今天約好朋友在此午膳,發現這家午市餐牌更新了,多了這款青色的咖哩Aloo Palak~Potato with Spinach Curry Sauce。以前曾在其他的印度餐館嚐過青BB的菠菜咖哩,所以對這款咖哩不陌生。              當時在其他印度餐廳嚐到菠菜咖哩配印式芝士,而這餐廳則以薯仔Aloo代替印式芝士。但上枱時,則有點失望。菠菜並非以刀切開,反而似是用攪拌机攪碎,打得很幼滑,有如芝麻糊,感覺不到菠菜纖維。  再加上香料用量不太多,濃度減低了,與自己期待的Aloo Palak有出入,Aloo Palak整體感覺只能說是OK。個人偏愛菠菜纖維的質感,與原粒香料的香濃,而不太喜歡芝麻糊口感。 這份Naan十分軟熟,而部份帶點卜卜脆。Naan沾上菠菜咖哩,真一流!Fusion菜式,就是跟原來的風味有點不同。但印度咖哩,真希望餐廳可維持其家鄉原來的印度風味。只怪自己重口味!  BODY REPORT: 第二天就見到青BB的XX! 看來菠菜咖哩頗健康!

菠菜並非以刀切開,反而似是用攪拌机攪碎,打得很幼滑,有如芝麻糊,感覺不到菠菜纖維。

其實去過呢間食左都7次8次, 一向都對佢地食物及服務水平滿意, 尋晚再去諗住佢地食物水準有保證, 點左個牛排(餐牌指明客人可要求幾熟), 於是我強調兩次塊排要 medium (5成), 但失望嘅係出黎竟然係塊全熟嘅牛排, 太熟勁難咬, 我覺得真係一個好低級嘅錯誤, 而間鋪當時仲早並無客, 理應有足夠時間比佢用心煮塊牛排, 但都要煮成咁, 所以真係對今次餐飯有啲失望, btw我仍然覺得佢地其他食物係幾好嘅, 只係牛排勸大家唔好order。

The sauce is actually made by mint and green pepper but its taste is quite strong. I felt like I was eating a chili sauce. Surprisingly, he gave us one more round of the free entree when my friend and I said that the snack tasted good. ^^

There are a very wide range of food served in the place, from salad, curry to spaghetti and pizzas, you name it. But as the owner is an Indian, we felt like eating curry is more sensible. Thus, we ordered an Indian bread and the South Indian Style Chicken Curry. The curry doesn't come with rice or any bread-like thingies, please do make an order for the Indian bread. Lachha Paratha is recommended because there is no other strong flavour. The curry is not spicy and the chicken doesn't have bones which is good for lazy people XD

Apart from the Indian bread and curry, we opted for something western because the squid ink based pizza looks interesting. In the past, I have only tried the squid ink spaghetti but not pizza so we go for something new. There are 2 sizes for the pizza. Ordering the small one (around 8") is enough for 2-4 people. The big one is 12". The pizza is quite rich in ingredients, like crab meat, white mushroom and lobster meat etc.. The pizza is crispy but do finish that earlier before it cools down. Since the ingredients are mostly seafood, it tasted a bit fishy when it is cool.

All-in-all, the meal was quite a good experience. And mostly important, it is a place with good service but NO service charge ^^ The drinks are quite economical too (around $35 for half pint of beer - happy hour; $38 for non-happy-hour)  but there were only 2 of us, we didn't order that. Will definitely come back for other types of snacks and main dishes.

特色奶油雞: 醬汁好開胃, 係有蕃茄味的奶油咖哩汁, 唔算好辣, 幾香幾惹味. 不過雞肉就比較少.

尼泊爾餃子: 無甚特別, 相比之下較普通, 感覺似食緊北京上海菜
不過餃子皮不厚, 入面是雞肉和香草餡料, 味道都幾香. 中間點的醬汁也幾惹味.

另外, 要讚一讚呢度既服務, 侍應哥哥(定係老闆?)好有禮貌態度親切, 又keep住幫我地收碟和斟水. 不過座位就確係有少少逼, 始終地方不大.
