同一條街道,帶來不一樣的感覺,入夜後的星街,寧靜而充滿著異國風情,外籍人士坐在靠街的高椅,摸著酒杯在聊天。店內空間感極強,高懸的吊燈,透出柔和的燈光,不單適合朋友間的聚會,更可以跟另一半來個fine dining。餐前先來一杯Sangria,香香甜甜又夠凍,喝起來很舒服。餐包塗上了蒜蓉,香脆可口,對於肚餓的在下,二話不說,連吃了好幾片。頭盤是Sauteed Chorizo With Onions,把切片的西班牙臘腸用洋蔥炒過,油脂滲出,香味更濃,一口肉一口酒,很粗獷的吃法。之後是Grilled Vegetable Tower,用洋蔥片包裹了燒過的蘑菇、蕃茄及茄子,再伴以南瓜汁,蘸點一下,清甜的味道,輕輕把油膩感降低。Cod Fish Fritters 是將新鮮鱈魚製成球形,吃來有絲絲魚肉,油份又瀝得清,大廚在時間上拿捏得相當準。想不到Deep Fried Calamari with Aioli Sauce,比中式常見的油炸手法更準繩,薄薄的脆漿,依然保持亮麗的色彩,熱辣辣上檯,但又不失外脆內煙韌的嚼口,就算不蘸點蛋黃醬都已經好好味,值得一試。Garlic Prawns把蝦殼褪去,用刴碎

大概Braised Ox-tongue in Red Wine Sauce是用牛舌心的位置,因為切成長條,每條的比例平均,炆得夠稔身,但牛味似乎給蓋過,其實可以更好。Wild Mushroom Soup有著很濃稠的蘑菇香味,呷一口有細粒的蘑茹,加上澆了松露油,令到香味更突出。Mussels in White Wine Sauce是一道常見的菜色,白酒汁很香,但不會很濃稠,藍貝肉質幼嫩,就連醬汁都可以用來蘸點麵包。

同意食友所講,Seafood Paella - with Mussels, Clams Squid and Chorizo在色澤上的確是下少了saffron,但依然有可觀性,魚、蝦、貝的組合,鮮味都跑到飯內,但飯粒仍未到夾生飯的標準,可能要遷就香港人的口味吧!不過個人覺得沒必要。

驟眼一看,還以為Baked Whole Red Snapper in Lemon & White Wine Sauce是辣的,賣相有著刴椒魚的影子,但再細看,原來是刴碎的甜椒、乾蔥及香草,最後澆上西餐常用的白酒檸檬汁,不過吃來少了一份魚肉的鮮味,有點美中不足。Roasted Whole Chicken in Special Herbs聰明地用上size較細的雞,烤焗起來油脂不多,而且容易熟,肉質不會死實,雞皮仍有少許香脆,略有香茅味,處理得比中式食店還要好,令人意想不到。

甜品Apple Tart,Vanilla Ice-cream,Profiteroles三合一,雪糕選用I-Scream品牌,不論把脆熱的蘋果揵蘸點雪糕,又或是用上泡芙,都是一個不錯的選擇。這個六人用Sharing Menu,只不過是$338一位,更有兩瓶Godello White或Corriente Red,跟朋友一同分享剛剛好。
