Roasted Langoustine, mashed Celeriac 'Soufflé' with Truffle Butter, Nasturtium & Fried Celeriac

The smooth celeriac souffle mash was a contrast to the fried celeriac on top. The Langoustine was already de-shelled and had a nice grilling flavor.

Pigeon Leg & Breast with Goose Foie Gras, Cabbage with Perigourdine Sauce,

My favorite dish. Apart from the perfectly cooked Pigeon which was evenly pink rare, I also liked how the meat was gamey enough but just rightly so, as sometimes they could taste a bit too 'Wild'. The fried cabbage added some texture.

Aged Truffle Camembert. Served with Salad and Caramelised Walnuts -

The lettuce salad leaves and dressing was actually really tangy refreshing, crunchy. The honeyed walnuts almost felt like the ones in a Hotel Chinese restaurant. The Brie tasted strong, ripened and unpasteurized, and definitely a top grade one from an artisanal Affineur de Fromage.

Chocolate & Hazelnut Gianduja Entremet, Black Truffle Ice Cream -

Surprisingly the ice cream within had a fairly strong truffle taste. This was my other favorite Course, expertly executed with the entremet cake layerings, and the almost brandy snap alike crispy biscuit roll is addictive. Apparently one of their Pastry Chefs has recently won a 1st Prize in an International Competition too, so congratulations !

At only HKD $1,288 for the 6 Course French Truffle Menu -

This represented great value for money, especially when the Sea Urchin & Balik Salmon Box alone is more than $400 by A La Carte. I am already thinking of coming back for more as I saw some recipes which are new and interesting to me to try, the good thing is that the space is bigger here, so there are slightly more chances of securing a table with 1-2 days in advance. (One of the reasons why I hardly do Fine Dining nowadays, as my schedule is a bit too last minute nowadays.)

今年情人節喺到慶祝,可能因為係節日關係,所以要預先落$1000訂先confirmed booking,dinner係有4 個course,整體每樣係好食嘅,食材新鮮,影相𠱓like冇難度,hahaha..........但係份量真係好少,撞啱我今日有少少唔舒服,冇乜胃口,就緊緊夠食,但我諗如果我冇唔舒服,胃口正常嘅話就真係完全唔夠食,之後應該要喺附近搵茶記追加碟飯先夠飽!但係如果個女仔係好細食同埋志在坐低傾下計聚下,想坐得舒服,呢到都係其中一個好選擇!

咸食好特別,尤其係個磨菇同三文魚啫喱
甜食我鍾意食巴黎泡芙圈,濃又香口嘅花生醬朱古力咖啡醬忌廉都好突出,個醬有好濃郁咖啡味但又唔會話蓋過朱古力味,口感好豐富
鬆餅又做得好好,平時出邊食,會感覺好漏,但呢2個又唔會喎
但蘋果玉桂慕絲就唔太識得欣賞,口感麻麻,好似唔太meet呢個high tea咁


不過睇返openrice 食評,應該間中轉menu
所以下次食可能又有驚喜

5: 味道:甜點好過鹹點,起碼 scones 微暖,脆脆地,但 cream/jam勁小氣,真係要慳慳地搽。咖啡 mousse 勁勁勁勁甜。完全唔覺得齒頰留香嗰種 feel。FAIL

6: 唯一覺得唔差的係環境。舒服嘅,夜晚情調都好。以前來過吃晚餐,感覺好有水準(脆焦糖片鵝肝印象深刻)。點知咁聞名嘅 tea 係咁失望的。

7: 睇相片係咪覺得好靚呢?又真係幾靚嘅。啱曬 IG 女神們。味道好不好,真係如人飲水 冷暖自知。

My husband and I went for dinner tonight, everything was ok except when my main course came. i have ordered a crab meat ravioli and when I cut half of it to try and it was cold. I returned it and one of the head staff came and asked me to pick another main course. I told him that I like the ravioli and it was just cold so he said they will refire another one for me. It is absolutely ridiculous and I can't believe such a high end restaurant will do something like this. The assistant manager came to apologize and wanted to offer us a free dessert but I was so angry and upset and just asked him for the bill. It was my worst dining experience ever and I will never go back again.

咸點共3層,今次覺得咸點特別差左。Seasons迷你漢堡、龍蝦啫喱、芝士火腿三文治、法式炸蝦多士,最欣賞龍蝦啫喱,口感滑而清新,唔錯。

整體覺得食物要多點新意,水準要keep住對食客黎講好重要㗎,暫時應該過一下冷河,一段時間黎再返黎睇下有冇驚喜先 (笑)

My friends and I went for the afternoon tea and it was pretty bad service to begin with that no one approached us when we arrived. And the waiter we had was pretty bad mannered, we asked whether the portions were big or small and he responded with a quirky remark saying we are young and could finish it. My friends and I went for the afternoon tea and it was pretty bad service to begin with that no one approached us when we arrived. And the waiter we had was pretty bad mannered, we asked whether the portions were big or small and he responded with a quirky remark saying we are young and could finish it. It went worse when my friend asked whether it's to choose either coffee or tea for the afternoon tea and he responded with you could get both if you pay for it. To be honest, they should get a better waiter for this one Michelin star restaurant. With a waiter like that, it's like any typical 茶餐廳 type of restaurant. For the price we pay to dine in that place, please have the courtesy to treat your customers better and with respect!

