I liked hash brown and the French toast tasted like American pancakes but this was extremely messy and a challenge to eat it with just bare hands.
Anyway, the star of the show was the beef patty and it did not disappoint because the beef had a velvety texture like sweetbread and it was lean but tender.

我們點了一個最基本的 The Burger [$100],再加一個 The Hogtown [$160],前者有Bacon, Tomato, Cheese and Pickles,魚子媽覺得最經典的永遠最美味,美味的食物不需要花巧的配搭,麵包四邊都脆如新鮮出爐硬豬仔包,芝士溶得包住了Patty,可能很多人不吃酸瓜,但其實在這等重量級漢堡,酸瓜是最有平衡作用的,否則真係會膩到吃不下

另一個 The Hogtown就真係好肥美了,先看餐牌上的描述" Dry aged patty topped with classic pulled pork, canadian peameal-style bacon, pickled shallots with thyme, sharp honey mustardand smoked guoda" 真係睇完都飽曬,Pulled Pork就是慢煮到肉淋得可以用叉弄碎的地步,在煙肉、漢堡排和芝士之上再加上手撕豬肉,不得了。幸好可以跟朋友分享,獨自一人應該完成不到,我要最經典的簡單版就可以了

這裡的薯角全是以鴨油來炸,正如餐牌所示的 Duck Fat Fries [$20@] 份量不多,用上awfully chocolate 裝雪糕的那紙盒,但就每條新鮮炸起,熱燙非常。 未必吃到鴨油炸起有何大分別,但至少是美味的薯角,$20都值得一試

Great little burger joint on Wellington Street! Have to say, the buns are great! A little bit crispy and the perfect size for its beef patty! The patty itself is well cooked! Pink in the inside! Not much marination, but the pickles, bacon, tomato, and cheese are in great proportion! The potato wedges were tasty. 灣仔的The Butchers Club Burger之前匆匆食過,當然已覺美味,不過當時人到湧湧,真的食得有點不自在。今次來到新開個多月的中環店,晚上人不太多,還可坐在吧檯看著整個製作過程,又和主廚聊天,非常愉快。這次點上的是最簡單的Butchers Club Burger, 漢堡從來不需要複雜,芝士、煙肉、蕃茄、酸瓜都不是重點,主角在牛肉上,配角是麵包。這裡的牛肉用上熟成澳洲安格斯牛肉,先在香港仔的工場用上熟成技術處理,然後再發放到分店裡,即場由廚師烹煮。主廚Matt亦透露牛肉是不會煮至全熟的,一定只煮到恰到好處 – 內裡仍保持粉嫩顏色和豐富肉汁;而且其他配料亦不能太濃烈,而搶去其風彩。麵包真的是不可小看的配角,是外脆內軟的麵包,吸收肉汁後更見美味,而且質感是非常方便,按下去再一口食掉所有材料。說得出的好,就在這裡找。食漢堡包當然少不了薯條,這裡供應的薯角不但炸得香口,而且加了鴨油,熱騰騰的上菜,香氣四溢,你抗拒得了嗎? 再邪惡也要食掉。甚少飲汽水的小妹,也不禁來了一罐。太爽了~

週日晚上人都不算多啦,但是裡面檯位確實比較少。只有一個漢堡可以選擇,加了一份粗身薯條一百塊一個的漢堡這多算小啦,女生食完剛剛好,男生一定會覺得小。漢堡本身裡面就沒什麼,就是一塊結實的肉,吃多兩口覺得味道比較單調咯。薯條就好好吃。

We arrived to find the little burger joint pumping, but luckily spied a couple of spare seats and while I made my way to place our order, SC jumped on the seats. With such a simple menu, it was really easy to order - two burgers and some duck fat fries. So, as we sat around waiting for our burgers, I found out a little about the joint.

The burger patties are made from 100% certified 300+ day dry aged Angus beef, reared on farms in Victoria and New South Wales specifically fed an organic blend of organic grain to ensure a full bodied flavour. The beef, which is made up of rump, chuck and brisket is ground to order on premises and them seasoned with the Butchers Club mystery blend of spices and slapped straight on the grill to be cooked a perfect medium rare.

