This restaurant claimed itself to be an Indonesian restaurant. But I really can't tell from the food itself.  A bit of Thai, Vietnamese... or SE Asian fusion. It doesn't have a clear position. I ordered the Sunday Brunch ($288) and free-flow of wine ($168) which comes with unlimited servings of starters. The wine is shitty and same as the starters. I had red Thai curry prawn as the main and the quality of the prawns is good.  But I could have something much better for the money I have paid for. The service is very good in general and the waiters were quick on re-filling wine. However, I saw a mouse on the way to the bathroom.  The management needs to be more vigilant on hygiene.  continue reading

Duck and wild mushroom larb with shredded bamboo, flat leaf coriander, Vietnamese mint, lemongrass roasted rice and Chiang Mai nam prik spices入面有大量嘅金菇,有少少辣,但個汁係幾好味主菜Pad thai with prawns, tofu, dried shrimp, garlic, chives, bean sprouts and peanuts同平時嘅Pad Thai 都差唔多, 但蝦好新鮮, 唔錯呀!"Lamb Saag" slow-cooked lamb shank simmered in spinach garm masala and tomato served with torn burrata今晚最出奇地好味嘅菜式, 慢煮嘅羊配上菠菜,仲有少少嘅Burrata 非常惹味Stir-fried vegetables除咗菜之外,仲有蜜豆,不過油咗少少伴碟Indian Wheat flatbread為咗可以同"Lamb saag"一齊食就叫咗呢個flatbread, 分量就少咗d continue reading

continue reading

continue reading

We came here for lunch and all four of us ordered from the set lunch menu. I ordered set C - chicken mince with egg, daikon broth. Instead of jasmine rice, I was allowed to substitute it with papaya salad. The daikon broth was SO SALTY. I did not enjoy this. One friend ordered the regular Set C and also found the broth salty. The egg and chicken mince were tasty and the papaya salad was nice and spicy. My other two friends ordered a set A and a set B. The seafood curry sauce was too thin (we all agreed) but tasted ok. And the set A beef curry was replaced with a chicken stir fry which was judged “ok”.The serving portions are ample and the service is good. Although good value, I would say the lunch sets are a mix of hits and misses. My friend is a regular dinner patron here and said the a la carte food is better. So I will try ordering off the a la carte menu next time. continue reading
