之後又到天婦羅日本柿,其實在日本當地的天婦羅店,部分也會提供水果天婦羅,最常見是無花果、番茄和提子。這天總廚則為我們炮製了日本柿天婦羅,真沒想到挺身爽口的甜柿,配上鹹香濃滑的芝士汁是那麼精彩,好想好想好想好想好想encore多一件的!

之後又有以雪場蟹蟹肉、忌廉、牛奶、洋蔥、香草釀入威化殻製作的 炸雪場蟹蟹蓋天婦羅 ($60),以及 和牛裡脊肉青蔥卷 ($140),這兩款屬於創意天婦羅類,味道都不錯,喜歡嚐新的可以一試。

而最出免創意天婦羅,還是要數 厚切大吞拿魚魚腩天婦羅 ($300)。沒錯定價是較高,但選用優質日本長崎縣新鮮大吞拿魚魚腩來製作;油炸後除了增添香脆滋味,Toro 的油分也部分被迫出,吃來反沒那麼油膩,反而更覺魚香油香,配上芥末蛋黃豉油,好吃得舌頭也想吞掉!

Third time here for lunch with group of friends, disappointing every time!Bad attitude n lousy service ; the worst, they don't care! Forget about the food quality, they presented one piece of the HK 120 uni sushi tilted down n runny, with eat it or not look! I'll spend my money elsewhere next time!

We entered at 14:25. A big, middle-aged woman with a loud and rather annoying voice at the door was trying to discourage us from entering by highlighting the fact that last order was 2:30pm and they close at 3:00pm.

I said OK.

As we entered, she again said, "We close at 3:00." That got me really annoyed.

After speed-reading the pretty comprehensive menu,  we placed our orders at 14:29 hours. We ordered "Tempura gozen" and a "Tendon".

The salad for both sets came almost immediately afterwards (14:30). It was a few pieces of lettuce, tomatoes with some ponzu. Not spectacular bit no complaints.

To be fair, the chawanmushi (steamed egg) was good. It had ginko, shiitake, oba and pretty strong egg and dashi taste. That was probaby the best part of the meal.

When I saw them giving me salt, I immediately thought to myself: It's worth swallowing the bad service. Dipping tempura into salf is the more "professional" and "elegant" way of having tempura.


Tempura: The prawns were not particularly fresh. The batter was pretty crunchy but on the oily side.

It didn't really stick on the food like it should be, the batter was falling off.

The scallop with oba was good. Another item, minced prawn meat with cheese filling wrapped in bean curb was quite interesting. Otherwise, nothing else made a good impression. The fried vegetable cake was too oily.

The rice was too hard. I doubt it was Japanese rice. I really hate wasting food but unfortunately, I couldn't finish it.

Tendon:

My tempura gozen, even thought it wasn't a complete disaster, was not impressive. "Ana gura" and "AgeHan" are better.

On the other hand, the tendon faired much better than the tempura gozen.

The rice, surprisingly, tasted different. Much better than mine.

The tempura also looked better than mine.

Nevertheless, Agehan and Ana gura are much better.

原本Book左以為係9樓,之後原來我地張枱安排係12樓,先知原來都係同一間嚟嘅。因為兩個人,點嘅菜唔多,每人叫咗7-8串串燒,都係啲菇同內臟,最貴嘅係串牛脷,好似成60蚊一串,。首先要講嘅係,所有食物都好精緻,精緻到女仔食都感覺細左D...另外真係燒得好一般,無咩驚喜。再叫咗個半生熟牛肉,係蘸汁食,望上去顏色好靚,但食落口緊有少少牛味,蘸埋汁直情係蓋過曬D牛味。。。唉!再叫左個佢地比較出名嘅蝦天帰羅,漿粉尚算溥身,但上到枱時外面係"林"嘅。。。已經無語了。。最後叫咗個雜菜稻亭烏冬,質素都係。。。我相信自家烏冬一定比佢地好食!!另外仲有個頭盤,唔好以為送嘅,係要收錢,但無通知亦無講係咩就正接上比我地連埋一杯有氣嘅酒,上嘅時候我無問係因為見到之前嘅食評有講過,所以諗住試下啦都好似係50蚊左右一位,但至少要比人知道係咩嚟先。。唉叫左5枝細支裝清酒三百幾蚊左右,再加埋一合共$15xxCheck單時只係見到一張流水單有兩項,就係食物同飲品,並無詳細列返我叫咗啲咩!想睇真啲後面全都係手寫單,我朋友嫌煩所以就唔再對單了,但真係唔會有下次唯一樣可取嘅就係佢地員工嘅服務態度都幾有禮。

由於坐吧枱,日藉師傅炸好天扶良就放到面前,新鮮熱辣,即叫即炸,香脆可口,粉漿薄且不油膩,只雖略略醮上天扶良醬汁或綠茶鹽,已經十分美味。

材料亦吃得出是相當不錯的貨色,尤以海膽茶巾最為美味,以紫菜包裹海膽再炸,外脆內軟,海膽鮮甜,份量亦多,讚!

海膽:夠新鮮,甜美,惟紫菜不夠脆。

為什麼炸豆莢很重要呢?因為最後一道是味道最重的炸蟹餅。多虧了炸豆莢,我可以深呼吸一口,用心品嘗炸蟹餅。只是今天料有點空洞,雖然炸得好,但有點小失望。

另外值得一提的是,飯非常好吃,而且加飯免費,大力女王幾乎每次都要吃兩碗。餐後的咖啡與甜點也很不錯。

吃了兩碗的大力女王,雖然吃的多,卻不能夠跟卜派一樣大大發揮,吃得太撐的她只能緩慢的移動,慢慢地慢慢地......
