有三款麵包, 餐包加二種法包, 可惜皆是冷的, 不合我意. 可配以又肥又香的牛油, 又可以配三種自製的醬: 二種鴨醬(包括鴨肝), 一種豬肝醬, 都很軟很有肉香. 非常美味! 另有兩種即切煙三文魚, 一種自製淡白色的鵝肝醬, 味道清淡, 又香又軟, 質地細密. 另有沙律(不過我沒試), 有各種配料.

先來香檳(每人包一杯). 氣泡直冒, 香氣迫人. 餐酒四款(自助): 紅白各二. 其中最欣賞霞當麗白酒很香醇, 易入口. 另一種Tuscany的白酒. 紅酒一種較重單寧, full body及較乾. 有帶點苦澀的獨特香氣, 據說其味道似一種極名貴的法國酒. 另一種較易入口但果味較少.

主菜六選一: 有鱈魚, 紅衫和另一種魚, 牛面頰, 豬仔骨和素食. 我叫了牛. 配以扁長粉, 雜菌和肉粒和小酸洋葱等, 難得醬汁全無生水味, 反有香濃的牛味, 肉味和雜菌香氣. 牛本身極滑, 毫不費力一切即開, 差不多入口即化, 卻又有牛脷的咬勁, 又含有牛腩的軟筋. 我想, 有些餐廳重點放在頭盤而主菜相對遜色, 但這裡重點是主菜, 是認真之作.

甜品約廿多款, 如tiramisu, 巧克力蛋糕, geisha bowl, 巧克力慕絲, 士多啤梨蛋糕等, 皆極甜. 我想是有水準的, 不過不會令人極度回味. 最後餐茶也有5-6種選擇, 有earl grey, peppermint等, 不過我不感興趣, 只要了凍檸茶, 質素當然不及本地薑的茶餐廳.

Went here for the Sunday brunch with my wife as she wanted to try the place out and was pleasantly surprised by the qualilty, the range and by the professional service.

First of all, if you're not into drinking wine, tasting cold cuts, spanish and italian jamon, foie gras, duck rillette (duck cooked in its own fat) or home made pate, then this is not the place for you.

First of all the wine. You have two choices of white and two choices of red, plus the champange or sparkling wine. On the day, all choices were excellent without being too pretentious. They had two french whites and one Italian Red and a French Red and all went well will all of the entree choices. You can drink as much as you want here and the services was great as they explained the characteristics of each wine and were very happy if you returned and asked for another glass. They seemed to be very happy in imparting their expertise and recommended wines according to your palate and the types of food you had chosen.

The entree selection. You get to choose from a good selection of cold cuts, two types of Jamon, a selection of pates including homemade foie gras and homemade duck rillette. There was also two types of Salmon. One smoked and the other gravlax. The cheese selection was quite reasonable with a good selection of hard and soft cheeses of varying flavours. The salad was pretty simple with a good mix of lettuce leaves with a choice of 3 dressings. Not as grand as the Steakhouse salad bar which I think is the best in all of HK, but simple and made a good compliment to the types of meat and cheese available.

Mains. I had the Pork and my wife had the lamb loin. My pork actually turned out to be abit dry but I think it was probably due to the particular cut. My wife's lamb was cooked just right. Both portions were plentiful.

Desserts: For this part of the buffet, you actually go into part of the kitchen and the choice was pretty comprehensive with bite sized and individual small pieces of a variety of desserts including their signature steamed cheese cake. I would say that there would have been a selection of about 15 types of desserts. The apricot macaroons were unbelievably tasty and the chocolate based desserts were finger licking good! I went back a couple of times for these babies.

Overall I would highly recommend this place to anyone that wants to unwind with great food, good wine and a great selection of desserts. Its not cheap at $500 per head after 25% off with the hotel's dining card but you certainly get what you pay for and then some if you can enjoy drinking wine with tapas like entrees. The service was very friendly with waiters and servers giving you accurate but most of all friendly advice on the selection of food and wine.

