WILDFIRE做得出色,牛油檸檬STEAM,少少鹹,剛剛好。

孖G妹則吃pizza,薄底pizza,有青椒、洋葱、辣肉腸等配料,咬落個底都夠脆,份量都幾大,孖G妹同保羅只吃了一半,另一半則打包。

甜品係焦糖布甸,合哂孖G妹和保羅胃口,正,又香又滑。


第二次main course
保羅吃菠菜煙肉忌廉汁意粉,菠菜健康,勁多煙肉。

孖G妹則吃牛扒伴薯角,牛扒份量都ok大,切落夠淋,lunch厘講都唔錯。

甜品係凍餅,都唔錯。


這裡都叫坐得舒服,又有海景睇。

經理和服務員招呼亦很好及有禮貌。

沙律bar較為普通,但main course+dessert+coffee反而唔錯,比想像中好,加上main cours份量好夠

I suggested to have pizza as we havent had pizza for a while. We walked into Wildfire in the end. It was our first time there. We walked into Wildfire in the end. It was our first time there. We got in about 6.45pm and didnt have to wait, it might be still early so there was only two table including ours. The lighting at the restuarant was abit dimmed, we hardly can read the menu. The restaurant itself was a L-shape, the reliance on the outside lights to shine through could be be achieved.

We ordered a set steak dinner (char-grill sirloin steak) and smoke salmon casear salad and a black forest pizza for the three of us as we werent a very big eater and we were abit worry if the steak came too big like the ones in the Outback. We were readly to order at 7pm, a filo looking waiter came and took our order, he repeated kindly of what we have ordered and confirmed our dishes - sirloin steak, casear salad and a pizza. Few minutes later, the manager (I assume) came to us and asked if we have ordered two things sirloin steak and salad?
we assume he meant the set steak dinner. So we said yes. A few more people arrived (about 3-4 tables) at this time - they all seems to have been reserved.

About 5 minutes later the salad came, and then the steak. The casear salad was fresh - the lettuces were crispy. The sides that accompany the steak were a cob of corn, aspargus, red onion, baked potato. The cob of corn was very old and not fresh. The baked potato had too little sour cream. The red onion were very nice and sweet. The steak itself was average, wasnt very tender. We finished the course and were twisting our fingers thinking when the pizza going to arrive... It was at least 1/2hr since we finished the steak. A chinese waiter saw us with the empty plate and were sitting there for a while he came and drop us the dessert menu and some toothpicks. We then said to him we are still waiting on our pizza, he said he will check with the kitchen but never came back. We caught him walking past, we asked him where is our pizza? he said it will be about 5-10 mins.
We noticed a same pizza was given to a table next to ours and also those who came later then us has gotten their pizzas. We waited for another 5-10min and ask the same waiter again he said they are very busy and will have to wait for another 5-10mins (He was very rude and unprofessional - he gave us the look of you should have ordered it earlier we are very busy now!!) .
We were very surprise that we ordered way before the other customers but the others have arrived and yet he said to us we are very busy??? We asked if they have missed our order and had to re-cook?? the waiter did not answer us and walked away...
Another 10 mins gone.... we asked the same waiter again when is our pizza going to arrive?? Just as he said will be another few more mintues another waiter came with our pizza. The anticipated long-waiting pizza has finally arrived but the taste was very average - a few pieces of mushroom, large chunk of garlic (unevenly cut and spead), very little cheese and sauce...

Overall poor attitude/atmosphere in the restaurant. It was our first time there and probably our last time if their customers service doesnt change. Originally we were going to order dessert but by the looks of their service, we could be getting our dessert by 10pm...

It's Friday night again!!!! It's been quite sometime since we last have our "Friday Night Table for Two" dinner. I suggested several Japanese restaurants but my hubby turned them all down. May be he has been overwhelmed by sushi lately. We've walked around for a while before we decided to go to Wildfire. We went to the one in Stanley before and this was the first time we come to the Causeway Bay branch.We waited for around 15 minutes before we got seated even though it has passed 8:30 p.m.

It's Friday night again!!!! It's been quite sometime since we last have our "Friday Night Table for Two" dinner. I suggested several Japanese restaurants but my hubby turned them all down. May be he has been overwhelmed by sushi lately. We've walked around for a while before we decided to go to Wildfire. We went to the one in Stanley before and this was the first time we come to the Causeway Bay branch.

We waited for around 15 minutes before we got seated even though it has passed 8:30 p.m. Sure that's normal for restaurants in Causeway Bay especially for the good ones. We've got seated at a table close to the entrance and thus didn't get to see to much of the sea view. But that's okay as we were too hungry to wait any longer.

