怎麼會說是有趣呢?侍應告知橄欖油碟子中央是一個纖細的小磨,可將生蒜按在小磨上移動,幼細的蒜蓉便能跑出來了。於是老公和我便動手磨出自己的生蒜蓉,是玩與食融合的趣味,令我們更加投入美食當中,絕對是餐廳用心的設計!至於橄欖,就直接送口,鹹酸鹹酸,佐酒佳品,可惜當晚沒喝酒。

生蒜蓉與橄欖油塗在麵包上,效果如何?以前未曾嘗試過。入口潤滑,一片清新的蒜香與輕微的蒜辛,感受到原汁原味的生蒜,比焗的蒜茸包還要叫好,也可照辦煮碗的搬到家裡嘗試。

至於那份酷似港式排包的麵包,實際殊不簡單,外表雖平凡不過,但原來質感特別的可人。淺啡的外皮,香且脆;白白的包心,軟綿柔韌,加上生蒜蓉與橄欖油,那份美妙的口感,麵包的貢獻實在功不可抺。我們很少把麵包吃光,當晚一掃而清,就是一個絕少的例子。

海鮮是地中海的特產,到地中海旅遊每餐也離不開新鮮的漁獲。

Marinated Mussels with Tomato Vinaigrette 是 A La Carte Menu 內的 Tapas。採用了味道出眾的藍青口,加上火喉又剛好,肉質非常之幼嫩。

選用了 Tomato Vinaigrette 醬汁,汁底有酸豆與酸瓜粒,味道清酸,開胃,恰似爽朗的地中海風情!

見到厚大的魷魚塊,老公立即想到可遇不可求的大澳大尾魷。魷魚質感細密、爽彈、魷魚味甜厚,新鮮得像剛從愛琴海釣起來一樣,怪不得是當晚廚師的推介。

襯托鮮味的魷魚用不著複雜的醬汁,清純自然的蕃茄醬最好不過,恰好把魷魚的鮮,徹底地帶到嘴巴內,再迴盪在味蕾之上。

A La Carte Menu 的主菜分別以 From the Grill, From the Land, From the Sea 區分,款式不少,但能一目瞭然,只是老公欲嚐牛扒,而我又鍾情於當晚推介的野豬,但又有特別的西班牙海鮮飯,搞得心大又心細。

最終還是遷就老公,要了 From the Grill 的 USDA Prime Striploin,重 250g。香氣不俗,切開後呈現粉紅肉嫩的色澤,Medium Rare 對辦了,可是油脂只限於牛扒兩側的兩片脂肪,中心部位則略為乾實,油香不夠理想,以該售價而言,牛扒的質量應可更佳。

海鮮飯的賣點是以墨汁烹調,顏色烏黑潤澤,均勻地將每一顆飯粒包裹,再者透出陣陣的香味確是誘人。墨汁飯夾雜著洋蔥粒,除帶墨味的小鹹外,濃濃的忌廉味就最為突出。飯粒嚼勁十足,確是老人家口中不折不扣的夾生飯,一邊咀嚼一邊咬出甜甜濃濃的忌廉味,跟平日以上湯與烈酒烹調的西班牙海鮮飯,擁有截然不同的風格。一小鍋的飯,看似不多,但墨汁與忌廉頗為膩口,兩人要完成它也甚費勁。

大蝦經輕微燒烤,蝦肉新鮮清甜,加上恰好的調味,非常合意。而青口與大尾魷也如前所載,質量俱佳。其實魚塊本身也甚新鮮,只可惜沒有預先調味,使魚肉顯得平淡乏味,浪費了!

今次的測試所得,Tapas 比主菜出色,海鮮質量也非常不錯,下次再心癢癢到 Olea 晚膳的時候,會以 From the Sea 的 Tapas 為先。

星期六到東涌出席工作坊,走到這裡來吃個午餐,加油後再出席工作坊。Daily Set Lunch $148 + $40 with dessert and drinks.自家制的麵包,有口感,以蒜泥配醋,還是第一次呢!前菜之一︰芝麻吞拿魚配什菜及甜薑汁,很清爽的感覺。前菜之二︰南瓜湯 - 又甜又好味。主菜之一︰牛柳 - 酒店水準,不過不失。薯泥加入煙肉,很惹味。主菜之二︰風乾磨菇配蕃茄忌廉麵 - 這個有驚喜,寬條麵口感好,蕃茄和忌廉的配搭也適宜。甜品︰在餐車內挑選一款甜品 - 酒店水準,合格。東涌讓人有渡假的感覺,若以悠閒的心情,在這裡進膳確是一個不錯的選擇。