With a bad service and the food must work even harder to gain a better rating however it did not satisfy. I hope the restaurant could review their front liners to their customers.

I've always liked seasons because of its location and the fact that the seating arrangement is not too crowded like some other French restaurants like CWB. Started off with a cocktail they made, one of my favorite scotch based cocktail named after the movie "blood and sand", pretty well made and not bad for an aperitif. I've always liked seasons because of its location and the fact that the seating arrangement is not too crowded like some other French restaurants like CWB.

Started off with a cocktail they made, one of my favorite scotch based cocktail named after the movie "blood and sand", pretty well made and not bad for an aperitif.

So I picked their 4 course tasting menu. Starter was a 5 spice tuna, with a hint of Japanese fusion, half raw tuna pieces. I enjoyed it a lot. (90 pts)

Middle course was their signature escargot. I'm never disappointed by this dish. The sauce was rich and delicious. (85 pts)

Main course was a prawn masala risotto. I've got to say the semi southeast Asian fusion was a rather interesting one. I thought it was a little too heavy but certainly cannot complain about the taste of it. (88 pts)

Overall speaking, Seasons is a pretty chill place that's good for a less formal French dinner, somewhere between bistro and fine dinning. I wouldn't think I would ever have a formal work related dinner here nor would I have a "I need to get drunk tonight" dinner here.

Oh yes one more thing, I do think their set is pretty good value for money. I've been to other French restaurants in the same area that is more expensive with a more inferior food quality and service.

鹹點一共有五款,從最底層說起。法式芝士火腿三文治經炸過後,外面的麵包顯得脆身,中間的火腿芝士亦帶鹹香,但亦沒有特別之處。另一款不看餐牌,還以為是蝦丸,但原來是法式炸蝦多士,但吃起來的感覺就是炸蝦丸,炸得香口,亦能吃到蝦肉,頗有彈性。

中間層的龍蝦啫喱是我很期待的,因為我真的很愛很愛吃龍蝦,吃下去真的有驚喜!還以為最多只有丁點龍蝦肉,想不到內裡真的有三兩啖龍蝦肉,富有咬口,加上牛油果在底層,整體感覺更為香滑。最上層的烚蛋釀鴨肝忌廉,鴨肝味道頗為濃烈,亦帶有一點點腥味,適合較為重口味之人;另一款的迷你漢堡與其他高茶相比亦不算迷你,中間夾有牛肉,酸瓜,蕃茄,蔬菜,牛肉稍微有點乾,牛肉味亦不算濃,但幸好有其他配菜能稍為增加濕潤度和調味,麵包亦有稍為烘過,帶出芝麻香,亦增加口感,整體感覺不過不失。

甜點全放在實而不華的木箱中,共有六款,連同鬆餅和醬料。先說士多啤梨馬卡龍,我不太吃得到士多啤梨味道,只吃到甜味。檸檬忌廉閃電泡芙頗不錯,檸檬味突出,酸甜度適中,泡芙外皮厚度剛好,有鬆脆感。朱古力沙加蛋糕上面的裝飾太硬,咬了一口便吃不下去,朱古力濃郁,但甜度稍為高,有點失色了。宇治抹茶蛋糕上面的彩色裝飾與朱古力蛋糕有相同問題,也是太硬,亦吃不到什麼特別的味道,所以也放棄了,抹茶味道帶點回甘,但可能放得久一點,有點軟身了。再來是咖啡啫喱,這個本身沒有多大期望,反而味道頗為驚喜,嘴唇裝飾是以白朱古力弄的,出奇地好吃,不過甜亦很脆,中間的咖啡cream灑上了nuts碎,增加口感層次,底層的咖啡啫喱真的富有咖啡香,連不太好啫喱的我亦能吃光!

而整頓的亮點是鬆餅!我一向最重視高茶的就是鬆餅,我的友人先吃鬆餅,然後便讚不絕口,令我急不及待試試。我先吃提子鬆餅,先切一半塗上clotted cream 和果醬,一吃下去雙眼真的睜大了,Scones超級富有牛油鹹香,不是平時那種乾乾的,亦是我吃過的口感最鬆化的! 真的非常好吃! 即使不塗clotted cream 和果醬已十分美味! 現在一邊打,亦一邊回味着鬆餅的滋味呢!

其實意外收穫的,是這高茶中與的相伴的淑女們,最後還為我補上遲來了差不多半年的生日卡呢!她們的作風一向也是始料不及的,這也是她們可愛之處! 希望即使在不同的地方工作,仍能不時相聚!
Other Info. : 值得一提的是這裡的服務很不錯,一位服務生為我們點飲品,由另一位侍應奉上茶時,他竟然知道我們各人點了什麼茶,細問下便知道他們有作記號,他們既不用煩擾到我們,我們亦不用把茶移動,確是細心的服務,有些酒店亦未必做到呢! 值得一讚!
