講開Sunday brunch真喺一不離二。今個禮拜日有朋自廣州來,咁橋星期六行完毅行者,食buffet唔算過份啩?去openRice楝餐廳近紅磡火車站又好多人話好嘅。。。bingo! 喺海景嘉福酒店嘅Mistral (海風餐廳)有31個笑面!而且每位$488,比IFC嘅仲貴-一定喺好野!唔喺點敢收咁嘅價錢?好!一行三人,11點半到,坐第一枱。Waiter態度好親切。先嚟一杯汔酒,仲喺任飲!須然酒只喺普通貨色,但先聲奪人。果然收得有道理。睇menu,頭盤有salad bar,自選pizza,主菜有鱸魚、西泠牛肉、烤蝦可選。仲有蛋omlette(?)。甜品bar也應不錯。Salad bar有好新鮮嘅菜,攞分!我最怕salad菜唔夠crispy。新鮮好重要。Cold cut有多款選擇。牛肉caparcio、牛利、parma ham、肉腸等約十款。奇怪冇黑毛豬?Cold cut不過不失但冇特別。麵包唔掂,除麵包條外,所有其他款式可以不試!食完沙律菜嚟一份froie gras。煎得不錯,香口肥美。意式小吃有mayonnaise加冇味雪蝦、Mozzarella Cheese蕃茄、燒茄子等十多款。

好!一行三人,11點半到,坐第一枱。Waiter態度好親切。先嚟一杯汔酒,仲喺任飲!須然酒只喺普通貨色,但先聲奪人。果然收得有道理。睇menu,頭盤有salad bar,自選pizza,主菜有鱸魚、西泠牛肉、烤蝦可選。仲有蛋omlette(?)。甜品bar也應不錯。

Salad bar有好新鮮嘅菜,攞分!我最怕salad菜唔夠crispy。新鮮好重要。Cold cut有多款選擇。牛肉caparcio、牛利、parma ham、肉腸等約十款。奇怪冇黑毛豬?Cold cut不過不失但冇特別。麵包唔掂,除麵包條外,所有其他款式可以不試!食完沙律菜嚟一份froie gras。煎得不錯,香口肥美。意式小吃有mayonnaise加冇味雪蝦、Mozzarella Cheese蕃茄、燒茄子等十多款。但塊水牛芝士一d香味同奶味都欠奉。之前食塊靚鵝肝唔通真係要客人一啖沙糖一啖??再點茄醬香菇肉末意粉和pizza。兩樣也都是失敗之作。意粉茄汁太稀,唔夠味。茄汁做意粉最重要喺要reduce嗰汁先有濃郁嘅味道。Al dente又唔夠,粉質唔似自家制。Pizza皮夠脆但topping未夠火候,食落皮餡分開。

主菜我食西冷、太太要鱸魚(佢已經唔記得西餐千期唔好食魚嘅戒條)、朋友要grill大蝦。伙記冇問我牛扒要幾成熟,只好在他離開的身影後叫“唔該medium-rare!”佢頭也不回,都唔知聽唔聽到?心中有啲擔心。正納悶是否應叫他返嚟再交帶一次?主菜已上桌!!咁快都得?睇下塊西冷,竟然喺medium-rare!唔通佢後腦有收音系統?牛肉冇西冷味,唔喺用靚肉,中等之中等。老婆就話塊魚冇味兼且“鞋”,食一半都唔夠就停手。朋友話蝦好好,但我冇試,唔敢講。

主角最後出場-甜品!!!我喺甜品怪,食多多都得!恃住行完毅行者,有“本錢”。每樣要啲。朱古力蛋糕最得我心,好食,濃濃嘅朱古力味衝激味蕾,正!!但係其他嘅真喺乏善足陳。嗰Opera就真離譜,竟然用strawberry mousse做夾心?唔係全朱古力嘅咩?芝士蛋糕又冇芝士味。Rapsberry加一“pat”稀奶水嘅乜東柬?水果又唔靚。最好仲係Hxxxxx Dxxx雪糕加朱古力碎粒!唉。。。

