餐牌上其實食物都算多元化,有湯粉、咖哩、越式米紙、豬頸肉、蔗蝦、粉包、沙律等等
先來是一個軟殻蟹米紙卷$88.用上天婦羅粉漿炸透軟殻蟹,包卷着香葉、牛油果在米紙同吃
油膩感減卻,入口蟹肉鮮明可見、只是個人有感伴上之醬汁較為特別,創新下用上特製醬汁加上橙汁
個人就不感恭維,我還是欣賞原始酸甜醬或魚露多點點

而(軟殻蟹米紙卷)本身就絕無問題

這是我和媽媽的飯堂。知道這裏平時或假日午餐或晚餐都大排長輪,我是很怕排隊等位的人,所以我喜歡平日非繁忙時間到此,比較清靜。今天兩點半來吃個late lunch。點了一個set lunch和一個蟹肉蝦片沙律。Set lunch有越式拼盤;拼盤有春卷、炸蟹鉗、雞肉串、香菇粉蒸卷、香芒雜菜米紙卷及青木瓜沙律。拼盤與我幾個月前食的一樣,其水準仍是保持一樣的高。蟹肉蝦片沙律是我在這裡的至愛,除有脆蝦片,蟹肉外,還有牛油果,薄荷䈎、青瓜等配料,醬汁清甜不膩。set lunch主菜是海鮮喇沙湯河粉,海鮮有魚塊、帶子、尤魚及蝦。相比早幾日在亞來街吃的海鮮喇沙麵,這裡的湯味道較棘,配料數量沒有那麼豐富,但用的海鮮也比較名貴,當然價錢也較亞來街貴。不過,在這間毗鄰溜冰場的Rice Paper,可一邊吃飯,一邊看別人溜冰,又可聽到流行歌曲及觀看music video,環境是十分舒適的。入座或訂位時建議大家指定坐近溜冰場那邊。埋單時,待應告知收銀server down了,暫不能結賬。我大概等了五至十分鐘,賬單才到枱上。

We visited this restaurant for lunch and we had to wait around 5 minutes for a table. This is not very long considering we arrived at peak hour and it is located in a busy shopping mall.
The restaurant offers a lunch special where we would receive an appetizer and a choice for the main meal. We could choose between a selection of noodle soups and a rice dish. I decided to order its raw beef rice noodle soup. We were told that it would be a 20 minute wait for the food to be cooked. But it ended up being much quicker!
The appetizer was a sample plate of the ones that are offered in the al la carte menu. The mango and vegetable rice roll was refreshing and tasty. I particularly enjoyed the satay chicken skewer as it was nicely seasoned. In terms of the raw beef noodle soup, it’s pretty much what you would expect from any other Vietnamese restaurant. It was not particularly special - but it does have many slices of beef. Which is great news for the meat lovers out there.
The environment was relaxing - decor was modern and comfortable. The service could have been better. We were seated in an area that was slightly partitioned off, so it was quite difficult to get the waiters’ attention. At one stage, one of the waiters looked at us with our hands in the air and simply walked away. Needless to say, that was quite disappointing. The price was $90 per person for the lunch special - not expensive, but you could certainly find other places that offer the same dishes for a much lower price.
Overall, I consider this to be an average restaurant. Thai and Vietnamese is a popular cuisine in Hong Kong, so Rice Paper definitely has some tough competition around that offers delicious food but at lower prices. However, it is a restaurant where you could sit comfortably and chat for hours on end. If you are just looking for a place to fill your stomach, I would advise you to look for other places.

星期六晚和友人來又一城搵食, 當然要先訂位以免輪侯一兩個小時呢...訂座前先參考了openrice的幾個食評, 知道有一邊的座位是望向溜冰場的, 所以特意要求訂這邊, 景觀開揚, 座椅又特別大張, 啱晒我呢啲身形略為胖胖的人仕, 食都食得開胃啲... 我哋叫咗冬蔭功湯, 拼盆, 菠蘿炒飯, 一杯果汁同甜品黑糯米, 食物質素唔錯, 冬蔭功湯本為一人份, 我們兩個女的, 用小碗分都夠兩位用, 酸酸辣辣而且有一只大頭蝦, 好滋味呢! $65元好像有點貴但朋友一開始就說想飲這個湯, 當然要叫一客! 值或不值就閣下自行判斷了! 拼盆有蔗蝦, 串燒, 軟殼蟹, 粉包同米紙卷, 價錢又係感覺有點貴, 但食過就明白了, 樣樣都唔錯! 菠蘿炒飯勝在用料多, 腰果蝦仁燒菠蘿青口魷魚樣樣有, $98大元, 算OK啦! 服務方面, 侍應大部份是後生仔女, 手腳勤快但餐店地方確幾大, 要走來走去人人都有點忙, 要加水取醬料舉咗手都要等一會, 都叫'有求必應'雖然要等, 但侍應態度都ok, 至少無咩黑面又唔會'扮睇唔到', 在現今餐飲業提供的慣性低服務標準來看已是尚好, 可接受的.


總括而言, 要在這商場舒舒服服食一餐, 這兒確是一個好地方, 但切記要預早訂枱, 否則要在店外排隊, 週末一小時是少不免的, 價錢方面比去九龍城貴兩三成, 但大家都明地方格局係要花錢買的, 九龍城區可能坐圓櫈, 可能四圍嘈到爆, 呢度係好悠閒好Relax去享受你的晚餐, 所以唔同消費各有捧場客! 間中來這裡是不錯的選擇!

