工展會最後一天。難得調到這附近工作。但因已經接近完結。所以沒有入場遊覽。那就選擇最近的大坑尋食。本想去食Hello Kitty cafe. 但原來已經關門了。那就普通食點東西就算。發現這間麵店,就去試一試。這間麵店總店在筲箕灣。這間是分店。今天大坑很寧靜。所以慢慢食都沒有太大壓力。最後聽職員說。原來工展會帶旺維園,反而令四周食店變得人少了。都好呀。可以慢慢來。今日我選擇了下面這個配搭:這裡沒有套餐。飲品要分開點。我選了大可樂。價值$11。其實都幾貴。不過車仔麵沒有可樂,又唔係太滿足。講回那個麵,這裡選擇唔多,丸類比較多。但只選擇丸類又覺得唔值這個價錢,所以特意選擇了豬手,開始時都唔會太大期望。因為覺得這裡的價錢,只反映這裡的租金和物價指數。但食後很驚喜,豬手很易入口,很「琳身」。很有味道,真係估唔到呀。反之那些牛筋丸就唔太合水準。食落一點都唔彈牙,沒有太多筋。似普通牛丸。有點失望。如果要選擇我想我下次要一個豬手麵可以了。還可以便宜一點。

十多年前當我還未回港定居時,有一次回港渡假,好友特地駕車帶我到筲箕灣東大街吃「(魚)片頭切(牛)腩豉油撈粗(麵)」,一試難忘。數年後回港工作,我亦不時獨自過來吃「撈粗」,通常光顧的都不外乎那兩家麵店,最近得知其中一家落戶大坑,因為地點離家較近,所以特別方便。今天專程去試試大坑分店的水準,假日下午十二時半抵達,門外已有八人等候,這店不大,大概只有十到二十個座位,幸好獨個來,不用等位;點了我的例牌「(魚)片頭切(牛)腩豉油撈粗(麵)」後五分鐘,麵便到枱,清湯牛腩的色澤油潤,吃一口,牛腩不單肥瘦均勻,亦炆得腍,但我個人較喜歡有嚼口的牛腩;粗麵煮得爽口,但麵身過濕,豉油微甜;魚片頭一貫的彈牙,水準與老店一樣;值得一提的是枱上有炸蒜蓉和兩種不同辣度的辣椒油以供佐食。我很高興再不用到東大街也可吃到我喜愛的香港道地美食!

今天專程去試試大坑分店的水準,假日下午十二時半抵達,門外已有八人等候,這店不大,大概只有十到二十個座位,幸好獨個來,不用等位;點了我的例牌「(魚)片頭切(牛)腩豉油撈粗(麵)」後五分鐘,麵便到枱,清湯牛腩的色澤油潤,吃一口,牛腩不單肥瘦均勻,亦炆得腍,但我個人較喜歡有嚼口的牛腩;粗麵煮得爽口,但麵身過濕,豉油微甜;魚片頭一貫的彈牙,水準與老店一樣;值得一提的是枱上有炸蒜蓉和兩種不同辣度的辣椒油以供佐食。

在大坑散策,經過這間樸緻的魚蛋粉店,看見乾淨的木枱,收拾企理的調味品架,便不得不入內一試,因經驗所得,這般企理的小店出品一定不會差。大碗上桌,熱騰騰的,用匙羹另外盛着葱花,吃那刻才想走青也可。先喝口湯,湯屬清甜,混着腩汁便更濃郁,牛筋腩份量不多,肉跟筋份量相等,肉是吃得出一絲絲,不算太腍,是我喜歡的質感,滷汁入味,有明顯桂皮、薑、八角的味道,不會過鹹,筋也做得軟滑。吃口河粉,實淨不爛,屬較幼身的類别,難得有少許米味。再吃葱花魚蛋,咬下爽口,味也甜不腥,倘若彈牙度再加強更佳!第二轉,加入辣椒油(細心位有大辣或小辣之選),  喝湯、吃牛腩、河粉、魚蛋,風味又與別不同。下次會在正餐時再來,試試這兒的炸魚蛋,片頭及豬手!

吃口河粉,實淨不爛,屬較幼身的類别,難得有少許米味。再吃葱花魚蛋,咬下爽口,味也甜不腥,倘若彈牙度再加強更佳!第二轉,加入辣椒油(細心位有大辣或小辣之選),  喝湯、吃牛腩、河粉、魚蛋,風味又與別不同。

去開房協,發現附近有好多餐廳,行過睇咗好多間,但我一心只想食湯粉就揀喱間。位置不多,得四五張圓枱。過咗午飯時候所以人不多。個餐牌都寫到明係魚蛋老手始於1950,點都要試下佢啲魚蛋既。有得單拼or雙拼,叫左碗雙拼(豬手+炸魚蛋)湯河,豬手炆行幾腍,肉質彈牙入味,反而炸魚蛋比較遜色,太過淋又唔彈牙。河粉係一夾起就碎一夾起碎,好無瘾。總括黎講,食道味道麻麻,普通份量,環境方面佢對住啲車房,好吸塵又嘈👎🏻。

週末相約友人在銅鑼灣逛街,閒逛了數小時,便開始飢腸轆轆 。眾所週知,鄰近的大坑是美食集中地,小巷之間食店林立。於是,我們便沿路從銅鑼灣走到大坑覓食。友人向我推薦了老字號王林記,因我亦對它的手打魚蛋慕名已久,便立刻拍板到王林記醫肚。友人曾多次到訪王林記,甫坐下便向我誠意推介它的炆腩撈粗配香蔥魚蛋。柱侯牛腩帶少許肥肉,入口滑嫩,炆得入味而不黏牙;撈粗乾爽,亦不見油膩;只可惜麵質略硬,實為美中不足。相比之下,我更欣賞香蔥魚蛋。手打魚蛋果然入口爽滑彈牙,而且魚肉非常新鮮,絲毫不見腥味 。加上魚蛋裡混入了粒粒香蔥,彈牙新鮮的魚肉帶有蔥的清香,可謂相得益彰。雖然我嫌撈粗麵身偏硬,但魚蛋好吃,而炆腩亦頗有水準,值得再訪!