收得$488(獅子銀行信用咭有八折)總有好大期望。可能影響咗感覺。只要唔係水準以上就覺得唔掂。可能大家將期望降低,會唔會好啲?留待讀者自行發掘了。

實在太想食ham 了... 理所當然就是去mistral食個 lunch semi-buffet 主菜其實不是主菜, 各式各樣的意式沙拉及火腿才是!主菜點了吞拿魚, 睇相是否以為是牛扒呢? 味道ok啦, 略嫌熟了些.今次大膽加埋甜品, 挑戰食量. 原來他們的招牌朱古力蛋糕的確十分棒, 非常thick, amazing.不過, 相中的甜品就只有賣相, 食落一d味都無, 有點奇怪.

主菜點了吞拿魚, 睇相是否以為是牛扒呢? 味道ok啦, 略嫌熟了些.

不過, 相中的甜品就只有賣相, 食落一d味都無, 有點奇怪.

我們點了個Chef Igor Macchia's Recommendation: set dinner [$788]包括以下菜式:
Appetizer: 燒魷魚炸蝦 - 賣相不錯!炸蝦香脆可口,燒魷魚不會太"un",軟度適中

1st Course: 紅椒汁意大利飯 - 以我所知正宗意大利飯是比較硬的,所以這個飯也是,再配以特別味道的紅椒汁,味道不錯
可惜內裡加上了某一種魚[類似沙甸魚],成個感覺就不同了............好腥

2nd Course: 咖啡煮羊肉配甜粟米汁 - 這道菜是最有驚喜,因為我們不太食羊肉!它的煮法很特別,令到羊肉有很香濃咖啡味,去除了羊本身"穌"味,肉質也較嫩

Chef Igor Macchia的解說: 把羊肉放入咖啡24小時後烹調, 會帶咖啡的苦味, 配以甜粟米汁來平衡菜式味道
甜品: 意大利聖誕蛋糕 - 面層因煎過,所以很香脆,內裡很軟熟,再配以其他配料一起食,味道都不錯呢

Chef Igor Macchia的解說: 用傳統dome shape意大利聖誕蛋糕切件加上Brown sugar煎香, 配以milk foam加上雜果粒和果仁
飲品: Latte - 咖啡味香濃,奶很香滑,

另外散叫了以下菜式:
Soup: 薯仔湯配麵包粒[$128] - 味道感覺像普通忌簾湯,略為失色

2nd Course: 石燒魚塊配肉汁[$428] - 它將不同種類的魚塊及蝦放在石塊上,這點很有心思,但魚塊肉質很"鞋",再配以用肉汁及酒混和的汁,味道感覺有點不太配合

值得一提就是每張枱都會放上長長面包條再配上三種不同意大利醬,味道非常美味呢

這餐飯用了兩個多鐘才食完呢,好耐也未試過了.....

The deco is very homey italian. The services were great. The waiters / waitresses were all very helpful and very initiative in offering their help. I was recommended a very nice glass of Italian red wine from Veneto.The food was better than average. I particularly liked the baked scallops and risotto. (Sorry but my phone's camera is way too crap) The sea bass we had was however, not so great. Also tried the "famed" chocolate cake. I am not so into desserts and did not find it so famed as

The food was overall, nice, but it's still too expensive. It tasted more like food around $350 per head. And, we already used the openrice.com's coupon!!!!!

微暖,good… 味道算唔錯。跟三款醬:番茄 & 香草oliver oil(?) & 矮瓜,我最鍾意番茄醬,好fresh既味道;我老公最鍾意矮瓜醬,味淡但係有種特別既香味…

先黎前菜:set 既 beef & loster carparccio同duck liver
牛肉好薄,中間白色係loster?食唔出… 哩味OK啦。
煎鴨肝係我老公既至愛,面香脆內滑,又夠厚身,正!


