Made a delivery order on foodpanda and the shakshouka arrived as a mere portion of scrambled eggs with pieces of red and green pepper, with no sign of any "flavoursome tomato sauce" which they had put in their description, and a small side of tahini sauce. Called up Zooba and the person who picked up the phone tried her best to arrange for a corrected order, which I had agreed to pick up at the the restaurant. However, the chefs heavily insisted that the shakshouka is meant to be cooked the way we received it, and refused to arrange for the dish to be remade. What was supposed to be worth $65 arrived as a quick scrambled eggs dish that you could quickly whip up at home. Utterly disappointed with the chefs.. Would not recommend and would not order again.

Without knowing much about the area but in the mood for mediterranean cuisine, we picked Zooba for lunch on Sunday. The decor is beautiful inside but the atmosphere is more bar/party oriented and not so much for lively Sunday brunch. Smoking is allowed, the music was quite loud. For lunch atmosphere, we were the only ones there in an otherwise empty restaurant. As for the food...The vegetarian mezze was delicious and well worth it! The kefta tagine wasn't filling on its own so I wouldn't recommend it for a meal. In summary, I think this may be a good place for drinks and hookah and less so for lunch.

Had a wonderful time with a girlfriend there for dinner. I just searched “Middle Eastern restaurant in TST” and there were 2 results - the other was Kennedy 7 PO - passed! At Zooba, staff were friendly, welcoming & food was delicious! Starters: Falafel (served with a Tahini sauce and some greens - nice texture (not dry! Well seasoned) Hummus served with Pita bread (Hummus had great texture but a bit bland - we added salt/lemon!)Main:We shared a Lamb Tagine & ordered a side (not included) of Pita bread basket (they do have couscous, rice & other options too)Drinks:Thursday night apparently was ladies night! Buy 1, get 1 ;) Great! I had Prosecco & Red wine.Verdict: We both loved it and we will be back!Great service & value!!

First attracted by their interior then realized they served shisha as well. Shisha on fleek on the first time, Wookah pipe they used. Thick smoke and strong flavour, charcoal was burnt evenly. First change of charcoal after 45 minutes. However, my subsequent visits were disappointing, the mixologist left the bar, leaving the shisha tasteless and choky. A 15-minute old shisha tasted like a burn-out. Requested for charcoal change and did not help, the Wookah should have helped but unfortunately it didn’t. Forgot about the price. Think like $300-$350.Since then I never visited again for the shisha, the food was good on the other hand. Again, plenty of choices around the area nowadays, skippable shisha in my opinion.
