六月二十九日 (星期五)香港人喜歡吃越南湯河,一來價格相宜,二來較健康一向知道有越旺這家越南餐廳但在公司附近的灣仔店常常爆滿,所以今次我倆就來到上環皇后大道中的一家分店小店以家傳河內越南粉第三代為賣點,老闆在開店前更到河內拜師學藝,所以吃到的是較正宗的越南湯河時間尚早,來到時人流仍不多,當然不用等位但安坐了約十五分鐘,全店已滿,大熱天時,外面仍有不少人排隊,可見其受歡迎程度有別於一般越南菜,豬扒是薄切上枱與其說是豬扒,不如說其是豬肉更貼切無論如何,豬扒更易入口,而且每片豬肉都帶少許肥膏,充滿油脂甘香,同時亦不失香茅味道魚露甜甜酸酸,味道適中,相當惹味值得一提,不少越南菜館所賣的撈檬往往都是暖身這裡的則煮熟後再放涼,入口清爽彈牙,帶着魚露的酸甜味道,一流!留意到餐牌上推介這款喇沙河粉喇沙湯底做得出色,充滿搶味的椰香味道,也帶點微辣生蝦大大隻的,新鮮且肉質彈牙用上河粉,或許是最地道的食法,但用米線或是銀針粉可能會更掛湯,更搶味~價錢相宜,無論如何,是一家再來的越式菜館~

First of all, I'm from Los Angeles so already my reviews are from a different stand point but delicious food is universal. I had the beef ball pho. The broth was very flavorful and yummy. I liked the noodles but the metal chopsticks made it a little more difficult to pick up. I personally did not like the beef balls. The restaurant is very clean and there's plenty of seating with a few booths. We didn't have to wait to be seated. The servers were friendly and food was served very quickly. This is definitely a great place to stop in for a quick inexpensive meal. It's located very close to where I am staying so I will probably visit once more while I'm still here in Hong Kong.

星期六下午趕著參加一個攝影活動, 於是在場地附近找地方吃午餐, 條件是要快!! 發現這間位於轉角位置的越南餐館, 感覺蠻舒服, 於是便推門開餐~餐廳的設計有花過心思, 整體以淡色為主, 但包著主力柱的圓型圍身卻用上花卉圖案, 為客人帶來清新感覺 以快為先決目的, 當然不會點太花時間的功夫菜, 簡單點了一份飯餐和一份檬粉餐.香茅豬排飯先上, 豬排肉質唔錯, 不會炸得太油, 但稍嫌過瘦了一點, 舖面的香蒜和蔥油都合格, 以簡單午餐來說無投訴~湯檬粉選了蕃茄湯底, 雙餸選了熟牛肉和牛筋, 湯底蕃茄味不夠濃, 熟牛肉口感OK, 不鞋也不韌, 但牛肉味不突出; 牛筋有點特別, 不是坊間的一件件滑嘟嘟的, 而是把牛筋切成一片片, 視覺像一片火鍋用的魚片, 口感依然夠滑, 始終是牛筋, 不會不滑吧!! 檬粉味道可以, 清新爽口; 蕃茄檬粉同樣合格!!一餐飯不用30分鐘解決掉, 以快食午餐的標準來評價, 我真心給笑臉

其實那些圖文並茂的食評,我本人覺得有點相確…午餐食了一碗牛坑腩湯河,湯的熱度嘗算OK;那些葉的份量似乎太多了吧、個人不太喜歡!反而牙菜可以再多點;湯、無錯是幾好味,但太好味的湯,必定是加了很多味精… 結果、未食完已經好口渴! 間中也會來這間晚飯及午飯,其實,只是一間普通過普通的越菜罷了‧

今次安哥我察覺越旺的湯底及餸料質素有明顯進步,雖然價格比同區越南店貴,但仍值得我再次幫襯,也值得將它加入推介之列。

I had walked part this place many times and hadn’t really expected much from it. But it turned out to have some of the best Pho I’ve had in Hong Kong, full of the strong fresh flavours which make the dish so special.I believe that Pho should come overloaded with herbs and the version here didn’t disappoint. I believe that Pho should come overloaded with herbs and the version here didn’t disappoint. The noodles came with a huge pile of herbs and spring onion laid above the noodles. These slowly sank down into the broth giving it a really intense, earthy basil flavour that is so different from the water soup you get in a lot of places. There were also big clumps of lemongrass that added an extra, especially pleasing freshness and gave the broth more distinctiveness.

Some people might complain about the fact that this many herbs makes it harder to eat the noodles, but I’d much rather have this than loose all the flavour the herbs give. The pho perhaps could have done with a few more noodles in, but there was definitely enough to make is a satisfying porting. It also had a fairly generous amount of beef which, although not as tender as it could have been, wasn’t at all chewy like in some restaurants.

You can also get the special Kobe beef pho for $52 and a tomato sauce pho. Alongside these things, the restaurant has a pretty good selection of other Vietnamese dishes, like spring rolls and milk buns.