跟住係鮮茄龍蝦墨汁意粉(set)
鮮茄:fresh;龍蝦:彈牙…正;墨汁意粉:有點煙靭… 唔錯。

主菜係牛仔肉(set)
我地一向麻麻地veal… 肉質夠淋,上面既cheese有點cover左D牛味,個mushroom sauce幾好

pizza係parma ham + mushroom + 茄 + cheese
餅底夠薄夠脆;ham好好味,唔乾;mushroom雖少,但好香菌味呀;加埋好香既cheese同茄… 讚!!!


set既甜品幫我由vanilla奶涷轉左cream brulee
好creamy,好好味呀!


好enjoy既一餐,用左coupon抵食。

食物嘅種類多元化,單以cold cuts嚟講差不多有十款選擇,包括牛肉(ox tongue)、豬肉(speck ham巴馬火腿莎樂美)及駝鳥肉類。cold cuts嘅質素比未轉廚之前嘅Sabatini遜色,但亦可歸納為高水準,加上陣容大,這比前者又勝一籌。麵包嘅選擇寥寥數款,但質素是有保証的。見有食友提及這裡嘅grissini,筆者也有試過,未如食友描述般鬆軟香脆,有點失望。其他嘅麵包則鬆軟有加,配合各種款色嘅芝士,如parmesan, gorgonzola, fortina等,明知會容易飽肚都再添一片。其他嘅意式食物如beef carparccio薯仔沙律、各類蔬菜沙律等亦不錯;必備嘅生蠔是即點即開的,入口香滑鮮美,未吃主菜已飽了幾分。

太座不能食生冷嘢,只有集中火力食煎鴨肝。未見其貌,先聞其味,教人垂涎三尺,初初煎出嚟嘅鴨肝比較有心機,外表煎得香脆,鴨肝亦滑溜,至後來人客多了,order量也多了,煎嘅水準亦下降了。食意大利餐,意粉與薄餅少不了,意粉選了linguini配鹹魚及磨菇,口感不差,意粉軟硬度是合格有餘,當然比起Sabatini、Angelini等,還有一點點嘅距離。薄餅餅身夠晒薄,係正宗嘅南意風格,不過有點兒太乾身,忘記吩咐多一點芝士及茄汁,令其更加juicy。

主菜嘅選擇也多,太座與筆者各自點了燒鱸魚燒西冷牛扒服務員冇問要幾多成熟,已感不妙。不一會主菜已呈眼前,其速度更叫筆者詫異。牛扒係大約七成熟,肉汁豐富,沒有流失,但牛肉味欠奉。燒鱸魚嘅味道更差,燒得過了火,肉質十分粗糙,完全是一件失敗嘅主菜。在buffet bar上嘅食物水準是不錯的,但main course嘅質素太令人失望,拉低了整體食物嘅評分。喜歡香檳嘅食友,這裡有prosecco任飲,味道不比一般香檳差的。最後一杯香濃嘅latte,暫時忘卻主菜嘅不佳。

Sunday brunch每人四百六十八蚊,用了七五折優惠劵,連加一服務費每人四百蚊有找。平心而論,這裡嘅食物是有質素的,但作為慶祝太座生日嘅飯局,心裡總是有一點遺憾。

I would say it is a decent and comfortable place for friends gathering and couple dating. As the restaurant is located at Hotel's basement, it is a bit vault- like, and specially decorated with plates and bottles of village style.

Although it names itself the "Sunday Brunch", it's more like a lunch buffet - the variety of dishes is really impressive, besides diverse appetizer (variety of Parma ham and cold meet), insalata, goose liver (instantly cooked), oyster, pizza(instantly cooked), pasta (including Ravioli, Fettuccini, etc, instantly cooked) and dessert, you can also order main course such as Sirloin steak, beef medallion, steak with shrimp and lamb chop, salmon roll, mussel and omelette etc.

