What a bargain for lunch set here. There used to be a Japanese restaurant prior to this one so am glad that there is still Japanese food around.For a sashimi lunch set, it costs $168 i actually thought it was very good considering it is mid level we are talking about. The sashimi are fresh and especially the scallop and the urchin, salad was crisp and you also got the steamed egg and a miso soup plus ice cream as dessert. Decent Japanese cuisine in a small cozy atmosphere. Seating was limited but comfortable and the staff was friendly and eager to accommodate. The wide variety of Japanese dishes were all reasonably priced and the generous portions left us satisfied. Pork cutlet with curry was delicious. Overall well worth the experience.

呢間日本餐廳係我屋企人嘅飯堂，每星期都會幫襯至少一次，原因並非此處食物特別好味或特別抵食，最主要係屋企附近食肆選擇不多而又要坐得舒服就更少，呢間餐廳坐位不多，客滿都不過十幾廿人，又有四人卡位，合晒我屋企人要求，老闆同老闆娘又好nice👍🏻 我最鍾意食牛肉丼同牛油果軟殼蟹卷，小食嘅豆腐魚餅外脆內軟正😋我阿媽就次次都叫加州卷我就覺得普通啦，口味好個人，各式其式啦。如果唔怕熱氣，芝麻雞翼都唔錯，送酒一流，佢哋食物份量都足夠，唔會話好的式，唔夠飽咁，我見疫情下佢地晚晚都爆，仲有人買外賣，應該不乏捧場客。

係半山開嘅街坊日本料理 ，質數果然係有返咁上下呀吓! 仲有個半開放式嘅位置，可以帶埋狗狗黎 😁 啲街坊都好鍾意 🐶 感覺勁親民 (仲可以全部客人一齊傾訴求，好正)壽司好新鮮，好足料 😁 海膽份量好正呀 😍 我地即刻加碼，再叫! 另外餐廳仲有個off menu 嘅日本梅冷麵，夏天先有架 😁 微酸，放到最後食都唔會覺得頂胃最後當然要食埋甜品啦～ 柚子sorbet 係好食嘅，另外個個黑色杯裝甜品.. 係咖啡啫喱黎架.. 幾特別，濃郁嘅咖啡香

今天同大家介紹嘅係位於香港島西半山一間日式料理食店，老闆兼主厨~Ken San 在這裡開業已有一段日子，每事親力親為，由買貨、訂購及主理均不假手他人，認真又勤奮！ 店內裝修簡潔 、食物質素超水準！ 由最初不算太理想的業績， 憑著他堅毅的努力， 終於可以為自己創一番事業作為起步， 現在午間及晚間均門庭如市， 家人及同事的協助下， 相信他日必定可以更上一層樓， 在此祝福他！🙏🙏🙏

今天難得休假一天，聞時身動，造訪一下西半山附近的龍虎山。在往山下回程時，發現此餐廳，便一試之。此餐廳在山腰中，若不是行山而見，應該主要服務周糟的街里，餐廳主打日本菜，也不是便宜，但味道有誠意，由其套餐配有味噌湯、加州卷、前菜沙津和主食，份量較街外的日本餐廳夠飽肚。但以這地段，差不多八九十元為一個午餐，便不能以價廉物。其中燒物及拉麵口感清淡，但不減本身味道，值得一嚐。

Ordered sushi salmon don. Portion of salmon was so thin, almost like smoked salmon slices. For 114 dollars I really expected more than just a measly 5 of the thinnest sliced salmon of my life; total rip off. The fish wasn’t even good quality too, almost like sushi express-tier. Won’t be coming back.
