First try of this Thailand restaurant, surprisingly worthy and yummy! All big in portion!! 在烏溪沙迎海薈商場內,這間泰國餐廳屬於比較高檔的一間,全層亦只有它收取加一服務費。開張後的初期,我也經常光顧;原因並非它食物美味或價錢便宜,而是就腳。不過,由於服務態度欠佳,我近期已經少了在此吃午餐或晚餐。今天中午,我如常地坐在卡位內;有位女侍應竟然問:「你介意搭枱嗎?」我説:「介意。我在等朋友。」一分鐘後,她不再徵求我的同意,便叫一名男顧客尘在我對面。」即使在快餐店或茶餐廳,服務態度也不至於這樣差劣吧。我認為,這間餐廳完全不再值得我支持,因而「讓座」。我走到坐在門口附近收銀機旁的女經理面對,向她反映意見,怎料只獲得冷漠對待。她只説:「這裡每位客人都知道是會搭枱的。」算吧!她不會明白,這種搭枱制度和服務態度完全不配合餐廳的級數。損失一位客人的午餐收入屬事小,令長期支持者不再於晚市光顧才屬事大。莫非這間餐廳有兩位經理,分別負責午市和晚市的營業成績?

上星期與友人在烏溪沙食早餐,記得見到迎海薈(即迎海的商場)仍有很多食肆,既然入到馬鞍山開會,不如坐多一個站去烏溪沙,食完午飯才回馬鞍山,時間啱啱好。夏日炎炎食乜好?不如就食泰國菜,希望開胃兼提神。這間泰國餐廳的名字是泰國廚子(Thai Chef),見它菜色選擇多,枱與枱之間尚算寛濶,便抱著一試無妨的心態入內。我本來想食麵,但見午餐的飯價錢亦吸引,便叫了黃咖哩牛腩飯及熱檸檬茶,基本餐飲如咖啡或茶,全部都是隨餐附送的。到上菜時,菜色外觀合格,份量也足。黃咖哩內除有牛腩,還有牛筋,兩者都煑得夠腍,味道唔錯。而咖哩汁濃度剛好,不太稀也不太稠,汁內亦有洋蔥及薯仔,明顯比一般茶餐廳足料。曾經食過一些餐廳,咖哩牛腩只有幾件牛腩及薯仔,而泰國廚子的牛筋和腩起碼有10件以上。雖然我對呢個咖喱汁濃度滿意,但味道上仍有改善空間。首先是咖喱味不足兼花奶味太重,令呢個菜變成香滑有餘而辣味不足。第二是用料方面,雖然這個咖哩飯已有洋蔥及薯仔,但若能加上一兩件紅蘿蔔,顏色及口感會更佳,亦能令食客覺得它與快餐店或茶餐廳不同。總結而言,「泰國廚子」的午餐是可以一試,但我不會大力推薦。

很多人說馬鞍山是美食沙漠,但這間位於烏溪沙迎海的泰國廚子卻帶給我驚喜。它的米粉特別幼細,是正宗的泰國米粉,加錢可以轉成冬陰公湯底,我每次都會轉,因為非常美味。而且店內的侍應及樓面都是泰國人,給我很正宗的感覺。其實它的清湯腩都很美味味,如果食清湯腩的話,我就會保留原有的湯底,不需要轉成冬陰公湯底,這個我會配金邊粉,又是另一番風味、另一種享受。飲品方面,我通常都會選擇咖啡,因為它始終不是港式茶餐廳,沒有港式奶茶和鴛鴦之類的飲品。

很多人說馬鞍山是美食沙漠,但這間位於烏溪沙迎海的泰國廚子卻帶給我驚喜。

大蝦冬陰功湯,位上的一人分量,冬陰功湯非常好飲湯質很濃厚,味道以酸為主不會很辣非常開胃,湯裏面有蘑菇還有一只大蝦,確實不錯。馬來盞炒通菜,感覺來香港吃飯所有青菜的分量都比內地的要小,好在這份青菜不會炒得很鹹味道剛剛好。

馬鞍山冇野好食,人人都知,所以我係呢區都冇乜盼望。記得舊年夏天第一次黎,商場多透光玻璃所以好熱...杯凍檸茶一放低就變熱檸茶...事隔大半年,我又黎到迎海...今日想食碗粉,求其呢間啦...凍檸茶首先送到,記得舊年黎既時候職員哥哥介紹檸茶係用左泰國茶葉,所以口味比較特別可以一試。但由於...上面講左...當時太熱飲咩都冇mood...飲唔真真係覺得可惜!今次再order過,感覺好似冇左個份特別既泰國口味,同港式檸茶冇分別,難道泰式檸茶唔受歡迎?有四片檸檬,夠味。金邊粉都幾硬身,浸下好食D,奈何我趕時間。。。雞絲一般,份量不多。有生茶,同羅白,可怕羅白係比較硬同唔入味。。。係馬鞍山,真係唔能夠強求得太多。。。
