The food at this place can be fifty/fifty!Sometimes it is good, sometimes it can be bad.On this visit it was bad!There was only one improvement, the sauces did not spill out from the containers this time!★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★Fried Vietnamese sausage with white curry sauce:The Vietnamese sausage looked more like a fish cake but the main problem was that the frying oil was rancid and the taste of the sausage was disgusting!The white curry sauce tasted ok, there was a strong grounded ginger taste in it, but it was made with quite a lot of lard, therefore quite fattening.★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★

很不愉快的午餐。原本去另一間位於謝菲道的馬來西亞餐廳午飯,但因太多人輪候,於是在謝菲道逛來逛去,終於進入了此店。那時候不需輪候,但餐廳內也不算少人﹣心想︰應該不會太差吧!然後我們三人便看餐牌,然後點午餐。香茅豬扒金邊粉$38/香茅豬扒河粉$38/越式湯金邊粉$40,名字很正常;熱奶茶/凍檸水/凍咖啡,這都是普通的飲品﹣但出自於此店的都變得十分不一樣。1)香茅豬扒﹣少許香茅味,很乾。2)湯底奇怪味,是灰色的;3)金邊粉:外形奇怪,質感/闊度不似正常的金邊粉,味道還...是奇怪甜味4)所謂越式,只有扎肉是較為接近正常。5)凍檸水:糖水多、杯子不見得乾淨6)凍咖啡︰一半奶,三分一啡,三分一糖水﹣可憐的同事說從來未喝過此等咖啡7)熱奶茶︰較為正常,但又是那問題﹣杯子不見得乾淨8)所有筷子都是即棄木筷子,一來不環保,二來不知木筷子的製作源頭9)食肆環境狹窄,侍應們對於顧客所落的餐單混亂至極10)每次出菜或飲料,侍應們都是繞場幾周才知道是那位顧客我們很不明白為何這樣的餐廳都可以有如此多的人流...難以理解。結論是︰Happy Friday變得不再Happy。不會再光顧!

本人係一個從來都唔寫食評嘅人, 原因係唔喜歡寫文章同一個字賴。 不過今次唔寫唔得,因為喺一年幾前巳經答應咗老闆會給他食評,最近老闆又問我寫咗末,攪到我同我啲同事都唔好意思, 話寫話寫,寫咗成年都未寫,所以今次一定要落筆啦!回歸正題其實我同我一班同事大大話話都已經幫襯咗有三四年食lunch啦, 每隔一星期我哋都會去幫襯吓, 老闆份人好好, 好風趣,好勤力樣樣都做(一腳踢)。食物方面其實差唔多樣樣都食過,overall 嚟講都ok, 價錢都好合理如果唔係我哋點會幫襯咗咁多年呀。直得誠意推介一定係白咖喱,香茅豬扒同炸魚柳, 真係好好食, 至於生牛可粉味道一般,未至於好差但又未至於好食,主要原因係湯底牛肉味唔夠濃但味道都可以, 如果湯底再濃啲味就perfect啦! 其他小吃如越式春卷,炸蝦餅同粉包都值得一試。至於剛剛推出的撈通心米線,本人就覺得麻麻啦! 總結味道係過得去嘅, 老闆service 喺一流嘅!

一如其他在灣仔的食肆,午膳時間同樣擠迫。點了一碗牛肉湯河,賣相麻麻地,牛肉片只有聊聊數片,並黐埋一堆,口感韌,無乜肉香,仲要成$3X,唔抵食!未知沙嗲湯底會否好一點吧?!

24-7-2009到年年都去的書展同人迫餐懵, 2:15pm 到灣仔先食個 lunch. 見「下午茶餐」menu 菜色又越又泰又港式公仔麵, 為「求生」, 穩陣一點叫個雞絲凍檬 + 凍檸水 (「越式雞絲湯河」下午茶餐 $24, 轉凍檬 + $4; 凍飲 + $2) 吧.凍檬份量唔少,「雞絲」切成粒狀, 面頭灑上大量芝麻. 落一圈魚露拌勻食, 魚露味道係少少少少少辣, 及一味酸, 撈埋酸蘿蔔, 無乜味的蔥茸, 及硬硬又帶點雪味 (!!!) 的雞絲, 味道麻麻, 開胃搭夠. 不過大熱天時食一碗又凍又酸嘅粉, 點都好過食公仔麵食到身水身汗吧.茶記格局的呢度光猛乾淨, 不過撞正拖地時間, 一路食一路聞住 chlorine 味, 都幾辛苦, 食完快閃好了.放低 $30, 出去繼續迫, 唉...
