I tried to make a reservation at this restaurant, not to expect some really bad attitude from the receptionist, a girl by the name of Boey, I think. She had problem listening clearly to the date and time of the booking I intended to make and I had to repeat it 3 times before she could actually catch on. 去過nobu回味無窮,聽說megu更勝一籌,於是原班人馬再向圓方出發。論裝潢餐具的確比nobu優勝,因為nobu重用用完即棄竹筷,不過冇境。1,吃了石燒和牛,味道一流,不過塊石大過牛肉好多,有啲攪笑。2,炸虾好味,壽司水準不俗,但不算特別。3,和牛鵝肝丸,幾有新意,不過效果一般,牛肉和鵝肝兩種特性都失去,但變不出化學作用,有點失望。4,好彩和牛薄切十分精彩,入口即溶,醬汁引發的豐富口感,令人回味再三。5,甜品亦很出色,朱古力盒子有紅豆,幾唔錯。侍應笑容親切,服務到位,很好,如果係過年值得俾利是。埋單1779元,可接受。值得一提係,同行三位女士其中兩位認為好食過nobu好多,但我和叨另一位男士就持相反意見;男女口味可能真係有差異。

Must say that Megu's signature wagyu beef dishes were truly superb and fascinating. Truly tender, melting, juicy and has a delicious flavor. We had the grilled skewers and sukiyaki hotpot. Both were equally exquisite. We also ordered the deep fried prawns with banana and almonds - very crispy and tasty. I went to this place despite all the bad review I've read on this forum. It turns out the restaurant wasn't so bad at all. Admittedly, the food wasn't "perfect" and "astonishing" as one would have thought from the looks and its reputation in NYC. However, the plates that we ordered were special, and in most cases, very nice.The service was also of standard; the hostess and waiters being very courteous and helpful. I do suggest readers to go and have another try...

I read the reviews in this website the night before I went there. You really really can taste the word of "disappointment" if you visit this resturant.Service- they try hard to provide the best service but they can't. They serve food in a very rush ( just like "Chinese cafe" but there are few customers here. Don't know why they need to serve the food so hurry.
