This continues to be the best vegetarian Indian restaurant in Hong Kong. Dhaal makani, palak paneer, bangen bhartha all excellent. Very friendly service. I have been over 30 times and always had an excellent time.

紅勵食素真係好方便,除左大酒店附近其實都有好多素食餐廳,今日lunch無帶飯,所以出去諗住食個無肉嘅車仔麵就算,點知行行下見到呢間印度素食,又唔多人就入去試下,叫左個set lunch,一碗咖哩豆,一碗咖哩雜菜,可以叫唔辣,一碟飯,兩塊薄餅,一杯印度奶茶,咖哩豆唔錯,印度奶茶比較有印象,好香好滑,個印度老闆識講中文,幾nice,埋單$55,咁就食左個印度green lunch喇!

大概三,四個月前, 見到喺呢條茶餐廳/快餐店林立嘅食街內,呢日午餐就來試下啦! 呢類印度人開嘅店裡面通常都唔多講究, 呢間都唔例外, 食堂格局, 而一般呢種印度快餐店亦唔會太多客人, 半滿已經算是唔錯嗰種,試咗一個午餐 $55 食物有沙律(青瓜/甘筍條), 一般印度食店都供應呢種沙律, 沙律醬則是傳統的乳酪醬, 有些食店會將乳酪跟薄菏葉打成一個青綠色嘅乳酪汁, 個人比較喜歡那種帶點薄菏清香嘅沙律汁, 可惜這店沒有做那綠色醬汁! 燴黃豆&雞心豆 Dal & Channa 其實呢兩類荳類絕非昂貴食材而且非常飽肚的, 但他們就往往是一小碟而這裏的就更細碟, 另一碟是咖哩薯仔份量同樣細得驚人, 白米飯一小碟, 咖哩味道是可以的,件即做的簿餅比一般的少油但外皮帶一點脆, 樣子雖則好普通但這是個有內涵嘅簿餅, 非常之出色嘅餅,攞番唔少分!反而杯餐茶- 例牌要的香料奶茶, 有薑味之餘亦夠香料同茶味, 反而杯餐茶- 例牌要的香料奶茶, 有薑味之餘亦夠香料同茶味,

I was really pushing my comfort zone with this one, the shop was entirely empty when I arrived, that's always a little intimidating but once through the door the waiter was very friendly. I ordered palak paneer (I couldn't figure out what I wanted so went for my safe option), and two chapattis. I ordered palak paneer (I couldn't figure out what I wanted so went for my safe option), and two chapattis. The waiter was very attentive to my preferences, she asked how spicy I liked it, if I was ok with onions and garlic in the sauce.  

Before my food arrived I was served a dish of chopped cucumber and carrot with a cool dip and then after about ten minutes the food arrived. This place is not a fancy Indian restaurant what it is, is a place which does nicely cooked, wholesome and fresh dishes. My palak paneer had a wonderful, thick spinach sauce full of chewy chunks of paneer cheese and some slivers of softened onion it was mildly spicy (as I had requested), which was good for the ingredients. The chapattis were warm and freshly cooked and although the portion looks small I left feeling nicely satisfied (and with room for dessert a couple of hours later). As is always the car with Chinese and Indian cuisine it would be so much better to have a dinner mate to share with but luckily I never get bored of a good palak paneer. 

There are two vegetarian Indian restaurants in this tiny part of Hung Hom, both serving tasty vegetarian dishes at a reasonable price, if only they were a little easier to access!

店內的其他兩台客人, 都是印巴籍, 十分道地的印度食物 (你問我: 唔係印度人, 又未係印度住過, 你點知係道地呀!?!?!.....哈哈…米就係個印籍阿叔話我知囉….哈哈..), 口味, 當然不及尖沙咀一些已經調改過適合香港人的印度餐廳, 但仍然不錯. 以此區的價錢, 唔平, 睇嚟除了自己友和西人幫襯外, 唔多香港人會入去食午餐... 小店經營, 唔係完美, 都比個"Good"啦..….

Discovered this lovely Gem of a Restaurant in the Heart of Hung Hom.The food is amazing delicious with very authentic flavours and freshly prepared.They serve a wide variety from North Indian to South Indian, with special Jain meals as well. Discovered this lovely Gem of a Restaurant in the Heart of Hung Hom.
The food is amazing delicious with very authentic flavours and freshly prepared.

The staff is very friendly and make you feel at home and whats more - they deliver all over Hong Kong by charging only actual transport cost incurred using public transport.
This is a Must - Must visit place for foodies in Hong Kong.