記得上年同bf慶祝半週年拍拖黎呢度食Service好這是當然的,waiter好professional,好細心同我地介紹menu因為有米芝連3星關係,我同bf都好大期望,整體食物很好,但個人認為不是出色到有3星的level,所以印象不深刻,唯一記得是燒老虎蝦,真的很鮮味~

Dinner there with customer last Friday. Total 5 peoples. Service are good, View are great. But food there are not as good as the name Michelin 3 stars........ Still not so worth even I got the 25% discount by the Priority card. Will be much much better if dinning in The steak house. Price before discount are HKD$8880, discounted $6660. Still around $1300 per person. Thats why not full on Friday night. But the desserts are great. Thats the only things can say its Michelin 3 stars.

I choose this restaurant to celebrate the wedding anniversary...this is definitely the right choice. The food quality, the service and environment are excellent. Instead of trying the 8-course tasting menu, we go for the a la carte...thanks Keith for his wonderful suggestions. 1. 3. Main courses - sea scallops and roasted saddle of lamb. What shall we say...bravo!
4. The sorbet and the coconut meringue with hot strawberry sauce is good. I love the coconut meringue...so crispy.
5. Assorted sorbet - the pistachio and mustela (hazelnut paste) are my favorites. The mandarin orange one tastes very special.
6. The chocolate raspberry mousse cake is magnificent...

Though it's a really expensive dinner...but it worths every cent...

It was an expensive meal. Two persons $3500-$4000M....Food wasn't really outstanding, were just those fancy french cusines' decorations, but i wanna stress that it was noiser than 茶餐廳. maybe it s too famous? maybe too many tables squeezing together?won't go again.

1. Poached egg , spinach, yabbies and morel condiment:8分。它是用一個玻璃瓶盛載的蛋類食品,頗為特別。
2. Terrine of duck foie gras, chutney of grapes/vanilla Sichuan pepper, arugula salad:9分。鴨肝,它沒有那麼油膩。鴨肝雖然沒有煎過,但是很香和肥美,而且份量相當之大,此外,點上小小海鹽及無花果醬,連多士一起吃,口感一流,不過略嫌咸了點。
3. White asparagus soup, minestrone of white asparagus Spanish ham/black truffle:9分。只見大大的碟子中間放上了一些義大利蔬菜,接着侍應拿着一個類似搖酒器的物體,把熱湯倒在上面,成了這個義大利蔬菜濃湯,味道很濃郁,而且西班牙的火腿也很有口感。
4. Oreichiette pasta with seafood and basil, dried lemon:8分。這其實是一個海鮮義大利粉,當中的蝦、魷魚非常新鮮,但義大利粉點嫌有點硬。
5. Roasted Chilean sea bass with pistachio/macadamia crust asparagus and coconut/lime condiment:8分。這就是其中一道main course,選用了智利鱸魚,就連不吃魚的我也覺的可以接受,滑滑的。
6. Fricassee of chicken, baby vegetables and green gnocchi:8分。這是另一道main course,雞扖,雞隻十分嫩滑,還配上以麵粉及馬鈴薯做的糰子,十分美味。只是當中的汁類似剛才的湯,少了一點驚喜。
7. All vanilla finger, warm strawberry jus, kirsch ice-cream:8分。終於到了甜品出場的時候。Vanilla手指形蛋糕,配上strawberry的汁,十分有趣。不過最特別的,要算是kirsch ice-cream(櫻桃白蘭地雪糕),既有甜味,亦帶點酒味!
8. Chocolate/passion fruit fondant, hazelnut ice cream:6分。熱情果軟餡,淋上一層薄薄的巧克力漿,再配上棒子雪糕,很是特別。可惜我不懂欣賞,因為當中的巧克力漿添上略重的酒味,有點喧賓奪主之感。
最後,我要了一杯coffee(濃濃的),而太太則要了一杯milk tea(淡淡的)。
一濃一淡;一男一女;平日的簡樸,今天的奢華;
我們就此享用了一生人第一頓豐富的法國晚餐\\\\\\\。
真的多謝open rice。

We have been to SPOON for the Sunday lunch a few times but recently notice that the quality of food is declining. Most disappointing is the service at SPOON!

