三月總共有兩餐生日飯,呢個係其中一餐——幫朋友慶祝得生日餐廳梗係唔可以隨便揀啦!係朋友嘅介紹之下,今次揀咗呢間主打熟成牛扒嘅西餐廳。喺正式食牛扒之前,我哋首先嗌咗幾個前菜。Toast with sardine paste ($45) & dry tomatoes paste ($38)第一道菜係多士,配上兩種醬,一種係乾番茄,另一種係沙甸魚。沙甸魚完全冇腥味,非常清新,乾番茄亦都唔錯,兩種醬配上麵包都非常開胃。Papadum bread with mango chutney跟住下一道菜係脆餅配芒果醬。脆餅口感焦焦脆脆,配上甜甜嘅芒果醬,意外地都幾夾。Szechuan sauteed veggies assortment ($46) & Potato gratin ($38) & Green salad marinated with citrus vinaigrette ($41)另外仲嗌咗三個小食,一個係沙津,中規中矩。另一個係四川風味嘅炒菜,味道都OK。最後係焗烤薯仔,呢個係三個小食裏面最好食嘅,薯仔焗得又軟又嫩,配上醬汁,非常惹味。跟住正式進入主菜時間,我哋總共嗌左三個主菜。Pri

另外仲嗌咗三個小食,一個係沙津,中規中矩。另一個係四川風味嘅炒菜,味道都OK。最後係焗烤薯仔,呢個係三個小食裏面最好食嘅,薯仔焗得又軟又嫩,配上醬汁,非常惹味。

首先我一定要集中表揚一下佢嘅熟成牛扒。嚟之前我從來未試過熟成牛肉,所以都幾擔心唔啱自己胃口。但事實證明熟成牛肉確實係貴得有道理,難怪話係高級西餐廳或者扒房先會用到啦。
上wiki查過,乾式熟成牛肉 (Dry-aged beef) 係指吊掛且經過幾個禮拜風乾後嘅牛肉,呢種方法可以令牛肉嘅風味更加集中、肉質變得更加軟嫩。
今餐食嘅牛肉比平日食嘅真係更加柔嫩多汁,而且自帶一種淡淡嘅煙燻香氣,再配上餐廳提供嘅兩款醬汁,分別係黑蒜醬同白蒜醬,就令牛肉嘅味道更豐富同更有層次。如果其他幾道菜係四五粒星嘅話,呢一道菜我真係會想俾六粒星!!

另一道我都好中意嘅主菜係炒蜆。醬汁本身就非常香甜濃郁,仲加入咗少少lemongrass,同埋有淡淡嘅酒香,除左非常襯蜆之外,用來點麵包食簡直一流!我地特登叫多咗個蒜蓉包,就係為咗配個汁嚟食。

最后一道菜係烤挪威海螯蝦,亦都係我第一次食。佢外形比較獨特,細細長長,肉唔算多,但非常鮮甜同埋嫩滑,比平時食開嘅蝦肉好食好多,亦係令我非常喜出望外嘅一道菜!