The atmosphere at the restaurant was good with the lights dimmed. The set menu wasn't attractive to us so we've made up our own 4-course dinner from the a la carte menu for sharing:

Appetizer: Layered eggplant and tomato parmesan

- This is a house special for the evening. The eggplant slices and tomato slices were stacked up in layers with buffalo mozzarella cheese in between. The eggplant had been slightly floured and then pan fried, which gave it a crispy texture. The slightly cooked tomato slices had a rich tomato flavor as well. This combination goes just perfect together.

House salad

- This was a very simple salad with assorted lettuce, tomato, olives, artichoke tossed with mild vinaigrette dressing, then topped with 8-9 thinly sliced duck breast and homemade croutons. What special with this salad was that a few red-wine vinegar-marinated pearl onions were added to give a bit of strong flavor to the greens.

International Pizza

- This was actually just a pizza which we could choose 5 toppings on our own. Our picks were buffalo mozzarella, artichoke, smoked salmon, prama ham & mushroom. I was lured to pick shrimp initially but experience told me that frozen shrimps would probably be used. The thin pizza crust was very crispy. The prama ham and smoked salmon were added after the pizza came out of the oven so that they didn't get dried up. I personally think the ingredients we picked had been quite well balanced with veggie, meat and seafood.

Dessert - Banana creme brulee with vanilla ice cream

- Creme brulee is one of my favorite dessert and to my surprise, it's a perfect match with banana! The banana had actually helped lightening this rich cream-base dessert, and besides, some fresh fruit after dinner is always welcomed! It was great that the warm-thick cream wasn't too sweet and created a pleasant contrast with the cold-sweet vanilla ice cream.

The service was basically good too! The waitress had been very patient in explaining how the Wildfire discount card works when we asked about it. We had actually considered obtaining the card since a 50% discount off the a la carte menu seems like a good deal. But then she told us that we could use Cxxxbank visa to get a 30% discount too. So be it! It was really a pleasant surprise!!


To conclude, we are quite satisfied and will go back again for sure!

4月24日, 行下行下黎到世貿, 見到呢度有set lunch食, 因為平時經過dinner都冇set, 所以襯機會嘆一個lunch~ 被安排坐喺窗口位, 對住維多利亞港, 猛烈太陽雖然狂晒住, 但係坐喺室內卻有種涼快感~::: set lunch ::: $88包括有前菜, 主菜, 飲品及甜品~前菜要咗香檳蝦, 賣相精美, 2隻鮮甜大蝦加上沙律菜, 非常開胃~ 杯裏嘅係淡淡地但係好清甜嘅蕃茄汁, 同蝦味亦好夾, 呢個配搭十分平衡~主菜要咗西冷扒, 7成熟. 肉質鮮嫩, 剛好一咬就開, 完全唔韌. 燒汁味道雖澴但係唔會搶咗肉嘅味道~ 伴碟配菜有d什菇同薯仔, 什菇好淋, 炒過下所以好香~ 薯仔連皮煎所以d皮少少脆好惹味~甜品係草莓奶凍, 中規中矩, 唔算特出~ 凍奶茶自己落奶, 難以控制, 奶味又比較淡, 所以調出黎嘅味道怪怪…::: Wildfire House Salad 野火特色沙律配煙鴨胸 ::: $82Portion係極大! Portion係極大! D沙律菜好新鮮~ 除咗各式沙律菜之外仲有大大舊厚肉番茄, 鮮甜嘅洋蔥圈, 夠脆嘅麵包粒, 橄欖同芝士粒~ salad dressing係用油醋汁, 酸酸地好開胃! 令人驚喜嘅係煙鴨胸, 肉質嫩滑兼juicy~ 正!! 成個沙律不論賣相同味道都好豐富~ 份量足3-4人份, 好抵食!!!

環境幾好, 可以望住個無敵靚海景, 又靜靜地冇乜人, d waiter service都唔錯, 有禮貌做野又爽手! 黎嘆個lunch都真係幾寫意~

恒生咭9 折, 平均每人$164.
1) 鮮帶子配橄欖番茄汁扁意粉 : 西葫蘆及普丹斯卡汁, 酸酸甜甜的, 很醒胃. 鮮帶子也很新鮮, 厚厚的一片. 意粉有點oily, 細細的一條很容易入口.
2) 野火特色沙律配煙鴨胸肉: Wildfire 獨有的沙律醬較為水份多的, 不是杰撻撻的, 味道甜中略帶酸. 那些有機菜就用作在這個前菜中. 充滿著田園的氣色. 另外, 一片片的意大利辣味香腸也非常惹味. 也有麵包糠在這一道菜中.非常香脆.
3) 意式水牛芝士薄餅: 芝士咸淡適中, 皮也不厚不薄, 介乎兩者之間. 不過皮內沒有什麼內涵, 而且也略嫌太軟了, 不能好好的拿在手吃. 雖然薄餅焗得很香, 但質感真的差了一點.
4) 焗手製面包: 香脆的外層加上軟滑的內層, 表面還有些香草和香蒜及果粒, 牛油味十分濃郁, 香噴噴的. 大少剛剛好, 一口咬下去. 更可以沾黑醋或芥茉, 更添美味.
5) 燒香草羊冧肉扒: 黑椒味及wasabi 味的羊肉, 啖啖肉, 羊肉不羶, 肉質幼嫩, 一口便咬開, 肉汁濃郁且很豐富. 類似麵包的那一個東東叫做polenta, 用粟米和燕麥做成的, 香, 鬆化, 作為一種澱粉質食品, 總好過吃麵包/ 薄餅那麼普通.

