Love the atmosphere here and definitely had a chill time here on a Saturday. There’re not many Chinese tea houses in Hong Kong, and this one, nestled at the corner of a quiet street in Sheung Wan did not disappoint with its authentic, top-quality tea leaves! I had the white peony tea brewing experience and absolutely loved it! You could while away the time here with a friend and the price of the experience is pretty decent if you’re staying for a few hours. Highly recommend if you’re around the area and want to have some relaxing time to unwind!! continue reading

Y.Y.Teahouse is a Pu-Er n Rock Oolong speciality teahouse with a great selection of aged n new teas. I found my morning pick-me-up tea here — the Phoenix Dancong, esp. the Honey Orchid 蜜蘭香 which is priced at $480 per box. It is very floral yet complex with a strong aftertaste. Just the way I like it. They offer 2 tea tasting menus so tea lovers can try them out b4 buying in huge quantities. It’s a great hang out place for friends or a quiet working space on weekdays. It is also friendly for well behaved doggies, so take your dog out for a chill day at an artsy tearoom, an absolute delight in life. continue reading

Excellent place to rest and to recharge when you have no stomach for coffee and sweets. You can drink any kind of Chinese tea on the menu, and some not on the menu as long as it catches your curiosity. The shop attendant is helpful and not at all pushy. You may spend a little more than a coffee and cake, but you will leave with sweet taste in the mouth and lightness in the spirit. continue reading
