Poor reservations management & Poor waitstaff attitude!!!
I enjoyed the food at this restaurant but was very upset by their reservations management. Not once, but twice was my reservation messed up by them.
1st time was a few months back when they seated another group of guests at my reserved table, claiming that that group had made a reservation under the same name. My family and I had to be seated temporarily elsewhere and then moved to a proper sized table later on. I didn't make a fuss that night as I thought it could have been an honest mistake.
Today, my family showed up and the host said there was no reservation under my name or number. I was running late and basically there were some back & forth between the host and my relatives about temporary outdoor seating otherwise possibly no tea sets available if seated indoors (which I thought was very ridiculous as it sounded like a threat and really wanted them to leave). The restaurant insisted that they did not receive my call, so when I arrived, I approached the manager with my phone record showing the time and date of when the reservation was made. We were seated, but he was defensive and replied they must have been fully booked by that time. He then gave me his card and asked me to contact him directly for any future reservations, but there was no apologies and no admitting of error at all.
Once again, the food was nice, but the attitude from the waitstaff from order taking to food delivery and bill payment was horrible with long unfriendly faces.
I doubt I'll return again as dining experience should be a holistic enjoyment. I did not appreciate the way we were treated and the defensive attitude from the manager.