今日去咗越旺到試佢嘅越南湯河。我同同事叫咗一個生牛肉金邊粉同埋一個生牛肉牛筋牛腩金邊粉。個湯底無味,兼且好重味精(食完好口渴!)。個生牛肉牛筋牛腩金邊粉,佢將啲生牛肉放係最底,當我同事搵到個時,啲生牛肉已經熟晒。唯一可取嘅係,免費有得加底,同埋啲辣椒醬好味。如果以$35到嘅價錢食一碗越南湯河,同區有其他更好嘅選擇。另外,佢哋啲筷子好滑夾唔到啲粉。

上年初在灣仔蘭杜街"越旺",吃過我覺得最對辦的Pho,今次路過上環,來去匆匆,也要一試分店,看看與灣仔店有沒有分別?趁在中午飯時間之前來,避免了午餐的人潮,十二點來到,還可攤大隻手,霸住隔離個位,打下PSP.享受一下大戰前夕的時光.既然吃過Pho,今次自然又吃碗Pho.不再同上次一樣,牛肉同湯底另上那麼招積.牛河上到我面前,已經七成熟,面頭的盡是越南香草如鵝蒂,毛翁,個性極強,大多人受不了這陣如體臭的味道,我反而很喜歡,雖然香草味道強烈,但沒有搶去牛骨湯底的味道.喝下去湯底味道濃鮮.面頭的牛肉,份量不少,肉質嫩滑,點些"是拉差"吃,是一貫的吃法.河粉口感細滑,沒有黐埋一舊舊.三線水準平均,同灣仔店相若,仍是我吃過數一數二的牛河.如果花得起百多塊吃碗越式牛河的話,更有頂級肥牛河選擇.如果覺得這碗牛河賣三十二塊錢,仍覺得貴的話,可以在下午茶時間來,適逢周年紀念,有七折優惠.

另外我覺得入面d配料同我平時食o個d有d唔同..........所以我覺得ranking屬於普遍o者

不過lee間鋪頭開o向上環, 夜晚9點幾o既時候都坐左6成人已經算好旺啦!!! 下次再有機會可以試埋其他款式

本來今日想去中環走走, 先到生記食粥, 但原來生記是紅日休息, 在週圍走了一圈, 看到餐牌下午茶有8拆, 最後一試這間越南粉面店.點了一個香茅雞亦湯河及豬扒撈檬及凍檸荼雞亦湯河 - 雞亦略鹹, 沒什麼香茅味, 湯河上來時很熱, 而且提供金屬筷子, 食時要小心燙口, 湯河中加了很多香葉, 太多了, 好像加了生菜底豬扒撈檬 - 豬扒都是略為鹹了一點, 而且也頗肥, 不太好, 味道一般原價是要$34一碗, 雖然8折了, 但不包飲品, 算起來下午茶也要$34左右, 如此質素, 實在偏貴

Pho Tai 巳吃過了很多次,但越旺就一次都未食過,今晚打完波後便來越旺試下,在周五晚上座位也只有五成滿,不像 Pho Tai 那樣每晚都顧客盈門。 坐下後半開放式的厨房就在附近,但我完全嗅不到越式河粉店挑典型強烈的魚露味,這店的燈光像西餐廳調較得很暗,不像一般的越南河粉店般燈火通明。 越旺的價錢不算相宜,菜牌上最平宜的套餐包一杯普通餐飲,索價三十多四十元一客,竟然只是採用即食麵來煑,不是用正家越式河粉來做,有點揾笨之嫌。 想想來河粉店没來由竟不吃河粉而吃即食麵吧,便決定放棄這個最平的即食麵餐,其它河粉都要散叫,但加六蚊可加一杯普通飲品。我見門外的海報在推廣鮮蕃茄湯底的越南河粉,便問店員取來餐牌,餸料挑了地道的生牛肉及牛坑腩双拚湯河,再叫了杯凍咖啡,下單不久河粉便煑好送上,但竟連越南河粉基本的香葉及青檸也沒有一起送來,要待我主動問侍應取才送上一小碟香菜,裹面没有辣椒碎也没有青檸,更連蕃茜也不見,只有小量芽菜和九層塔,實在不像話了!環境太暗看不清楚生牛肉是否仍帶血紅色,見到有些肉邊帶羔的肉片,應該是牛坑腩吧,召來侍應來澄清,原來他們的坑腩是先切了片來煑,食落腩片煑得很腍身,還帶

環境太暗看不清楚生牛肉是否仍帶血紅色,見到有些肉邊帶羔的肉片,應該是牛坑腩吧,召來侍應來澄清,原來他們的坑腩是先切了片來煑,食落腩片煑得很腍身,還帶着豐腴的油脂香味,嫩滑得可跟生牛肉片媲美,鮮红色的蕃茄湯底很濃沃,茄味蓋過了較清淡的牛骨湯味,配上肉味頗濃的牛肉片及坑腩,味道其實也真的幾好,不過個人還是較喜歡原味牛骨湯底的越南河粉。 碗內餸料份量可不算輕,除河粉外有很多生牛肉片跟坑腩切片,份量足以作為一頓晚餐了。

以同樣價位在同區的Pho Tai 除河粉及飲品外,還包多一味越式小食如香矛豬扒或鷄翼,月等份量,在這兒再加上散叫十多廿元的小食,便最少要六十多元埋單,越旺的價饑實在太貴了,難怪食物不俗也只有這麽少捧場客,不過我倒也欣賞它這個創新口味的鮮茄湯底越南河粉,喜歡嚐新的食家也不妨來試試。
