I came here Sunday after the Marathon and was looking for something to eat after the half marathon. The food was delicious, and the Staff was very welcoming. The Restaurant Decor is lovely, bright and relaxing. I had a chocolate banana smoothie as I felt I deserved it after the run. For lunch, I had Grilled chicken breast. It was delicious and came with a generous serving of broccoli. I was surprised when I checked the reviews that some were not so good. Perhaps under new management or a new chef; either way, I am not sure, but my experience left me very happy and content after a grueling half-marathon I will be stopping by again for sure!! continue reading

Wow!! I must say the management at Tai Hang Bar & Grill has changed things. I visited frequently, 2-3 times a week, for breakfast or lunch. Thefood was always good, and portions were always very generous. During COVID-19, I moved out of Tai Hang and hadn't returned. I visited recently and noticed a huge change. New furniture and a new menu. It was the best dining experience at Tai Hang Bar & Grill. I'm not sure if management hired a new chef, but whatever they are doing, they are doing a good job!! Even the coffee is good. I am glad to see things have improved. I will be back for sure!  continue reading

lunch包starter, main, desert or coffee。 desert係brownie,ok啦因為not my cup of tea,咖啡都ok。 continue reading

It's Wednesday steak night, we went for their steak night for a celebrate of mid week.Staff was nice and friendly. Greeting with a warming smile and efficiently helping out to make the order and serving water. We ordered their calamari, their steak night in a medium rare tenderloin and hummus and falafel wrap. Calamari was served in hot plate. Crispy well seasoned coating with just the right amount of chewiness squid. Garlic aioli had a right amount of garlic flavour. It was delicious. It will be appreciated if a slice of lemon serving aside for extra acidity if wish. Hummus and falafel wrap was served with a small side salad and chips. Hummus and falafel wrap was pre-cut and wrapped in parchment paper which thoughtfully to eat with clean hands. Hummus was thinly coated which didn't overpower the vegetables and falafel. The homemade falafel was mixed with herbed chickpea and quinoa which quinoa gave extra texture. Falafel wasn't crumbly that it held in shape until the last bite. Side salad was uniquely drizzled with raspberry vinaigrette, fresh and citrusy. Good to clear your palate so as balance out the heaviness from the chips. Chips were freshly fried that crispy skin with silky potato inside. It was another delightful dish. Moving on the steak night, the medium rare tenderloin served with chips and a side salad. It was a huge disappointment that I barely ate after 2 bites. More than half of the steak was in raw and rare side. Very chewy that I couldn't bite off in pieces. I just gave up the steak and finished rest of the side. Sides were pretty much same with the wrap, no disappointment. As we missed out one of the main, we decided to get two dessert to fill ourselves up and hopefully round tonight's up nicer.Chocolate cookie in skillet topped with a scoop of vanilla ice cream was incredible. Skillet was burning hot that could tell it's freshly bake. Ice cream melted on the cookie. Crunchy edges with gooey centre pairing with the vanilla ice cream it was remarkable. It wasn't dense. Ice cream was big enough to serve with every bite. Good job.Cheesecake topped with a scoop of vanilla ice cream was first looking pretty heavy as the portion seems big. After the first bite, it was surprisingly light. Unlike traditional New York cheesecake that were dense and heavy and difficult to keep eating it. It was light with a hint of cheese flavour. Even serving with the ice cream, vanilla brought a hint of coolness and sweetness combining with the light cheese flavour, it was amazing! Cookie crust was right amount of thickness and crunch. Edge part was a bit thick but as a cooke crust lover, it was a bonus.Overall, it was a great dinner except the steak. All food were served with quality and flavour. With addition of friendly service, it was quite an enjoyable dining experience. continue reading
