Signature Dishes
星期五晚諗住同thank出去食嘢，因為冇book位，好多餐廳都full晒。於是喺門口企咗一陣，佢餐廳個sales係咁sale我哋，話俾個餐牌九折+happy hour price 1杯俾我哋 我哋見佢咁熱情就入咗去。餐廳唔full，好多人嚟飲嘢多個食嘢。我哋四個人嗌咗5個主食先夠飽，佢啲嘢食唔算好大份，但係味道還好，唔會好難食。而飲品我揀咗mocktail, 幾好飲但係好多冰, 飲飲下變咗水。如果係一班朋友諗住傾偈chill下，可以揀其他餐廳，呢間係for飲嘢，因為佢個喇叭真係好大聲。

Came here for a chill lunch with friends, sat inside although there is an option to sit out front. The doors were open so if you dislike the occasional cigarette smell might not be the place for you. The atmosphere was quite relaxing, it was lunchtime on a weekday so it wasn’t full just one or two tables other than us so it was quiet and they had great music choice.We ordered the Seabass, Classic Carbonara, Old monk signature salad (smoked salmon meat choice) and the Hawaii Teriyaki beef skewers. The Seabass was delicious, melted in your mouth, not too try or undercooked. The classic carbonara was alright, although could use a bit more taste. The old monk signature salad with smoked salmon, I had trouble eating because they were cut in strips with the stem/base of it still attached which I heard means that the veg was not able to be washed properly before serving but besides that it was alright. The Hawaii Teriyaki beef skewer had tasty slices of roasted zucchini although in my opinion the actual beef lacked the sweet teriyaki taste and was a bit dry and chewy for me but other than that was alright.To end the meal we ordered one of each dessert, a Caramel cheesecake, triple chocolate crunchy cake and an apple tart with ice cream. They were all very delicious, my favorite being the apple tart and chocolate cake which just melts in your mouth.The overall service was good although it was sometimes a bit hard to find the waiter.

今次不幸地選了一家性價比低的酒吧餐廳，選擇原因是因下大雨沒有帶雨傘所以隨便走進一間食店等停雨，這店於地下轉角擁有地利優勢。食品點了墨西哥粟米脆片(Nachos)，飲品則選擇House Wine及熱情果加青瓜的果汁特飲。飲品味道不錯，尤其是熱情果加青瓜的果汁特飲，味道帶微酸很開胃。可惜墨西哥粟米脆片的味道卻強差人意，粟米脆片味道差，牛油果醬、墨西哥番茄醬和Sour Cream也不好味，尤其是牛油果醬，真心差，如要光顧此店的朋友，千萬不要點粟米脆片。

有一段時間沒有在尖沙咀開餐，今天找到了這間食肆林立寶勒巷附近，有足球賽事的鬼佬式餐廳酒吧食個午飯。我和叉燒妹在訂枱的時間還沒到已經到達了餐廳，雖然員工還在準備中，不過也非常友善給我們先入座，這一點值得一讚。這個雞翼的賣相基本上就是Buffalo wings，可能就是沒有加入辣汁，所以佢只係一個蒜蓉炸雞翼，不過很惹味，沒有辣汁也變成叉燒妹的獵物。有時候真的不明白，屹立當年的Dan記，為什麼它叱咤一時的水牛雞翼也能變成現在的水牛雞翼乾，好像今次隨便找一間餐廳都能贏，不解🧐。阿辣妹必食的炸薯條，今次點了truffle wings，賣相眼見就只有兩滴松露醬🤨，可能要慳皮只加上松露油吧😞，薯條還算脆皮，不過都係果句希望是shoestring 就會更加分。叉燒妹最愛的Pizza，由於有blue cheese，所以整個薄餅的味道已被蓋過，其他芝士不是那麼突出，不過絕對不會影響叉燒妹對芝士的鍾情度。本人加上了tabasco又會有另外一個味道。個人覺得這個striploin 是比較弱，牛扒調味尚算可以，不過以西餐廳來說這塊牛扒肉質太韌，就算是medium rare 都需要很大的”牙力”才能把它解決，比較有驚喜的反而是薯蓉和asparagus。Carbonara加上雞肉未必是最好的配搭，可能就是欠缺了那份”肥油”味吧？蛋黃汁不突出，所以應該說是雞肉忌廉汁意粉。開始發覺這間餐廳的餐牌上的食品名稱和出品好像有點兒出入。。。由於今天太肚餓，最後加了一個芝士豬扒漢堡包，不過肉身比較乾，基本上沒有食完。整體來說如果是來睇波飲酒的話食物質素是可以的，不過如果以西餐廳來說，我相信應該有更大的進步空間，下次來還是先喝杯啤酒🍺可能會更開心。
