I don’t know why I went here but tried the sizzling spaghetti with beef.Unfortunately, the spaghetti was disappointing because it was too elastic which is not like the normal spaghetti.Anyway, the sauce didn’t taste good either because it was quite sweet.

喜歡pepper lunch,因為上餐快,食物質素與味道穩定,香噴噴,熱辣辣,很惹味。我這個餐的獨特之處是用了澳洲和牛,肉質較一般的優良。薯蓉很重牛油味,配上香甜的玉米簡直一絕。在實店裡食,有送餐服務,也有自助的飲水機。但如果飲品的選擇可以更多就好了。

今晚自己一個食飯,口淡淡想食惹味嘅,又吾想一個女仔食茶記炒野,經過pepper lunch,我就知道係你喇!嗌左個牛肉飯,吾洗好耐就有得食,成間店舖充滿香氣,嗅到口水流流,搵到個位坐底,見到我d牛肉半熟咁,粉紅色勁靚丫!撈起個飯,牛肉變熟,加埋我喜歡嘅粟米,加少少醬油,食得,其實我勁喜歡飯加粟米,甜甜地好正,吾係好耐,即刻食到一粒米都冇,太香太吸引啦!鐵板熱住上真係好正!但大家真係要小心整親,因為個鐵板真係好熱嫁!哈哈!!一個人食嘅晚餐,pepper lunch 又點止lunch食好呢?dinner嚟講味道,價錢very good丫!

第一次看到pepper lunch的實體店,而且可選擇的品種也比food court裡面多出不少。我和朋友點了一份珍寶牛肉飯和咖喱漢堡扒飯。珍寶牛肉飯雖其貌平凡無奇,可是在添加了該店所提供的醬料後,沁人心脾的香味撲面而來。牛肉片在鐵板的溫度下烤得滋滋作響。第一口便會食慾大振,吃在口中,肉的純香,飯的米香,粟米的甜味和醬料的香味交融在一起,味道妙不可言,口感上更是層出不窮。這個飯絕對值得一試。而咖喱漢堡扒飯,則比較令人失望,咖喱淡而無味,漢堡扒的肉也很粗糙,因此整體來說真的很差。

雖對Pepper Lunch沒好感,但又不至抗拒,加上第一次見這店不是出現在美食廣場裡,所以便和朋友去試試。正值假期和用膳時間,其他食店都跟Pepper Lunch一樣需要排隊輪候。在輪候機上按下輪候人數,列印機便會把你的資料列印在單上,再根據單上的輪候號碼叫號便可以進內用餐。店舖採用半自助形式。客人進內後需先到收銀處點餐,食物將會由店員送到桌上。若要拿餐具、調味醬汁和水,則要自行處理。點餐後不消五分鐘,店員把鐵板飯送上桌上,並講解了可以下甚麼調味和該如何攪拌鐵板飯。剛端上桌的黑椒三文魚飯中的三文魚還沒完全熟透,而且鐵板吱吱作響,燒烤味濃,看似吸引。馬上把自選的蜜糖汁和蒜汁和米飯一起攪拌,並小心煎好三文魚,以免過熟影響肉質。飯粒小小的,不死實,加上玉米粒,味道略帶甜。但它原本已有黑椒調味,再加上醬汁,吃到的只有一味兒的黑椒咸,什麼蜜味、蒜味統統都不見了。當然,味道是咸與否取決於自己下醬汁的份量,建議大家下次吃只加丁點兒醬汁,可以的話甚至不加,因為這飯對我這喜歡清淡口味的人來說未免過咸。三文魚品質不算太好,魚油不夠豐富。幸好味道還沒完全被醬汁蓋過,依舊能吃到三文魚原有的味道。吃罷飯餐看了

馬上把自選的蜜糖汁和蒜汁和米飯一起攪拌,並小心煎好三文魚,以免過熟影響肉質。
飯粒小小的,不死實,加上玉米粒,味道略帶甜。但它原本已有黑椒調味,再加上醬汁,吃到的只有一味兒的黑椒咸,什麼蜜味、蒜味統統都不見了。當然,味道是咸與否取決於自己下醬汁的份量,建議大家下次吃只加丁點兒醬汁,可以的話甚至不加,因為這飯對我這喜歡清淡口味的人來說未免過咸。
三文魚品質不算太好,魚油不夠豐富。幸好味道還沒完全被醬汁蓋過,依舊能吃到三文魚原有的味道。
吃罷飯餐看了看鐵板,油量剛好,不算太多。

鐵板飯是Pepper Lunch的賣點,既可試試自行炒鐵板飯,「即煮即吃」,又不用花太多時間用餐。不過我很怕滿身都是油煙味,而且這些餐點有點上火……這種玩意還是不合我吧!

At every table there are two sauces: honey brown sauce (Amakuchi) or garlic soy sauce (Karakuchi) to put on the steaks.
In my opinion the garlic soy sauce tastes better because I found the honey brown sauce too sweet.

This was the first time I enjoyed Pepper Lunch because the place did not reek of beef or the heated metal plates.
For the sizzling plates, you can pay extra and get a side dish such a mashed potatoes in gravy which I shall try next time.

This was surprisingly delicious because the chicken was not dry and it was the thigh part of the chicken.
The black pepper taste was strong and quite prominent against the curry sauce.
On top of the rice, there was sweet and crisp sweetcorn niblets which balanced out the spiciness of the curry and black pepper.

The caramel sauce was quite sweet and the yellow bean powder on the icecream balanced out the sweetness from the syrup.