昨天是好朋友生日, 為了跟他補祝生日, 特地帶他來這裡, 新嘗越式料理, 我自己來過幾次, 覺得值得推介, fresh一下~~朋友想吃蔗蝦, 本想叫越式拼盆, 但又怕吃不下全個, 於是就叫了一隻蔗蝦。頭盤當然不止蔗蝦那麼簡單, 還有大蝦米紙卷~~~這個我也是第一次試, 以往我會點豬肉蒸粉包, 因為試過幾次, 對這裡的蒸粉包, 米紙卷都很有信心, 所以今次試試大蝦米紙卷~~真的, 不騙你, 這裡有五個, 每個裡面都有一只很大的蝦在裡面~!!還有包著青瓜絲, 紅菜頭絲, 蘿蔔絲, so refreshing~~~加上醬汁, 是很開胃的餐前小吃~~到主菜了!!!當然點了幾乎我每次來這裡都會吃的「炒牛柳粒紅飯」啦~~~朋友一向對茄汁炒的飯都不大興趣, 但他也覺得這個很好吃~~牛柳粒雖不至於入口溶化, 但一點都不韌~~不過, 這純粹個人意見而已。另外一個必點的就是咖哩牛腩這裡的咖哩不太辣, 不會有椰汁甜甜的味道, (本人最討厭就是那些下了椰汁的咖哩...)你可以選配白飯, 小法包, 還有蒜蓉包我們選了小法包。我知道有些客人會選蒜蓉包來搭配, 但我怕包本身的蒜味會蓋過咖哩的香味, 不過這也純粹個人

真的, 不騙你, 這裡有五個, 每個裡面都有一只很大的蝦在裡面~!!
還有包著青瓜絲, 紅菜頭絲, 蘿蔔絲, so refreshing~~~
加上醬汁, 是很開胃的餐前小吃~~

到主菜了!!!
當然點了幾乎我每次來這裡都會吃的「炒牛柳粒紅飯」啦~~~

Other Info. : 食店內的裝修主要以木地板, 白色磚牆, 粉藍色, 藍色為主調, 很有渡假屋的氣氛喔^^ 座位舒服, 有足夠的空間感, 不需要擔心說話太大聲會滋擾到旁邊的客人。 因為朋友對於要「等位食飯」不太耐煩, 所以我之前已經預訂了座位。 美中不足的是, 服務員跟我說, 要我們準時到, 因為他們不會hold枱的。 這個要改善囉~~~

要了個生牛肉湯檬,牛肉上台時還是粉嫩嫩的顏色,非常漂亮~~~
生牛肉非常嫩,切的厚度適中,一點不會老或咬不動,而且超有牛肉味,正!

至於撈檬嘛,本來想吃雞絲撈檬的,不過竟然沒有!那就要了豬排撈檬,也不錯啊~
豬排比想像中大塊,而且比想像中嫩幾千百倍,豬排並不是後切的,但是口感同樣的好,豬肉香里還瀰漫著炭燒的香氣;撈檬其實就是凍檬,凍凍爽口的檬粉淋上酸酸甜甜的醬汁,配上爽脆新鮮蔬菜,一撈,即開胃又好吃,夏天就要吃這樣的菜!

燒豬頸肉也很不錯,本來以為一碟就只有一塊塊切片的豬頸肉,想不到還會有2串豬頸肉串燒!一肉兩吃,兩種口感很不一樣;切薄片的豬頸肉比較容易咬開,很嫩而且很多汁;串燒的豬頸肉比較有筋度,紮實一點但還是很Q彈,可能是比較“後切”的關係吧,不過兩種吃法都一流!

越式拼盤裡什麼都有,蔗蝦,青瓜米紙捲,香菇粉卷包,串燒,炸軟殼蟹
蔗蝦,很Q很彈牙,帶一點甜味,配上甜酸醬balance得剛剛好

青瓜米紙捲,米紙捲的米紙皮是QQ的,很有嚼頭但一點也不硬,軟軟的皮配上爽脆新鮮又甜的青瓜絲非常夏天也非常好吃
香菇粉卷包,裡麵包的不只香菇,還有糯米和豬肉碎,粉卷包的皮同樣Q同樣有嚼頭,香菇的味道最香最出最濃,QQ的皮里面塞糯米,感覺很特別,外面煙韌,裡面綿密糯糯的,湯圓妹對於糯米製品完全沒有抗拒能力,把兩個粉卷包都吃了
串燒是雞肉的,上面有淋上秘製沙嗲醬,like!雞肉超嫩超多汁;而沙嗲醬就充滿濃郁的花生香味,不會太辣,小朋友也能吃~~~
炸軟殼蟹是這拼盤的另一焦點,熱辣辣的軟殼蟹,外面非常酥脆,至於里面...爆黃!爆汁!爆肉!一點沒誇張的,軟殼蟹啖啖肉,不會像一般的那樣只有殼你吃,可能季節剛剛好吧,蟹黃多得不得了!從來沒吃過這麼紮實飽滿的軟殼蟹,半只半只開邊炸,熱氣但過癮!