I remembered the first time we went there, the waitor asked us whether we needed any water or not and then asked us whether with or without gas. We were initially quite impressed and thought everying is so delicate in SPOON! We were more surprised when we later paid the bill and found out that we had to pay HK$300 more for three bottles of water. The waitor never told us that the water is at an additonal cost of nearly HK$100 per bottle, bearing in mind that the buffet lunch is only around HK$500. Despite this unpleasant experience, we found the food was superb and it's worth going there for a break on Sunday!

Unfortunately, each and every time we went there, the types of food are getting less and less, their quality is declining (for example, the pieces of lamp chops from 3 to 2 and the size is getting smaller and smaller) and even worse is the service. The types of dessert are getting less and are no longer a thrill to you as they used to be!!! They used to be very 'stylish' in design and tasty and so different from the desserts in other 5-star hotels!). Even worse I started to notice that the waitors showed strongly on their face their unhappiness when we told them that having fruit juice was fine when they asked us if we wanted to have water. In fact, why bother pay HK100 for an extra bottle of water. After all, we looked for quality food and quality service and not necessary deluxe 'water' in SPOON! The waitors' look of dismay made me wonder whether they've got a share at the nos. of bottles of waters that they managed to sell! They looked so unhappy that even the customers could feel it! And they become very reluctant when we asked for a refill! (My God! This is Customers' service!!)

I think the Management should pay attention to this declining service!

Look forward to seeing some improvement!

I want to go this resturant for a long time. Finally, I went there to hv dinner on 15 Jan, 2008. But a little disappointed.... We had two persons only. The view was very nice but a little noisy. I chose the Sexy Spoon Menu for 6 courses and order three glasses of wine (2 red wine & one white wine) for share. The food is ok but not very good and each dishes took a long time. The 6 course menu is quite full for one lady. Itried the main course of 和牛but the taste was just like 牛腩...>_<

My wife and I had dinner there. We tried the 6-course menu. Generally speaking, the food is good, but not excellent. It is a mixture of fusion, so it all depends whether you like it or not and what you expect from a French restaurant.Although the restaurant was only half full, it was quite nosiy, this should be related to the low ceiling of the restaurant. 難忘的晚餐......難忘係因為可以同佢一齊食呢一餐咁美好既晚餐,哈哈(^_^)!!用左一年既時間,亦都睇左好多食評,終於決定同佢黎呢度慶祝佢既生日,因為我要佢開心開心再開心,哈哈(^_^)!!入正題先......未到之前,其實都有D驚,一黎因為我未食過法國菜,二黎我都未試過食咁高級既食府,不過有佢陪住都無咁驚(^_^)入到門口首先見到兩個好Nice既姐姐,其實我改期改左兩次,佢都可以應我要求比左個Window Seat我地坐,呢樣真係好好呀!!坐低之後,佢都好似其他食評所講,不停問我地要唔要飲水,但係因為我地要Beer一Beer佢,所以無要到水,佢都無迫到我地要,重好有禮貌咁羅左個Drink List比我地,跟住我地點左我最鍾意飲既Asahi啤酒,當我地飲緊酒既時候,佢就好有禮貌咁介紹有D咩食,最後我地點左6個Course既Sexy Spoon Menu,因為佢話可以試多D唔同既菜,頭盤首先比左一籃熱辣辣既麵包我地食,跟住就上埋個帶子,帶子真係好新鮮同好鮮味,麵包亦都好好,重比我發現左原來我同佢都好鍾意食麵包,哈哈!!跟住上既就係鵝肝,鵝肝雖然肥左D,但係羅黎放係麵包上面食都好出色,

有D野真係好想讚下個待應姐姐,佢全程都跟得好貼,個人又Nice,今晚可以同佢有個咁難忘既晚餐佢都幫左唔少手,thank you!!
雖然最後佢都同我講叫我唔好咁哂錢,但係見到佢食得咁開心同可以係個咁靚既環境度同佢食,我真係覺得物超所值,好......再努力Plan下下一年同佢去邊度慶祝先.哈哈(^_^)

Despite Ducasse's title as a Michelin 3-star chef, this restaurant doesn't quite live up to his reputation.We had dinner there couple days ago. We had dinner there couple days ago. We had a table by the window and the view was great (except those weird-looking carts on the avenue of stars). The service was superb -- attentive, thoughtful and very polite.

