I often stay in Kennedy Town. There are lots of great restaurants. Wong wong is one of them. Hong Kong style restaurant is not common in Kennedy town though. Lunch time見到咁爆場應該唔差得去邊,叫左個午市套餐-蒜香焗牛扒飯配熱咖啡,一叫完野店員就放低杯水,餐具同餐牌都係枱下面,方便攞同埋乾淨d枱面成張賭枱幾有特色。成個焗飯一送到黎都好夠熱,蒜蓉汁比較甜仲有d芝士係面,牛扒好淋易入口,如果有d西蘭花之類既配菜就更加好啦,炒底蛋絲唔算多但d飯夠乾身,熱咖啡正正常常冇特別,一路食先發覺原來好多人叫燒味,肥叉同沖繩黑糖豉油雞d燒味望落都幾吸引,下次再黎可以試一試。

作為經常買外賣油雞嘅我,只有一個好簡單嘅要求;就係唔好孤寒啲蔥,呢間嘅油雞其實質素唔錯,肉質夠嫩,而且多蔥都唔孤寒又唔會嗌晒加錢(可能因為佢賣貴同區十幾蚊至一倍不等)。可是,在一個非繁忙時間,沒有出餐壓力之下,竟然將淨雞(非油雞飯)的薑蔥直接倒落隻雞度而沒有獨立裝起,廚房造出來一隻靚雞就咁糟蹋了,這種發夢行為在這個價位是不能接受。所以大家有要求想買到質素有保證的食物,去幫襯時真係要金睛火眼望實唔係好易出事。

平心而論,燒鵝的部位選擇,以茶餐的價位而言,已算不吝嗇了;論皮脆肉嫩,對我而言可以接受,不過同伴認為灣仔「乜哥」的燒味更勝一籌,還是要改天再前往,比較一番!

店內除了有趣的枱飾,還擺放了大廚制服、烹飪大賽獎盃等,似乎是要告訴食客,這裡說的「贏」不是靠「賭」而是靠「拼」:不是「雙拼」,而是「比拼」。果如是,我希望見到更精采的表現。畢竟如今短兵相接的食肆戰場,優勝劣敗,若稍有差池、未能做到品牌的承諾,真係「冇運行」㗎!