Food: There was a pre-fixe 3 course dinner which was $168 which compared to the a la carte menu is good value. However, I just wanted to order what I wanted, ie all the special Wildfire recommendations.

Spinach salad: The most boring underwhelming salad I've ever had. Was a bed of soggy spinach and the most frugal amount of mini croutons (not fresh baked) and maybe a few pine nuts on top. Balsamic dressing on the side. Big disappointment to start


Eggplant and tomato tower (appetizer): Came with deep fried eggplant layered with sliced tomato and topped with a melted cheese on top. Sounds good, but actual was again disappointing. The entire dish was served lukewarm (cheese was hard already) and the deep fried eggplant would've been nice if it was fresh - but it was soggy from the oil...Very uninspired and not sure why its a wildfire specialty...

Braised pork rib: this was the most expensive entree on the menu (HKD195) so I assumed it would be their best... The braised pork turned out to be a huge portion, however the meat was more dry than I preferred (not sure how braised meat could turn out dry...) and was smothered with a bbq sauce. Came paired with i believe cubes of pumpkin or some squash and green beans and an extra bbq sauce. I would pass and just get ribs...

Linguine with scallops: The worst paired dish I've ever had. I was shocked!
The linguine came dry (barely and sauce) and the sauce was this spicy black bean sauce - like Chinese/Szechuan style... Came over bed of baby tomatoes and peppers. Why would linguine be paired with an Asian sauce? I felt I was eating a Chinese dish and then there were tomatoes and peppers.... Not to mention this came with scallops that were utterly tasteless. No seasoning whatsoever, no salt/pepper, even some butter would've helped....

Service: Sub-par service for the price you pay. We were almost done with the salad and had no drinks...I had to wave down a waiter to ask her to give us some water (they have no tap, just bottled...). Overall poor attitude/atmosphere in the restaurant.

Sizing it up: The worst western food ever. I came here once for tea time and had a good value tea set with a pizza. I think their pizza is the ONLY decent dish. I expected far better quality of menu and service during dinner time - and was sorely disappointed. Will never come here again nor will ever mention this place to anyone. Turned out to be almost ~HKD700 for 2 ppl dinner.........

幾個老友出黎吹水.搵間無甘曹嘅餐廳先.就wild fire朋友話貪佢有海景仔.(奇實係得半個海景)叫左個雞翼.外面炸得好香.肉質好滑.:..開始有d期望下一道菜.因為本來諗住求其搵間餐廳黎吹吓水.wild fire salad都好多料.分量亦夠睇.虾肉扁意粉..正!好香欖油味.虾肉好爽.朋友都話尼個好味..bbq pizza...有小小濃.但真係好脆.唔錯....希望下次再黎你唔好唔走左樣啦.

食落只覺三文魚切得較厚, 好 "smoked" 的味道及滑滑肥肥的質地, 好飽膩, 算唔上好食.

Appetizer #2 係 scallop with camembert fondue on potato pancake, fennel and apple slaw*, 面頭一樣有大量 greens, 亦一樣咁難食
而 finger food size 的 scallop on potato pancake 就只有 2 件, 食落算香口, 不過煎/燒得有點過火; potato pancake 味道唔 potato, camembert cheese 就可幸夠奶香. 不過咁樣收人 60 幾 70 蚊一客, 都幾 rip off.


Pizza 揀了材料最簡單, 只落 tomato sauce, buffalo mozzarella 及 basil 的 Bufala*: 賣相無問題, 不過一拎上手佢立即「下墮」
又話佢有個薄餅爐嘅, 點解可以軟到咁? 食落麵粉香都有的, 不過好濕, 搞乜鬼?
Tomato sauce 酸得很, 味道亦單調得很, 無「清新」的感覺, 真無癮; 所謂的 buffalo mozzarella 就落得好少, 味道又淡淡的 (連淡淡奶香都唔覺有), 真係
令人十分無癮的一個 pizza, 喊面唔想慳了.

作為 Igor's 集團旗下餐廳, 環境衛生就當然無問題, 店員們亦比般咸道店的友善有禮得多, 不過個 pizza 食到火都嚟
, 唔係仲返轉頭幫襯呀嘛? 後會無期!