Our burgers arrived and we marvelled at the simplicity. In between the lightly toasted buns were a couple of pickles (picked out, of course), a single large piece of tomato, the thick and delicious meat patty, a slice of melted tasty cheese, topped with a slice of bacon and a special sauce - simple indeed. It's in that simplicity that the Butchers Club has got it right, the burgers are completely and unbelievably good, easily the best I've ever had! Clearly, the effort they've put into securing the meat, then the love and attention in making the patties has paid off! They're not big, but any bigger and you wouldn't be able to eat the whole thing.

The burgers are so good, you could almost be forgiven for forgetting the duck fat fries, which are large, rough cut chips that have been cooked to perfection in duck fat! Fries don't get much better than that and while they were pretty amazing, they lacked a little seasoning - a little extra salt would have gone a long way.

It was an insight into Hong Kong sitting in the Butchers Club, there was a steady stream of customers coming in, ordering their burger, destroying it (mostly in record time) and then getting on their way. There is not a lot of space inside the shop, but all of the space is utilised and it seems that the best spots to enjoy a burger are at the counter, so you can watch the magic happen, or at the front window (where we were sitting), so you could watch the world pass by.

The burgers were so good, that I've been back a heap of times since my first visit and each time, the burger is just as good as the last. I guess, I have a problem now though.... It's actually on my walk home each day, so it's really tempting for me to just grab a burger every night on the way home. Right now, it's pretty hard for me to walk past the place without my feet automatically steering me to have (just one more) of those burgers...

I like the ambience of this place which is casual.  The music on the background were all familiar songs.  What a good casual Monday lunch place.

It took awhile for the food to come, but man the look of the burger was amazing.  The double happiness beef patties were thick (1 inch each) and the cheese was oozing out.  The burger buns were different from the normal burgers, with lots of oil (I'm assuming they are buttered). It was a mess to cut the burger but it was worth it.  I can't believe I had trouble eating the half portion as I thought it's not that big compared to the ones in North America but wow, I was so full!  No wonder my other 2 coworkers were actually sharing the normal burger + fries and can't finish it.  The fries were also very crispy and yummy.

All in all, very satisfying burger fix that feels like I am back to America, but I don't think I will go back on my own because the burger is really hard to be finished by just me!

聞Butchers Club Burger之名已久,但因為少路經灣仔,亦不想排隊等食,所以一直未有機會試食。早前路經其中環新店,見有位便跟"Da Hubs"來個early dinner。設包廂的新店,環境不算寬敞,不過open kitchen的設計,倒能引人食欲。餐牌選擇幾乎無選擇可言,burger及薯條各得一款(後來見人在吃夾了兩塊patty的巨無霸!大概是secret menu吧)。點了兩份burger及薯條。牛肉patty的調味及烹調得當,但burger的麵包竟然是涼的!沒有又暖又軟的包,無論其他配料如何出色,分數也即時大打折扣。至於duck fat薯條炸得脆口,只賣$20算物有所值,若有朝一日回來幫襯的話,大概是因為這薯條吧。

As i live in Soho, I was very exicted to go try it myself and as it is very close to my place. 

When I arrive there, I ask to be seated somewhere but the staff just told me go find a seat by myself, which i found kind of odd and rude, but it is ok I guess it is the policy there!

After finding my table, I was ready to get my food but surprisingly they only have one burger on the menu and a secret menu that you have to find on the website and use the QR code..such a waiste of time, don't u think so? I mean why don't u put it directly on the menu instead of obliging people to go on their smartphone and waiste time? 

Anyway, I order the very classic burger they have, the service was a bit slow (17min to wait to be accurate) considering that they only have one kind of burger to do. Eventually, I received my burger, it was a bit small compare to their ad but i guess it is marketing! The burger and french freid were good, i wouldn't say it is memorable tho for the price.

So to put in a nutshell, I wouldn't recommend this place I think there is definately better burger place in town for much better deal even tho it was ok/good. But to be honest, I expect a little more considering the price of the burger and all the feedback I had from the press.

On top of that, I found the staff a bit rude behaving like they had found something that would revolutionize the world...guys u just doing burger so a little respect to your customers wouldn't be too much.

灣仔有一間好出名好多人食飯未試過 經過見到中環開分店就即刻走去試下 。叫左個burger 薯條 坐係bar 枱等左十分鐘就到。來到burger無想像中咁大 但都好多料。 郭漢堡包中間 免治牛肉, 牛肉質素好好 煮到岩岩半生熟,味道夠。 薯條 不過不失。價錢$100漢堡包加薯條$20 , 不算便。 未係全港最好, 但可以話top 5
