As I was open-ricing for a suitable restaurant for dinner on the 14 Aug 09, something caught my attention on the coupon section - 「安格斯牛之盛宴」半自助晚餐 (Angus Beef Dinner buffett). *What's GOOD about it?
The atmosphere was excellent. A rather high-ended but approachable restaurant. There was live piano music playing as I was sitting nearby the performer - a very relaxing evening I would say.
The appettizer and desserts could be choosen from the buffett area. The food quality was excellent as well as a wide range of choices. The chef constantly looked out for the amount of food left and dishes were frequently taken into the kitchen for addings. A must try would be the vegetables soup and the melons - very unforgettable!
The main dishes are chosen from a menu provided. My family and I have chosen the signature dish - Angus beef with potatoes and vegetables. We ordered medium raw for the angus beef - it was delicious. The texture was just right and the sauces given collabrated with the softness of the beef. This is another must-have!
The price of the meal was acceptable as there was a 75 折優惠 - it was worthwhile afterall.
*What's BAD about it?
The only thing I would comment about the meal was that the waiters were a bit slow on serving. If you are in a hurry, I would not recommend you to come. However, it was alright for me as I enjoyed the live paino playing while I waiting for the food.
Another thing is that there were limited seats so book the tables early to avoid disappointment!
