初三赤口,不宜拜年,去睇戲。(多謝開飯送出的戲票!)天氣嚴寒又下著雨,雖然要回家吃飯,還是先吃點東西打底為上算。走在聽不到廣東話的銅鑼灣,來到了翠華。天寒地凍當然人多,年初一至初三要收加一,只歎百物騰貴,希望龍年大家的人工也有得加就好了。這裡有幾款龍年套餐什麼的,但我只想吃些輕食,就來個鮮蝦菠菜餃麵($28),轉米粉。先是來錯了另一碗麵,然後我再找阿姐追單時,又重覆落了單,於是擾攘近十分鐘才有得食。諒阿姐們都年終無休兼做到踢哂腳份上,算啦。自家麵碗設計不俗,菠菜餃除了菠菜(是細條狀而不是一般的切粒)還有原隻的蝦之外,還混有少許豬肉,口味幾清新,蝦也爽口。米粉泡湯久了自然會腍,不過魚湯湯底不太覺得有味精。加了一點點桌上的辣椒油,幾香的。

先是來錯了另一碗麵,然後我再找阿姐追單時,又重覆落了單,於是擾攘近十分鐘才有得食。諒阿姐們都年終無休兼做到踢哂腳份上,算啦。

自家麵碗設計不俗,菠菜餃除了菠菜(是細條狀而不是一般的切粒)還有原隻的蝦之外,還混有少許豬肉,口味幾清新,蝦也爽口。米粉泡湯久了自然會腍,不過魚湯湯底不太覺得有味精。加了一點點桌上的辣椒油,幾香的。

一向愛吃水餃多於雲吞,打邊爐如是,淨吃也如是。朕喜愛水餃口感豐富,餡料也較有新意;鮮蝦木耳,韮菜,菠菜作餡,通通都很搭配。是日下午去維園打波前,就在銅鑼灣「翠華」吃個水餃醫醫五臟腑。「淨菠菜餃」菠菜絲爽口,蝦肉鮮美實在,灑黠蝦籽,好吃。一碗四粒,極快被秘殺,美味略嫌少!

翠華給我的印象就是茶餐廳, 但是西餐廳價錢, 雖說是品質有保證, 但並不是出色, 閒閒地叫一碗粉麵都要$3X, 早餐就則比較合理價. 如無必要我都甚少光顧, 因為吃飽飯後, 隱約還有點餓又嗅到菠蘿飽的香味, 沒看價錢是便進來了. 點了菠蘿油跟熱奶茶不消一會就到了, 這麼繁忙的時段也有這裡速度, 不錯.菠蘿油 - 皮夠脆, 麵包也軟熟, 牛油是厚切的. 一直都只愛吃金華的, 竟想不到這家翠華的菠蘿油也做得不錯.

台灣朋友來港一遊,特地帶他們到一嚐名牌茶餐廳-翠華奶油豬仔包是仍舊好爽脆好味只是 公仔麵居然盛惠半百!!!!!沒人覺得有問題嗎???我覺得這是香港高租金﹑快餐文化﹑趕時間孕育出來的垃圾食物公仔麵餐由茶餐廳的常餐升級至招牌菜大家仍照吃如儀﹑趨之若鶩!!這個問題有待思考....我點了冬蔭公大蝦米線令人失望....湯底除了"色"像冬蔭公外, "香"味"均欠奉, 米線量極少連小女子我咁細食都喂唔飽唯一可讚是4隻鮮蝦又大又爽。及服務員快手快腳的服務。翠華名氣太大, 反而大失水準。絕對是到此一遊, 下不為例。

某日的宵夜。想食d野先返去,原先只係想食過奶油豬,八掛下menu有咩食,見有炒公仔麵,仲要鐵板上,就要個試下。鐵板上,其實都係諗住個鐵板都係做下樣,叫做用個鐵板跟個炒公仔麵,點知個鐵板係堅熱果隻,放d薄切牛肉應該都會熟哂,特意唔撈d麵,令d麵有點焦,鐵板夠熱,好快烘到d麵有d燶,脆脆地,多種咬口。豬扒就普通,有點韌。不過整體黎講,碟麵係滿意的。奶茶意外地有點水準,奶味茶味平均,不錯。衛生真係好一般,抺枱抺落d客到,望一望扮無事繼續,講句唔好意思好難咩。整體食物水準收貨的,不過唔係餐,散叫,加埋差唔多六十幾蚊,入得黎,都知價錢。

翠華以魚蛋粉起家, 當時以鯊魚骨做湯為號召, 打出了名堂但和大多數食店一樣, 出咗名就減質量, 好明顯個鯊魚骨湯越來越淡, 最叫人失望的就是連小小的一瓶辣椒油都唔放過, 都要偷工減料, 偷龍轉鳯.用化學品扮潮州辣椒油.早期我發現辣椒油變咗用粉開的, 已向翠華反映, 估唔到佢嘅做法唔係用返傳統潮州辣椒油, 而係在用粉開的辣椒油內加入辣椒銀, 以為這樣做騙得到客人. 唉! 見微知著, 小小一瓶辣椒油都偷工減料, 漁目漠珠, 其他嘅也不用說了.

I didn’t feel like noodles or congee, it was a pretty muggy and sticky day, so got something simple which I knew I would enjoy. Toast with condensed milk and ice milk tea. Not so great for the sugar levels, as I totally utterly over dozed on condensed milk and sugar but boy… it was satisfying!S ordered the special, beef satay noodles, scrambled eggs and bread and warm milk tea. I didn’t try any of the beef satay noodles, only cause I didn’t feel like noodles but S said that it was good and enjoy

S ordered the special, beef satay noodles, scrambled eggs and bread and warm milk tea. I didn’t try any of the beef satay noodles, only cause I didn’t feel like noodles but S said that it was good and enjoyed it. It reminded her of her childhood. The scrambled eggs looked a little dry to me, as I prefer it creamy and moist.

I love the ‘black and white’ tea cups that they serve in this Tsui Wah. I was tempted to take one home but of course I didn’t.
