此店多次光顧,牛肉水準依舊一絕!這是必點的一道手切肥牛。來這裡,新鮮材料的食材都很好。至於那些雪藏羊肉、雪藏肥牛的大路貨,就無謂浪費錢!到處都食到,何必跑到這裡吃?至於湯底,叫最普通最平的就好,那個招牌蕃茄蟹鍋,根本就不值。情願將那些錢叫多碟手切肥牛還好。食火鍋,最重要是嚐鮮,太花巧的湯底實在浪費。鱔片、生蠔、鵝腸等才是皇道!說到底,一個新鮮就ok,值得一去再去的火鍋店。

前幾日同朋友一齊去呢間聞名已久嘅老坑火鍋,我哋揀平日夜晚去,如果唔係都應該要等,我哋訂左七點,準時到唔使等位,先叫幾個小食,有水準,然後點左個皮蛋芫荽鍋,清清地要嘗鮮,有朋友之前去過,一早就打電話留咗龍躉翅,果然冇介紹錯,一個字“正”,手切牛燙耐左D都唔會韌,要提一提個八爪魚,第一次打邊爐食八爪魚,估唔到咁爽,其他D丸,響鈴整體嚟講都唔錯,埋尾跟個黃鱔煲仔飯一流,為很有風味的一餐畫上完美句號。埋單一人350,唔算平,但值。

This restaurant defines the classic definition of hotpot in Hong Kong....no frills type of decoration with plastic chairs and wobbly tables with a small gas burner and impatient waiters hahaha.....this time we were even seated on the sidewalk outside! The hotpot at this place is one of my favorites due to these factors and the food is simply awesome. We ordered the usual large portion of specially selected handcut US angus marbled beef . You can see the marbling, and this is really flavourful & tender, melting in the mouth. Other items we orderred included a plate of prawn dumplings, fish skin dumplings (which I loved), grass carp bones and belly, prawn paste, fried fish skin, tons of veggies as well as some fried tofu. We also ordered some condiments (garlic, spring onions, chili and soy). I made the mistake of ordered clay pot rice with chinese sausage and mushrooms as I couldn't finish everything we ordered!

If you really want the old school type of experience, definitley come here. If you're only into fine dining and sitting in a nice air conditioned restaurant, this may not be the place for you.  Will definitely come back again and again.
