Went with friends that spoke English. At first all was OK until we wanted takeaway boxes, wanted to charge me $10 until I spoke in Cantonese and asked her before she said it was for 3 bags and a plastic bag. Then I said I only wanted one and she said $5. I asked her about it and she had an attitude telling me she worked there for a long time and it's always been that way. Called the restaurant later and another lady apologise but am still very appalled. Never going again. Don't recommend if you don't speak Cantonese. continue reading

While the prices may be on the higher side, averaging $180-200 per person, the quality of the dishes more than justifies the cost.One standout item is the deep-fried octopus tail, which is both generously sized and exceptionally delicious. 星期六在中環,突然間想去飲茶,找了八公館,不用等位,十分方便。上一次是同事帶我去,是星期一至五期間飲中午茶,人山人海,但印象這裏的點心有一定質素。因為太耐沒有飲茶了,所以叫了蝦餃和灌湯餃,另外叫了一碟菜。蝦餃是最好的頂點,味道仍然保持水準。至於灌湯餃,材料是十足,但略嫌湯比較淡。值得一提,我是一個人去,侍應給我這位男士一小碟蕎頭的小食,我覺得一般男士都不喜歡吃酸味的小食,於是我便問可否轉其他小食,他們才給我玩了一碟花生。我覺得這是他們不夠細心的地方。 continue reading

一行15人,冇預約,都安排到一張大枱,雖然坐得迫迫地,但係喺中環午飯時間真係好難得。點心中上,流沙包,蝦餃好味,最推薦龍蝦泡飯。A group of 15 people, without a reservation, got arranged at a large table. Although it was a tight fit, it's really rare to find such accommodation during lunchtime in Central. The dim sum is above average; the lobster rice in soup comes highly recommended. continue reading

新年期間食開年飯,8個人book咗VIP房,我哋準時12:30到達,叫咗套餐($4xxx), 等咗45分鐘都未上過任何菜,期間一直追有冇漏單,侍應回覆話冇漏單和已經叫廚房加快速度。如事者等多半小時先上到2碟餸,再等再追先至話漏單。埋單時個經理竟然話唔知我哋有咩問題,你有問題都冇辦法,然後一聲不響就走咗。真係不知所謂,係20幾年最差嘅經驗,仲要話你哋鐘意寫到幾衰都冇所謂,咁做生意都得?順帶一提,新年流流個甜品竟然係白果糖水,真係多得佢哋唔少。真係冇下次,black list咗你哋👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻 continue reading
