Unfortunately this is just another poor attempt at replicating Vietnamese food in Hong Kong. Their title dish, pho is neither complex or interesting, really just a big bowl of slightly flavored noodles. The biggest disappointment was the Vietnamese drip filter coffee. This was a poor imitation of Vietnamese coffee, it was weak, low grade with too much milk, although not sweet. More like HK milky coffee. Don't go here if you're looking for authentic Vietnamese food!

My previous office used to be in Hollywood road; when I craved for some Vietnamese food, i would always come over here! Their Raw Beef Noodle with Soup is the one I would always ordered!-Beef is Fresh and tender-Soup is rich in flavour-Noodle is just right, not too al dente and not just smashy-Mixed with onion and spring onionThis time, they have updated a new menu, I wondered whether I should stick to their Raw Beef Noodle with Soup or try sth new???? As I saw they do Laksa!!!And the waitress strongly recommend witht the Laksa with Prawn and noodles, so, ok, I went with what she suggested. However, this is a disappointmentThe prawn is too overcooked. The soup is not like a real Laksa, it is like curry power mixed with water. The noodle is too al dente. They are trying to be creative, however, Laksa is not a Vietnamese, they should stick with what they are good at.

Coming from Melbourne I have serious laksa cravings however as I know the standard of Hong Kong laksa I often end up getting pho!I live in Sheung wan and almost right between pho 1 and pho' 26.. It's an eternal struggle but pho' 26 generally wins, and with good reason! Today I got Lemongrass Pork Chop Pho and it was delicious! The pork chop came out separate which was great! It was not too much meat but enough! The broth however takes the cake here! The pho comes with bean sprouts and basil in it so you dont really need to add the chilli if you don't want! Same goes for the limes. The noodles were soft and slurpy which is an issue lots of people have but I honestly don't mind them like that! I love being able to slup the long rice noodles! The service is good, once they see you need something they are attentive and the food is cheap! At 41 dollars I'd take this pho over a fair few other HK places! Would I recommend it? Heck yes! Already have!!
