Been to QRE Plaza before and already explored some of the restaurants, but it was just this week my other colleagues invite me to lunch in 9/F of QRE Plaza. I came a little bit late and was amazed when I entered this Restaurant. For me the venue decoration and environment were good. When I entered, I saw some music instruments. I thought it’s new restaurant, but when I asked if the restaurant is new, but they said it’s not.  Later, I was told that it was from Lan Kwai Fung.

As I checked their menu, it was kind of boring menu and lacking something, I don’t know. Maybe because it was different from the other restaurant’s menu. You only need to choose the main course which also corresponds the price. There were no other choices for the appetizers, only soup of the day. And there were no salad appetizer options. Same goes with the dessert, no other choices. They served dessert when we had our coffee and tea.There was no description of their set lunch items. Don’t get me wrong, the service was excellent.

For the main course, I ordered Linguine with Prawns in Cream Sauce. It was at an affordable price of HK$138. It was good, looks delicious and tastes delicious. Just enough cream and they put bell pepper.

 My other colleague ordered the same dish with mine. While others ordered Chicken and Ribeye and I was impressed with the food presentations. Overall experience was great.

Fully equipped with musical instruments.  The choices on their Lunch menu was good, starts from HK$98 up and it comes with Soup, dessert and coffee/tea. I ordered Half Spring Chicken on their Set Lunch for HK$138. They served the  Minestrone soup first. Soup was smooth and creamy as they added potato on it.      Then followed by my main course preference, Spring Chicken. The portion was large even its only half. Its texture is a perfect combination of being crispy, tender and juicy. The outer texture was crispy but as I chewed and explored beneath the skin and bones I tasted the juicy and tenderness which I enjoyed. They give attention not only to the taste but also on the presentation. Well done.

    Their service was quick and smooth as the staff was very attentive. We had their dessert as a complimentary, which I don't know what they called it. Sort of Panna Cotta but with coconut flavor and a strawberry on the top.

      Good food with excellent live band "The Magic Touch" playing 60s 70s  music. We've ordered Tomahawk steak for a reasonable price. Nice & friendly owner leading his team make you feel warm & cosy,  We have a wonderful night there & definitely will come back again.

      A hidden gem in QRE Plaza - beautiful decor, mouthwatering steak, and live entertainment. Pricing is very reasonable - I always pop by for a quick unch (their set menus are full of variety!) or if I just want to have dinner alongside their infamous resident band - The Magic Touch

      Very good food. The food is made with heart. The potatoes and veggies come with the main dish are pan fried with butter and salt , not like other restaurants which are just boiled with water. Great music and ambience here. Fantastic service. Please come to support 50's. Excellent place for meet up or business lunch or dinner.