I love the oyster - freshly opened only upon request, they were really fresh and creamy. For pasta, I like the Fettuccini one, the texture was good. Buffet appetizer only is $188, with an entree it was around $218/228, with dessert buffet I think it was another $10.

Since I wasn't too interested in the entree selection, I chose to have only the appetizer, which not only fills you up but the food is quite tasty!

The selection includes different kinds of cured meat (parma ham, salami, turkey, tongue, etc), smoked salmon, beef carpacio, tuna carpacio, various kinds of veggies, fritata, and a salad bar. I really enjoyed the parma ham and smoked salmon ~ not too salty with a nice texture.

The place doesn't get very crowded so it's definitely a good place for a quiet lunch. For those who are into nice cured meats, this is quite a good place to go. For those who doesn't care much for cured meats, this place might seems overpriced.

先說salad... 那是一個帶子伴carrot 的個salad, 加上balsamic v, 酸酸的... 份量很少... 但也沒所謂....

兩個soup 一個是西西尼special 的bean soup, 有一點小shrimp... creamy, 也好味... another one 是italian tomato soup... 是濃湯... 我喜歡的....

到了主角pizza 了.... homemade 的pizza, 自選了 sun dried tomato, mushroom, spicy sauage.... pizza 很薄, 很脆... 很好味, 份量不少, 兩到三個人都ok.... 這樣才是pizza..... 但是否best in town.... 我唔sure.... 它是上好的.... 但同中環有一間又是一時瑜亮...


Main Course 是grilled salmon.... 她不太愛seafood... 魚就只prefer salmon.... grilled 好好... 剛剛熟, 一點又不"鞋"口..... 好味... 份量大... 很不錯的...

dessert 要了signature choco cake..... 其實是沒有心的心太軟.... 暖暖的... 好rich 的choco 味.... 我like chocolate... 所以我喜歡... 她說 一般....


我慣了order 一杯espresso 試試.... 是illy 的... so.?... 一般啦..... 還是過crema 好....


埋單時才知道 ae 有85折..... 好happy...

數下數下, 頭盤Buffet 都有 30 多款種類以供選擇, 其中有各款意大利火腿、沙律菜、傳統意大利前菜等。但係我始終選擇食愛爾蘭生蠔為頭盤, 睇住D廚師即叫即開, 一萬個放心啦! 加上餐廳提供的 Prosecco 配 蠔, 真係一流享受 。為了使仔仔、囡囡 盡快入 Kids Corner 玩, 在 Buffet 檯上簡單取了幾款頭盤給他們, 己發覺食物帶有意大利特色, 真係和港式頭盤不同。

見有即煮意大利粉, 立即 order 了二客, 一客番茄汁底, 另一客為白汁底, 煮好的意大利粉要盡快食,不能放得太久。因自製意大利粉的的關係, 所以粉質較為鬆軟, 百份百新鮮, 雖不及包裝意大利粉彈牙, 但比較新鮮意大利粉來得昂貴。仔仔、囡囡不出三分鐘已幫我清碟,便開閉心心去 Kids Corner 處玩。 我便可以專心享受 這裡的 Brunch Buffet 。

看見那邊廚師在煎鴨肝, 當然要 order 一客, 一試之下, 鴨肝的質地和口感比想像中好, 切開了的鴨肝邊不會鬆散, 但要記住連伴碟的 Rocket 菜和黑醋一起食, 這可中和鴨肝本身的油脂。 在此時剛巧侍應奉上 大片Pizza, 大大粒磨菇加上吞拿魚, 大大塊的加上薄底硊邊, 原來意大利正宗 Pizza 係咁。 大盤的磨菇汁牛仔肉、大蝦也是上上之選, 其中扒Seabass 的硊魚皮也是令我印象深刻, 亦不能不點這裡的海鮮什錦, 茄汁已滲入鱸魚、青口內, 一咬落去, 香甜茄汁加上鮮魚汁暖暖滲出, 為必點之選。

