We then ordered an appetiser which was the red prawn carpaccio. Absolutely loved it
I’m always a big fan of red prawn and having it as a carpaccio was a first for me. It was flavourful and matched so well with our bubbly. I don’t think this can be easily found elsewhere in HK.

For the mains, we ordered a pasta and steak. The pasta was a tortelli (sort of like a Chinese dumpling) with spinach ricotta filling and served with tomatoes. You can obviously tell the pasta is freshly-made because the pasta had the right tender silky texture to it and it gave off a soft yellow hue and glossiness with the sauce.

For the steak, we ordered the beef tagliata which was cooked to the right temperature. I always prefer my beef on the rare side and I was not disappointed when the plate came. The tagliata was juicy and tender.

We were so full by the end of the dinner that we had to walk off our “food baby”. The restaurant is right next to the Kwun Tong Promenade which overlooked the HK Island city lights, so we went for a short romantic walk afterwards. Perfect ending to a wonderful scrumptious dinner!!!


Would want to come again with friends and try their other choices on the menu!

We tried out their Chef’s Tasting Menu priced at $388 hkd per person (minimum of 2 persons) + 10% service charge ✨


The tasting menu comes with 3 appetisers, 2 mains and 1 dessert which is guaranteed to leave you feeling satisfied.


Starters:
— Vitello Tonnato
— Asparagus Flan
— Classic Tomato Bruschetta


Mains:
— Purple Potato Gnocchi or Pappardelle with Beef Cheek Ragout
— Baby Pork Ribs or Seabream Fillet


Dessert:
— Panna Cotta


📝 Overall review:
— The pasta (Pic 1️⃣) was definitely the highlight, we were told that the chef is from the Piedmont area, and specialises in handmade pasta, so there was no surprise as to why this dish was so tasty! The pappardelle was cooked to an al dente texture and soaked up all the goodness from the sauce.
— Baby pork ribs (Pic 2️⃣&3️⃣) were not too dry and the sauce was flavourful enough alongside the ribs. Really enjoyed the roasted potatoes on the side which were fragrant and well seasoned.
— The bruschetta (Pic 4️⃣) was my favourite appetiser, the tomatoes were fresh whilst the bread had a rich herb taste to it.
— The asparagus flan (Pic 7️⃣) was very interesting and unlike anything i’ve had before. The texture resembles a soufflé and had a strong vegetable flavour to it. The cheese sauce was so rich and decadent though slightly too heavy.
— The desserts (Pic 9️⃣) were also a highlight. Panna cotta was creamy and smooth and the raspberry sauce had a good level of acidity and not overly sweet. The profiterole was an extra, though the texture was slightly too soft and had an overload of chocolate sauce.

Last week I went to @ulivohk at The Quayside for their 3-course brunch ($258pp).🍽For starters we had the Asparagus Flan and Burrata Cheese and Tomatoes (+$35). I must say the dish plating for The Purple Potato Gnocchi was very interesting, as well as its’ taste, it’s like halfway-cooked taro balls😅
Dessert wise, both the Panna Cotta and Profiterol were okay.
The restaurant was quite cozy and for some reason I think there’re some fairytales elements in the interior design🤣

因為同事請食飯,我只記得價錢係大約百六蚊,仲要加一
但我老闆食野濁親想飲啖水,叫佢加水加左十分鐘都未加到😑
其實真係唔夠人手不如唔好開啦,收人二百蚊位但個服務仲差過快餐店,大家真係千奇唔好中伏!

Lunch set 價位同frites, flames 差唔多, 都係百幾兩百蚊一位。 因為今日好想食牛扒,所以我點左牛扒, medium well. 朋友就食慢煮雞!套餐跟湯/沙律/cold cut . 我要咗沙律, 朋友要cold cut. 沙律同埋cold cut 賣相精美, 味就正常不過不失! 主菜個牛扒medium well 近乎全熟, 但份量就好大塊, 套菜係跟火箭菜,個牛扒煮得過分熟,所以肉質好鞋。個火箭菜就太多油,食落口感麻麻!朋友點嘅主菜慢煮雞腿, 啲雞肉有好重嘅白酒香味,但非常鞋口。其實係咪雞肉唔適合用嚟慢煮呢! 最後朱古力蛋糕作結! 整體感覺,價錢偏貴, 但質數唔算特別突出!

平時lunch 耐唔耐都會約附近返工嘅朋友食好西, 好多時都會去frites, 今日諗住試吓隔離嗰間flames, 但可能天雨路滑, 同埋我哋晏咗出動, 去到門口已經大排長龍!

The dishes on lunch menu are honestly overpriced. The chef and kitchen team needs to work on flavoring and coloring of the dishes. 可一不可再,環境價錢可以吸引到大多數中環商務客,但食物質素認真未如理想。188大元嘅set lunch 色調,擺盤和味道都唔合格,只係食到一碟橄欖油味。臨埋單前問有冇咖啡順便埋單,侍應A先係同我哋話要加錢,侍應B 攞帳單嚟又提醒番有跟餐咖啡或茶。呢一餐難忘,但其實我希望忘記。

This restaurant is located in a Kwun tong commercial building which can get free parking easily. This restaurant is quite nice as there are not too crowded. I like the octopus and the steak. The spaghetti is ok.So far they didn’t charge corkage. Would be a good place to bring wine and catch up.

同同事lunch , 其他餐廳排晒隊,得佢唔洗等,menu都唔平,但見到環境唔錯,就諗住試吓Starter 3揀1,就咁睇以為三樣都有得食,因為無個‘OR’ 或select 1 , cold cut黎左又漏左包。等左大半個鐘,追左2次個扒終於黎,牛juicy 但無乜牛味,同事果件仲要有一大部分un 到咬唔到。最後餐飲,成個lunch 男士一定唔夠飽。午餐$248+10% , 會expect 好啲同飽啲。間餐廳好大得4個waiter/ waitress, 有禮貌但多甩漏。
