六安居其實就是蓮香居,和蓮香樓也算是親戚。蓮香居改名為六安居的主要原因是商標問題。蓮香居原本是租用蓮香的經營權,但在2023年底租用權屆滿,不得再以蓮香字號經營,因此從2024年1月1日起改名為六安居繼續營業。值得注意的是,六安居由原班人馬負責經營,只是換了招牌,其他格局基本不變。六安居的裝修和風格充滿懷舊港式茶樓特色,保留了清末民初老廣州西關風格,使用酸枝椅和古色古香的字畫作裝飾。最重要的是傳統點心推車,讓顧客可以直接從推車上選擇各式各樣的傳統蒸籠點心。點心也有一些其他地方比較少吃到的經典,例如是豬潤燒賣,只是原本的外型下,豬潤蒸得有點乾和韌,吃起來有點吃力。山竹牛肉球及鳳爪等,則保持到一定水準。燒鴨酥香肉汁多,上枱時依然保持熱燙,這樣不會差到哪裡。還有越來越少地方吃到的金錢雞,也就是將冰肉(肥豬肉)、瘦叉燒和雞肝夾在一起,非常邪惡,但就是傳統的香港特色。

餐廳環境充滿舊式茶樓既風味,主打懷舊名菜,例如雞蛋焗魚腸、霸王鴨、金錢雞、蝦子柚皮、家鄉釀鯪魚等,晚市食客非常多,亦有不少外國旅客光顧。家鄉煎釀鯪魚將魚骨和魚肉起出,而留下魚頭魚尾,之後將起出既魚肉剁爛再釀入魚身,外皮煎得香脆,內裏鯪魚彈牙爽口,味道十分特別,菜式十分花功夫。鯪魚肉混合了陳皮、蝦乾和芹菜等食材,味道豐富有層次感。鯪魚肉用咗蜆蚧醬,味道鮮美之餘,亦增加了食慾。海皇炒蛋白這道菜以炒蛋白配搭多種海鮮,例如蝦肉、魚肉,另外仲有西蘭花、菜心等。蛋白口感嫩滑,蝦肉和魚肉調味剛剛好,清淡得來又鮮味十足。金錢雞香港傳統美食,可以按件叫起,最少兩件起,以雞肝結合肥瘦豬肉,表面塗抹蜜糖,雞肝甘香純厚,油香濃郁可口,同時有附上薑片解油膩感。

話就話收四點三點幾就已經冇曬食物,得返燒賣、牛肚、鯪魚球 同埋燒味可以畀人揀。茶位都唔平16蚊一個雖然話就話冇家人但得三個點心同埋一碗粉邊度夠,選擇又少。好心佢就唔好再招呼人入嚟,早D同人講冇晒點心啦!推點心個阿姐態度又差好似唔想做咁唔怪得知啲人話香港飲食業死,根本就係你啲服務趕客。裝修就係好舊式嘅茶樓,D服務都有都係好舊式,唔會與時並進,對客人好啲呢個價錢出面大把餐廳地好過佢根本唔需要嚟受氣!!!
