To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

最近同生蠔結下不少緣份,註定要大批大批俾我享用,除了早前到過中環的一間潮人酒吧之外,沙田萬怡酒店原來也推出了任飲任食的「豪飲蠔食星期二」的優惠,固名思義就只在星期二供應,所以上星期又與友人們抽室聞風而致,大飲大食一番。 老實說LEVELTHIRTY的夜景真是一流,居高臨下一覽沙田美景,如果碰著賽馬日,更有馬場景可看,試想想在如此美景下與友人聊天,確是賞心樂事。 人齊後就事不宜遲先來點汽酒來令心情放鬆,好好迎接連串下來的即開生蠔。除了汽酒外,還可選擇紅白餐酒,可是想要非酒精飲品,就要再自掏銀包了。 第一輪當然來一個哂冷,是晚供應了三款即開生蠔,分別是法國Fine de Claire、愛爾蘭的Irish Rock及澳洲的Coffin Bay,各有特式,有的爽甜,有的Creamy,有的富海水香,吃了第一輪後,接著便再來一輪,餐廳的開蠔速度一點也不弱,不消一會兒就再拿來了三打生蠔,大家又埋頭苦幹地吃蠔。 當兩輪後,大家都偏愛澳洲的Coffin Bay,可能由於那邊正是冬天,生蠔生長得得別肥美,配合固有的海水香,迷到了大家的味蕾,所以接下來也主攻了澳洲及愛爾蘭兩款。 吃

吃了不知多少輪之後,大家也想吃一點熱盤,幸好這兒除了任吃即開生蠔外,也有幾款鮮蠔美饌,分別是煙肉菠菜焗蠔、芝士焗蠔、磨菇焗蠔及吉列炸蠔。熟蠔的吸引力的確不及生蠔大,大家也只了少許,轉過頭來又再次投入生蠔的懷抱了。

是晚的確盡興,大吃大喝,要數小弟吃了多少,想想生加熟也有三十多隻吧,說驚人倒不算驚人,因為我們五人共點了十五打生蠔,三打熟蠔,共十八打,除開每人也吃了差不多三打多一點。