相比之下,我更欣賞香蔥魚蛋。手打魚蛋果然入口爽滑彈牙,而且魚肉非常新鮮,絲毫不見腥味 。加上魚蛋裡混入了粒粒香蔥,彈牙新鮮的魚肉帶有蔥的清香,可謂相得益彰。



雖然我嫌撈粗麵身偏硬,但魚蛋好吃,而炆腩亦頗有水準,值得再訪!

Came here wandering around Tai Hang for a hole-in-the-wall. Wasn't crowded but had a flavorful soup noodle with tender beef brisket and good fish cake/balls. Server was helpful in asking what I liked and explaining the (English) menu that is laid out in a way that makes it difficult to interpret.

Hk style zhajiang noodle is quite different from the shanghai style or the taiwan style. Coming to Wong Lam Kee, although famous for its fish ball noodles, my urge for the zhajiang noodle was craving on the day.

Having distinct sweetness and chilli on palate, the experience was being describe by others as chilli version of sweet and sour sauce. Using sliced pork fillet and HK egg noodle, this dish does reflect the typical HK zhajiang noodle style. Pork is quite fresh and typical chewy texture. Normally comes with a soup (which is not in the picture), is however, a bit too heavy on white pepper.
A very typical hk style zha jiang noodle with interior design reflecting 80s-90s of Hong Kong.

今日PJ同松松大爺去大坑go 街街,路經呢間 since 1950 由筲箕灣起家的王林記粉麵分店,見有露天戶外位,暗喜,於是便帶埋坐在手推車內的松松在這裡嘆個下午茶。禮貌上先問店家會否介意,店內這位大姐回應的態度,為這編食評服務這欄拿下最低分埋下了伏線...話說阿J問完這位大姐後,大姐的回應是: "坐出去!!" 哦,知道,於是我們便坐出門口位置看餐牌。好,可以點菜,點了凈蘿蔔及魚蛋河,然後問阿姐蔥可否另上,阿姐說係咪走蔥,我說蔥可否另上,阿姐再說係咪走蔥,我又說蔥可否另上,阿姐忽然大聲說d蔥是放在匙羹另上的...哦,知道了。 在等待食物期間,八卦的我聽見店長跟這位阿姐商量返工更表,說可否在某天返工不放假之類的,阿姐氣焰的回應說: 睇下點,遲下再話過你知,不如攞長假好唔好.... 今日PJ同松松大爺去大坑go 街街,路經呢間 since 1950 由筲箕灣起家的王林記粉麵分店,見有露天戶外位,暗喜,於是便帶埋坐在手推車內的松松在這裡嘆個下午茶。禮貌上先問店家會否介意,店內這位大姐回應的態度,為這編食評服務這欄拿下最低分埋下了伏線...

哦,知道,於是我們便坐出門口位置看餐牌。好,可以點菜,點了凈蘿蔔及魚蛋河,然後問阿姐蔥可否另上,阿姐說係咪走蔥,我說蔥可否另上,阿姐再說係咪走蔥,我又說蔥可否另上,阿姐忽然大聲說d蔥是放在匙羹另上的...哦,知道了。 在等待食物期間,八卦的我聽見店長跟這位阿姐商量返工更表,說可否在某天返工不放假之類的,阿姐氣焰的回應說: 睇下點,遲下再話過你知,不如攞長假好唔好....

魚旦魚片河啲湯都係好鹹,,主角魚旦魚味欠奉,我只吃到極重的胡椒粉味。魚片好普通,隨街都搵到一間更好的。

這品牌已營運了65年,食物基本上不差,但絕對談不上出色,加上離哂大𧪽的服務態度,今天的經歷,已徹底毀掉了王林記這分店於我心目中的形象。本想俾喊評,但將心比己,若自己辛苦經營多年的品牌因為一個心情不好的員工而拿下第一個喊評,好像太殘忍吧。

忽然好想食牛腩叫咗清湯坑腩粗麵、炆牛腩墨丸米坑腩夠淋又有口感,都好入味!另一碗炆牛腩份量都幾多,仲有好多牛筋👍牛腩較坑腩略為咸,一點也不覺得韌,炆嘅時間相信要拿捏得好好!米粉又滑,湯嘅味道濃郁,墨丸新鮮彈牙有墨魚味另外亦提供多款配料,炸蒜、冬菜、辣椒油亦有大辣之分!會再去

在油菜與上湯蘿蔔兩個選擇,我們揀了「上湯蘿蔔」伴粉麵吃,這蘿蔔湯味道比撈麵湯好,沒有那麼鹹,蘿蔔也算清甜,感覺尚佳。
