Prawn, avocado, lobster jelly, romaine leaves - I'm probably sticking with this starter until they take it off the menu. Very lovely texture and fragrance coming from the lobster jelly and creamy avocado. Each layer has a slightly different bite and contrasting texture to it (thanks to the diced prawns) and I just love the sprinkling of paprika on top. Perfect to go with the chilled romaine leaves (Grade: 4.5/5).

Escargots fricassée with Pastis and tomato sauce - Jelloman wanted this dish badly and who could fault her for this (I would have taken this as my second dish too if not for the fact that I have had it a number of times already).

White "Paris" mushroom soup, fresh goat cheese foam - Some say Epuré has got the best white Paris mushroom soup in town but looks like Chef Olivier is catching up fast. This is silky smooth and very aromatic. I like the very rich mushroom flavors though a touch of truffle (or truffle oil) would probably bring this to another level (Grade: 3.5/5).

Hokkaido seared scallops, tomatoes and pesto butter - For the first time this afternoon, everyone was on the same page as we all agreed on the main dish here. Well, this is a no-brainer considering how well this kitchen delivers their seafood dishes.

The Hokkaido scallops were pretty nicely done. The supporting cast of fresh tomatoes and pesto butter was good though not spectacular (Grade: 3.5/5).

Guanaja 70% chocolate cream and Cassis coulis, pistachio ice-cream - As much as I love the peach and plum soup, I wanted to try something different this time around. So in comes the chocolate cream, cassis coulis and pistachio ice-cream.

This was just OK. I am a sucker for pistachio ice-cream (actually anything made with pistachio) so that part was alright but the chocolate cream was slightly disappointing. It felt like having a Magnum chocolate bar in a circular shape more than anything else (Grade: 3/5).

Once again, I really enjoyed my meal here. As a matter of fact, out of all my recent visits to Seasons so far, the level of cuisine has been consistently high. Given the relatively acceptable price tag ($318 for 3-course) and Michelin star pedigree, it's difficult not to come back for more.

其實經過三道菜已經好飽,但食法國菜點可以冇甜品呢?! 我地叫左心太軟同埋朱古力mousse 配開心果仁雪糕,心太軟好濃郁,唔太甜,又夠滑,加埋云呢拿雪糕中和左心太軟好溜既感覺!good!至於chocolate mousse加開心果仁雪糕,我覺得雪糕好味,開心果既味道好強烈,但chocolate mousse佢包左一層dark chocolate係出面,我覺得朱古力既感覺太over,個人唔太喜歡。

整體嚟講我覺得好正,好飽,好滿足,其實份量可以減dd會比較好
另外服務態度亦一流,環境亦好,但可能因為樓底唔高,覺得有少少嘈,但可能咁既原因,冇咁拘謹,所以可接受!

Poor reservations management & Poor waitstaff attitude!!!

I enjoyed the food at this restaurant but was very upset by their reservations management. Not once, but twice was my reservation messed up by them.

1st time was a few months back when they seated another group of guests at my reserved table, claiming that that group had made a reservation under the same name. My family and I had to be seated temporarily elsewhere and then moved to a proper sized table later on. I didn't make a fuss that night as I thought it could have been an honest mistake.

Today, my family showed up and the host said there was no reservation under my name or number. I was running late and basically there were some back & forth between the host and my relatives about temporary outdoor seating otherwise possibly no tea sets available if seated indoors (which I thought was very ridiculous as it sounded like a threat and really wanted them to leave). The restaurant insisted that they did not receive my call, so when I arrived, I approached the manager with my phone record showing the time and date of when the reservation was made. We were seated, but he was defensive and replied they must have been fully booked by that time. He then gave me his card and asked me to contact him directly for any future reservations, but there was no apologies and no admitting of error at all.

Once again, the food was nice, but the attitude from the waitstaff from order taking to food delivery and bill payment was horrible with long unfriendly faces.

I doubt I'll return again as dining experience should be a holistic enjoyment. I did not appreciate the way we were treated and the defensive attitude from the manager.

這夜身體有點不舒服,於是乖乖淺嚐一下過過癮就好了。我第一杯酒的quota就給了Cape Mentelle Cabernet Merlot 2013。Cabernet Sauvignon + Merlot這一剛一柔配的紅酒,入口圓潤平衡, 細膩的成熟黑果香突出,單寧溫和,相當不錯。不過拍照過後轉頭烤羊架亦缺貨,所以這夜未能即場體驗pairing效果。

而我另外的quota,就是給了Boroli Barolo 2010,這款紅酒入口豐富成熟紅果香,酒的風格強勁亦較複雜,我很喜歡。酒的單寧與酸度與鹹香及甘香油潤的36個月西班牙Bellota黑毛豬風乾火腿相當夾,確是很好的配對呢。

Was VERY DISAPPOINTED with the service of Season by Olivier E at Lee Garden II today, there was a private event at the back of the restaurant, however the movers and staff from the private event was walking back and forth moving stuffs from the storage of the restaurant which was located at the front end, as such the guests including me and my friends who sat between the front end and back end were totally disturbed, the movers pulling the racks, the carton boxes, plastics tapes wrapping sounds,
