I like Shanghai Po Po. I've eaten at their Tuen Mun location, back when I lived in Tuen Mun (only a few weeks ago!), and I've eaten twice at their Citywalk location, now that it's just downstairs from me.
Not all the food is suited for a Western palette, but none of it is terrible, and it's a great place to try new and interesting things. Here's what I had today for lunch (with my wife):
Hot and sour soup, string beans with salty egg yolk, chili dumplings, and some sort of shredded pork dish served in a sesame bun (I would look it up, but the website for Shanghai Po Po is very Chinese, in that it's maximally showy with a minimal amount of information (who shows only one dish from each section of the menu on their "menu" page? Don't call it a menu if it's not a menu.)
The hot and sour soup was good, but we ordered the big bowl and should have ordered the small. A big bowl is more than enough for two people, if that's all you're having. It was of tofu and mushrooms and other goodies, but it wasn't very spicy. 6/10
The string beans with salty egg yolk. Just like it says: high in cholesterol and high in sodium. I could eat a handful of them, but not nearly half of what came. This was our "vegetable" dish, but it was probably less healthy and more heavy than some meat dishes. Worth trying, but not worth getting again. 3/10
The chili dumplings were good, but still disappointing. They had no heat at all. I love spicy, and these weren't even marginally spicy. I'm gonna knock them for false advertising: 5/10.
The shredded pork and sesame buns were a lot like Chinese hot pockets. I thought they were good, but it was just pork + sauce in a bun, not much else. And some of the pork was overly chewy. 5/10
I know I didn't rate anything here particularly well, but I still love this restaurant. I could order the stuff I know I like and then I'd have high marks for each of the dishes. Instead, I try to try new things each time, with the result that sometimes nothing is to my liking. Also, I take it that it's pretty authentic, and I, as a Westerner, am just not used to a lot of the stuff (e.g. salty egg yolk). The one objectively bad feature is that things advertised as 'spicy' are not spicy. The staff is very friendly and accommodating to ignorant white people who speak no Cantonese, so that's a bonus.
All in all, 7/10