突然想東涌outlet, 行下行下就3個小時可惜一件東西也買不多, 最後都是食吧, 原先打算去酒店的自助餐, 但一早full booking 了, 只好轉地方去此地中海olea 一試, 情調不錯, 見廚師在旁即order 即做的感覺很好, 由於全英文menu, 故吸引了很多外籍人士, 經理也很細心用廣東話介紹當天的菜單, 於是我點算了一個龍蝦仔三文魚意大利雲吞餐......可惜較油, 食不到原先的海鮮味道另外叫了一個意大利飯, 忘了是lemon 配什麼, 但只知是很酸我們甜品也沒叫就走了....或許只是我們今oredr 錯了菜色

This is not the first time to enjoy meals in Olea. This time I tried the Sunday Brunch with my friend. It was a really nice environment that I love to dine here!Food quality is excellent as well as the service here!I definitely will return to this restaurant and will recommend to my friends!

All the cuisines touching the Mediterranean.I started with a selection of tapas from the board, anchovies, mushrooms, salami. These change seaonally so theres always plenty of choice.Main was a nice ribeye. 聽說其晚市,又真的沒有Essence好生意.無法子,Essence實在太受歡迎了.

這間Olea,晚間的環境,比日間更為剎食.還是適合一些山長水遠來的"偷情男女"光顧.

30-May-2007來這裏的原因當然是自助餐無位!Raviloli Regular: 意大利雲吞, 莧菜餡。一般啦, 帕來雪藏即食貨不會好食到那裏。Pasta Regular: 太座品評為一般, 我覺得主要是它們用的意粉貨色是太普通啦, 在酒店供應給客人就有點兒那個。Melanzance(s) pizza: 還可以算合格有餘, 即叫即做即焗, 怎樣也不會太差。Kronenbourg Draft: 全晚最高分!

Went there 2 months ago with wife to celebrate our anniversary.The free bread with olive oil was excellent. Went there 2 months ago with wife to celebrate our anniversary.

The free bread with olive oil was excellent. Crispy on the outside and very nice texture on the inside.

Entree we ordered:
1) Bread with tomatoe paste, olive oil and onion, kinda the same as the freebie...taste good.
2) Fried Calamari (spelling?) rings...umm moderately fresh, taste not bad.

However one of the main dishes was a disaster:
1) Risotte with assorted mushroom in cheese sauce. Taste not bad as well, but try to share this dish with others or you'd be feeling full in few spoons.
2) Stuffed Spring Chicken (or a quail...forgot) with spaghetti. This dish is just bad...the quail was small-sized and with bone, took me quite some effort to "extract" the meat. The sauce was black in colour and I was pretty sure it was little more than super concentrated salt...to a point slightly bitter. The spaghetti was strangely stiff and coarse in the surface, with the sauce they coupled quite well as CRAP.

Wouldn't wanna try the dessert after the main dishes.

Disappointing meal.

男朋友book左枱慶祝我20歲生日~先講環境,樓底高+落地玻璃,又唔會好迫夾,good~點菜時個waiter仲搬埋成個餐牌入黎介紹,服務都唔錯丫~開始時有個麵包,可以磨d蒜蓉落橄欖油度點黎食,呢個一般la,不過送ge~~我地試左個pizza,sample size兩個人食arm arm好~pizza好脆~好好味!仲有茄汁芝士焗雲吞,d菜肉涵整到好碎,又唔漏,食到最尾雖然好飽都仲食得落~好味道~仲試左白汁芝士雜菌Angel Hair,呢個就麻麻地,個麵ge質感唔太好,食落仲覺得好漏..order左兩支果汁,士多啤梨汁好飲~男朋友支西柚汁就勁苦...Overall個感覺都好好~

好囉, 東涌終於有好嘢食囉!第一次嚟, 由免費提供的靚麵飽、橄欖油、橄欖和蒜頭粒已經令人眼前一亮. 自己將蒜頭粒磨落橄欖油度用嚟點麵飽, 好玩得嚟又好香好好食. :-)這裏的前菜portion 話到明好細, pasta 同pizza 亦有sample size 可供選擇, 對於食量唔大又想試多幾款o既食友就最理想. 試了兩個appertizers, 火腿唔錯, 紅椒仔釀吞拿魚亦好食. 另外試了肉醬意粉, 意粉相當有口感, 肉醬味道亦不俗, 可惜肉粒略嫌太老. 不個, 超正o既pizza 就無得彈, 餡料新鮮味美, 最重要係餅底香脆可口, 而sample size 價錢只係幾十, 相當超值.隔鄰的Essence 自助餐聽講經常fully booked, 睇嚟 Novotel 將係東涌美食天堂.