再入Kids Corner 看看仔仔、囡囡, 原來Kids Corner 有位Mistral 餐廳姐姐照顧, 大可以放心。Corner 內有 三部電視, 二部為設有兒童電腦互動的遊戲機, 一部播有兒童卡通影碟。其中的五顏六色豆豆袋 (真的有六款顏色), 有大有細, 真的和大型波波池有得揮。其中 Leap Frog 青蛙圖案極為特出, 房內又有畫紙和畫筆提供給小朋友, 不用自己帶備, 真係可以來一場親子填色比賽。真係小朋友有小朋友天地, 大朋友有大朋友天地。其中囡囡極為欣賞新款的圖書朗讀筆, 只須用帶有speaker的筆尖指在指在圖書的指定圖案上, speaker筆便會讀出英文生字或故事, 極具教育價值 ...(我可以唔洗長篇大盡講晒成本英文圖書,而囡囡又可以學到英文..........推介!)

甜品之中, 我覺得 Rasberry Opera Cake為必食甜品之一。 一般朱古力 Opera Cake 較為重味而甜和欠缺果味, 但這裡的Rasberry Opera Cake 帶有Rasberry 鮮果香, 酸中帶甜, 這可幫我化解之前的大盤飽肚感覺, 餅質鬆欶芳香。 鮮土多啤梨批配上 custard, 大大粒土多啤梨, 十分誘人。而講到 Mistral 餐廳招牌甜品 -- Mistral 朱古力餅, 一定要試! 此餅充滿朱古力香咪, 質感一流, 但不能一大啖咬落去, 細細啖, 在口內停留數秒, 然後就會發覺質感十足的朱古力餅會在口內化解, 慢慢溶在口中, 掂!

真難找一間餐廳又能滿足大人和細路,仔仔、囡囡在回程時已在巴士上睡了覺.........我也飽了肚子, 下次一於再來又食又玩。

甜品方面, 有佢地最出色的朱古力蛋糕, 可惜實在太甜, 好似食緊一舊純朱古力, 麵粉份量甚少, 我們兩人都食唔晒一件

最後用一杯咖啡伴曲奇作結, 但印象中係用一隻古典味重的illy杯配illy品牌咖啡, 但今次卻係用上普通咖啡杯, 而且係唔係用illy咖啡就更加不得而知了!!

Pizza 為 意大利傳統薄批, 面層有香口的芝士溶混合了茄醬, 加上意大利香草, 實在令我忍不住咬了一口, 薄薄的 Pizza 餅底沒有被熱熱和厚厚的芝士弄致軟身, 反而給脆身的Pizza 邊和底部帶給驚喜, 細心的餐廳部長已建議我可切成四片, 方便用手拿起來食, 不用刀叉, 原汁原味, 還有熱毛巾奉上, 真是細心。 聽他們說原來意大利人大多喜愛原件上, 不用切開, 原來The Mistral 不單止食意大利餐, 還可以學東西。燒羊架因我不愛全熟的關係, 我點七成熟, 這份燒羊架可以看到肉汁夾在其中, 真是想大啖咬落去, 不致於有肉汁可以逃離我的口裡, 但說到底這是一間高級餐廳, 一啖盡咬落去能有點困難, 幸好這裡給我一把孖人牌扒刀, 一刀輕輕已將這件羊一分為二, 盡量將肉汁留在肉上,不致於流失在碟上。

甜品點了自家泡製的 Vanilla Ice-cream, 可以看到有很多 Vanilla Seed 在雪糕內, 當底部的士多啤梨、藍莓和上層的雪榚一起食........... 先是給凍凍帶輕甜的雪榚輕輕麻痺, 咬下去後, 感受到士多啤梨、藍莓慢慢滲出微酸, 再而迅間給口裡的雪糕中和, 還可以感受到一粒粒的Vanilla Seed 存在呢! 食這個甜品的 tips 是不可以心急。

吃了這一頓豐富晚餐後, 還想試這裡的鴨肝和海鮮, 等下次再來試遇..........
