To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

This restaurant in Tai Kwun has one of the best outdoor seating in Hong Kong. While I was having dinner there, I felt like I was transported to Europe. It is such a cute and lively space and you can people watch while having a chill dinner with some nice drinks. The overall vibe was so chill and I’d even come here for happy hour too. We got the beef tartare, the octopus salad, and the feta bruschetta, which were all pretty good. And of course some espresso martinis to go with our dinner!

Nice atmosphere, coffee did not meet my expectations for a French cafe and food was ok. It was quiet and a good place to meet friends. Very comfortable furnishings. At the end, the lady gave us words about how we settled the bill (split into 2 smaller tables) even tho we spoke and agreed at the beginning to make it easy for her. She didn’t tell us we could order and pay individually but then said we should have done it this way. Wasn’t a big deal but didn’t appreciate her changing her mind and then making a fuss.