The Sexy Spoon menu is surely a favourite for many and as I can see, about 70% of customers order a 6-course (HK$788) which is an extremely good deal given the a la carte prices. But we don't exactly like the courses and we ordered a la carte.

For starter, my wife had "King crab ceviche and crispy taro chips" on something like a guacamole which was phenomenal, tangy and appetizing. But of course, for that price, they could've put in a couple more pieces of king crab.

I had the mushroom capuccino with chopped up yabbies -- it surely tastes like mushroom but it doens't worth HK$220. As it's not called a "soup" I was expecting something different, maybe a frothy mixture with a strange mouthfeel, which is common in molecular gastronomy. But it turned out to be just ordinary soup.

For main course, my wife had Wagyu beef tenderloin with a slice of seared duck liver. I had roasted veal. Both of them are not bad (at least made to the right doneness) but not very exceptional either. I wonder why they use duck liver instead of foie gras (goose liver). Is it a cost issue? For a main course of HK$520, do they have to deliver something lesser expensive to make ends meet? The Wagyu beef is probably the most meagre, leanest Wagyu beef we had tasted. But the texture is okay.

To end the dinner we had a Noir de Noir chocolate platter. The sorbet is the best. The soft centred chocolate cake and the mousse is not bad. But the brownie can do better (it's not sticky and chocolatey enough).

The service was perfect and the server never pushed us on alcohol and stuff (my wife felt cold so she had hot tea throughout the dinner. I had beer and still water.) It's my wife's b-day and the captain actually took polaroids for us. It was a very happy experience, but we must not have tasted what makes a Michelin 3-star...

上星期五晚到這間星級餐廳,菜色與大家所說的大同小異,烹調手法新穎,味道就"見仁見智"。SET DINNER 6道菜七百多元,不計食物,維港無敵景色亦值回票價。不過可能因為是名聲太好的關係,餐廳客人極多,客人吃得高興,高談寬論,令當晚甚有"飲茶FEEL"。原希望享受一餐浪漫晚餐,但最後卻要與四周興高采烈的食客鬥大聲,無奈。最後一提,是晚侍應的服務有點神不守舍,最落力是鼓勵客人飲用收費的礦泉水,有點煩人。選擇餐飲時,老婆大人要求一客清茶,但重覆數次要求後侍應反問是"香片"還是"ENGLISH TEA";我和老婆都呆在當場,"香片"?,我想要紅茶喎,老婆回過神後,便要求一客"香片",最後我們便在這間高級法國餐廳享受了一杯淡淡的"香片",真正變成飲茶。

一月一日是太太生日, 我地兩人都是普通文職人員, 年入加埋都係2萬幾, 要食呢D餐真係要好捨得, 我地正是呢類人, 而我對法式文化情有獨鐘, 就想試下最頂級法國菜.早三星期已經訂定位, 坐響玻璃前, 望晒維港景無遮無擋, D侍應服務態度一流, 我地叫左個六道菜新年晚餐, 一開始係鴨肝, 雪凍鴨肝連兩舊TOAST一齊食, 幾特別, 但我太太可能因為冇煎香過, 唔係好頂得鴨的蘇味, 第二道係CAESAR SALAD配龍蝦仔, 龍蝦仔食落幾鮮, 而第三道湯係番茄濃湯配白菘露, 香濃到震, 第四道係2粒煎帶子配黑菘露, 又係香到震, 第5味主菜我食煎鱸魚, D汁又係唔知點整, 香味一流, D魚又唔會好霉, 有咬口, 而我太太食和牛, 嫩口到冇人有, 賣相又整得好好, 而甜品個舊朱古力唔知係慕絲都係咩, 我都唔知點叫, 朱古力味香濃, D慕絲又軟滑, 又唔會好甜, 一流! 但有一樣野差左少少, 尋晚可能多左人去食, 侍應比較忙, 最後落柯打餐飲居然漏單, 等左3-4個字, 而叫水都110蚊, 而一開始我地先叫2杯汁, 一杯賣80蚊, 食完幻彩匯香江開始, 係呢個最正環境坐響度睇, 真係人生一大享
