 入面有好多大大粒既馬提既鴛鴦汁焗龍蝦海鮮飯 --- 其實真係對我黎講都算大碗 應該有2碗飯咁多 係白汁+龍蝦汁既同埋D龍蝦好鮮甜 D料都好多
